Psalms 46
1 For the end, for the sons of Core; a Psalm concerning secret things. God is our refuge and strength, a help in the afflictions that have come heavily upon us.
१प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये कोरहवंशियों का, अलामोत की राग पर एक गीत परमेश्वर हमारा शरणस्थान और बल है, संकट में अति सहज से मिलनेवाला सहायक।
2 Therefore will we not fear when the earth is troubled, and the mountains are removed into the depths of the seas.
२इस कारण हमको कोई भय नहीं चाहे पृथ्वी उलट जाए, और पहाड़ समुद्र के बीच में डाल दिए जाएँ;
3 Their waters have roared and been troubled, the mountains have been troubled by his might. (Pause)
३चाहे समुद्र गरजें और फेन उठाए, और पहाड़ उसकी बाढ़ से काँप उठे। (सेला)
4 The flowings of the river gladden the city of God: the Most High has sanctified his tabernacle.
४एक नदी है जिसकी नहरों से परमेश्वर के नगर में अर्थात् परमप्रधान के पवित्र निवास भवन में आनन्द होता है।
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her with his countenance.
५परमेश्वर उस नगर के बीच में है, वह कभी टलने का नहीं; पौ फटते ही परमेश्वर उसकी सहायता करता है।
6 The nations were troubled, the kingdoms tottered: he uttered his voice, the earth shook.
६जाति-जाति के लोग झल्ला उठे, राज्य-राज्य के लोग डगमगाने लगे; वह बोल उठा, और पृथ्वी पिघल गई।
7 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our helper. (Pause)
७सेनाओं का यहोवा हमारे संग है; याकूब का परमेश्वर हमारा ऊँचा गढ़ है। (सेला)
8 Come, and behold the works of the Lord, what wonders he has achieved on the earth.
८आओ, यहोवा के महाकर्म देखो, कि उसने पृथ्वी पर कैसा-कैसा उजाड़ किया है।
9 Putting an end to wars as for the ends of the earth; he will crush the bow, and break in pieces the weapon, and burn the bucklers with fire.
९वह पृथ्वी की छोर तक लड़ाइयों को मिटाता है; वह धनुष को तोड़ता, और भाले को दो टुकड़े कर डालता है, और रथों को आग में झोंक देता है!
10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
१०“चुप हो जाओ, और जान लो कि मैं ही परमेश्वर हूँ। मैं जातियों में महान हूँ, मैं पृथ्वी भर में महान हूँ!”
11 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our helper.
११सेनाओं का यहोवा हमारे संग है; याकूब का परमेश्वर हमारा ऊँचा गढ़ है। (सेला)
