Psalms 31
1 For the end, a Psalm of David, [an utterance] of extreme fear. O Lord, I have hoped in you; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in your righteousness and rescue me.
हे परमप्रभु, तपाईंमा म शरण लिन्छु । मलाई कदापि अपमानित हुन नदिनुहोस् । तपाईंको धार्मिकतामा मलाई बचाउनुहोस् ।
2 Incline your ear to me; make haste to rescue me: be you to me for a protecting God, and for a house of refuge to save me.
मेरो पुकार सुन्नुहोस् । मलाई तुरुन्तै बचाउनुहोस् । मेरो शरणको चट्टान अर्थात् मलाई बचाउने किल्ला हुनुहोस् ।
3 For you are my strength and my refuge; and you shall guide me for your name's sake, and maintain me.
किनकि तपाईं मेरो चट्टान र मेरो किल्ला हुनुहुन्छ । यसकारण तपाईंको नाउँको खातिर मलाई डोर्याउनुहोस् र बाटो देखाउनुहोस् ।
4 You shall bring me out of the snare which they have hidden for me; for you, O Lord, are my defender.
तिनीहरूले मेरो निम्ति लुकाएर थपेका जालबाट मलाई तानेर निकाल्नुहोस्, किनकि तपाईं मेरो शरणस्थान हुनुहुन्छ ।
5 Into your hands I will commit my spirit: you have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.
मेरो आत्मा म तपाईंको हातमा सुम्पिन्छु । हे परमप्रभु, विश्वासनीयताको परमेश्वर, तपाईंले मलाई उद्धार गर्नुहुनेछ ।
6 You has hated them that idly persist in vanities: but I have hoped in the Lord.
व्यर्थका मूर्तीहरूको सेवा गर्नेहरूलाई म घृणा गर्छु, तर म परमप्रभुमा भरोसा गर्छु ।
7 I will exult and be glad in your mercy: for you have looked upon mine affliction; you have saved my soul from distresses.
तपाईंको करारको विश्वस्ततामा म खुसी र आनन्दित हुनेछु, किनकि तपाईंले मेरो कष्ट देख्नुभयो । मेरो प्राणको कष्ट तपाईंले थाहा पाउनुभयो ।
8 And you have not shut me up into the hands of the enemy: you have set my feet in a wide place.
तपाईंले मलाई मेरो शत्रुको हातमा दिनुभएको छैन । तपाईंले मेरा खुट्टाहरूलाई चौडा खुल्ला ठाउँमा राख्नुभएको छ ।
9 Pity me, O Lord, for I am afflicted: my eye is troubled with indignation, my soul and by belly.
हे परमप्रभु, ममाथि दया गर्नुहोस्, किनकि म कष्टमा परेको छु । मेरो प्राण र मेरो शरीरको दुःखसँगै मेरा आँखाहरू थकित हुन्छ ।
10 For my life is spent with grief, and my years with groanings: my strength has been weakened through poverty, and my bones are troubled.
किनकि मेरो जीवन कष्टले र मेरा वर्षहरू शोकले थकित छ । मेरो पापको कारणले मेरो बल सकिन्छ र मेरा हाडहरू खिइन्छन् ।
11 I became a reproach among all mine enemies, but exceedingly so to my neighbors, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that saw me without fled from me.
मेरा सबै शत्रुका कारणले मानिसहरूले मलाई घृणा गर्छन् । मेरो स्थिति हेरेर मेरा छिमेकीहरू डराउँन् र मलाई चिन्नेहरू भयभीत हुन्छन् । मलाई बाटोमा देख्नेहरू मदेखि भाग्छन् ।
12 I have been forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am become as a broken vessel.
मरेको मानिसलाई झैं मलाई भुलिएको जसलाई कसैले विचार गर्दैन । म फुटेको भाँडोजस्तै छु ।
13 For I heard the slander of many that lived round about: when they were gathered together against me, they took counsel to take my life.
