Psalms 4
1 For the End, a Song of David among [the ]Psalms. When I called upon [him], the God of my righteousness heard me: you have made room for me in tribulation; pity me, and listen to my prayer.
| بۆ سەرۆکی کۆمەڵی مۆسیقاژەنان، بە ئامێرە ژێدارەکان. زەبوورێکی داود ئەی خودای ڕاستودروستم، کە لێت دەپاڕێمەوە وەڵامم بدەوە. لە تەنگانەدا بە هانامەوە هاتی، لەگەڵم میهرەبان بە و گوێ لە نوێژەکەم بگرە. |
2 O you sons of men, how long [will you be] slow of heart? therefore do you love vanity, and seek falsehood? (Pause)
| ئەی خەڵکینە، هەتا کەی شکۆی من دەگۆڕن بە شورەیی؟ هەتا کەی حەز لە قسەی پووچ دەکەن و بەدوای درۆدا دەگەڕێن؟ |
3 But know you that the Lord has done wondrous things for his holy one: the Lord will hear me when I cry to him.
| بەڵام بزانن کە یەزدان دڵسۆزەکانی بۆ خۆی تەرخان کردووە. یەزدان گوێم لێ دەگرێت کاتێک لێی دەپاڕێمەوە. |
4 Be you angry, and sin not; feel compunction upon your beds for what you say in your hearts. (Pause)
| کاتێک تووڕە دەبن، گوناه مەکەن، بەڵام کە لەسەر نوێنەکانتانن لە دڵی خۆتاندا لێکی بدەنەوە و بێدەنگ بن. |
5 Offer the sacrifice of righteousness, and trust in the Lord.
| قوربانیی ڕاستودروست بکەن و پشت بە یەزدان ببەستن. |
6 Many say, Who will show us good things? the light of your countenance, O Lord, has been manifested towards us.
| زۆر کەس دەڵێن: «کێ چاکەمان نیشان دەدات؟» ئەی یەزدان، با ڕووناکی ڕووی تۆ بەسەرماندا هەڵبێت. |
7 You have put gladness into my heart: they have been satisfied with the fruit of their corn and wine and oil.
| تۆ خۆشییەکی وات خستووەتە دڵی منەوە زۆر لەوانە زیاترە کە دانەوێڵە و شەرابیان زۆرە. |
8 I will both lie down in peace and sleep: for you, Lord, only have caused me to dwell securely.
| ئەی یەزدان، بە ئاشتی پاڵ دەدەمەوە و دەخەوم، چونکە تەنها تۆ بە ئاسوودەیی نیشتەجێم دەکەیت. |