किनकि मैले धेरै जनाको कानेखुसी, तिनीहरूले एकसाथ मेरो विरुद्ध षड्यान्त्र गर्दा चारैतिरबाट डरलाग्दो खबर मैले सुनेको छु । मेरो ज्यान लिन तिनीहरूले षड्यान्त्र गर्छन् ।
14 But I hoped in you, O Lord: I said, You are my God.
तर हे परमप्रभु, म तपाईंमा भरोसा गर्छु । म भन्छु, “तपाईं मेरो परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ ।”
15 My lots are in your hands: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies,
मेरा समयहरू तपाईंका हातमा छन् । मेरा शत्रुहरू र मलाई खेद्नेहरूका हातबाट मलाई बचाउनुहोस् ।
16 and from them that persecute me. Make your face to shine upon your servant: save me in your mercy.
आफ्नो दासमाथि तपाईंको मुहार चम्काउनुहोस् । तपाईंको करारको विश्वस्ततामा मलाई बचाउनुहोस् ।
17 O Lord, let me not be ashamed, for I have called upon you: let the ungodly be ashamed, and brought down to Hades. (Sheol h7585)
हे परमप्रभु, मलाई अपमानिसत हुन नदिनुहोस् । किनकि म तपाईंमा पुकारा गर्छु । दुष्टहरू अपमानित होऊन्! तिनीहरू चिहानमा शान्त होऊन्! (Sheol h7585)
18 Let the deceitful lips become dumb, which speak iniquity against the righteous with pride and scorn.
धर्मीहरूका विरुद्धमा अहङ्कार र घृणासहित उपेक्षित रूपले बोल्ने ओठहरू चूप होऊन् ।
19 How abundant is the multitude of your goodness, O Lord, which you have laid up for them that fear you! you have wrought [it] out for them that hope on you, in the presence of the sons of men.
तपाईंको आदर गर्नेहरूका निम्ति तपाईंले सन्चित गर्नुभएको तपाईंको भलाइ कति महान् छ । त्यो तपाईंमा शरण लिनेहरूका निम्ति मानवजातिका सारा सन्तानका सामु तपाईंले प्रदर्शन गर्नुहुन्छ ।
20 You will hide them in the secret of your presence from the vexation of man: you will screen them in a tabernacle from the contradiction of tongues.
तपाईंको उपस्थितिको छत्रछायामा, तपाईंले तिनीहरूलाई मानिसहरूको षड्यन्त्रबाट लुकाउनुहुन्छ । जिब्राहरूका हिंसाबाट तपाईंले तिनीहरूलाई छत्रछायामा लुकाउनुहुन्छ ।
21 Blessed be the Lord: for he has magnified his mercy in a fortified city.
परमप्रभु धन्यको होऊन्, किनकि म घेराबन्दीको सहरमा हुँदा उहाँले मलाई आफ्नो अचम्मको करारको विश्वस्तता दर्शाउनुभयो ।
22 But I said in my extreme fear, I am cast out from the sight of your eyes: therefore you did listen, O Lord, to the voice of my supplication when I cried to you.
मैले हतारमा यसो भनें, “तपाईंको दृष्टिबाट म हटाइएको छु,” तापनि मैले तपाईंलमा पुकारा गर्दा, तपाईंले मेरो बिन्ती सुन्नुभयो ।
23 Love the Lord, all you his saints: for the Lord seeks for truth, and renders [a reward] to them that deal very proudly.
ए सबै विश्वासयोग्य अनुयायीहरू हो, परमप्रभुलाई प्रेम गर । परमप्रभुले विश्वासयोग्यलाई सुरक्षा दिनुहुन्छ । तर उहाँले अहङ्कारीलाई पूरा बदला लिनुहुन्छ ।
24 Be of good courage, and let your heart be strengthened, all you that hope in the Lord.
ए सबै सहायताको निम्ति परमप्रभुमा भरोसा गर्नेहरू हो, बलियो र दृढ होओ ।
