Psalms 29
1 A Psalm of David [on the occasion] of the solemn assembly of the Tabernacle. Bring to the Lord, you sons of God, bring to the Lord young rams; bring to the Lord glory and honor.
ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. ദൈവപുത്രന്മാരേ, യഹോവയ്ക്കു കൊടുക്കുക, യഹോവയ്ക്കു മഹത്ത്വവും ശക്തിയും കൊടുക്കുക.
2 Bring to the Lord glory, [due] to his name; worship the lord in his holy court.
യഹോവയ്ക്ക് അവിടത്തെ നാമത്തിനുതക്ക മഹത്ത്വംകൊടുക്കുക; യഹോവയുടെ വിശുദ്ധിയുടെ പ്രതാപത്തിന് അനുസൃതമായി അവിടത്തെ ആരാധിക്കുക.
3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory has thundered: the Lord is upon many waters.
യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ദം ആഴിക്കുമീതേ മുഴങ്ങുന്നു; മഹത്ത്വത്തിന്റെ ദൈവം ഇടിമുഴക്കുന്നു, യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ദം പെരുവെള്ളത്തിനുമീതേ മുഴങ്ങുന്നു.
4 The voice of the Lord is mighty; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ദം ശക്തിയുള്ളതാണ്; യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ദം പ്രതാപമേറിയതാണ്.
5 [There is] the voice of the Lord who breaks the cedars; the Lord will break the cedars of Libanus.
യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ദം ദേവദാരുക്കളെ പിളർക്കുന്നു യഹോവ ലെബാനോനിലെ ദേവദാരുക്കളെ തകർക്കുന്നു.
6 And he will beat them small, [even] Libanus itself, like a calf; and the beloved one is as a young unicorn.
അവിടന്ന് ലെബാനോനെ ഒരു കാളക്കിടാവിനെപ്പോലെ തുള്ളിച്ചാടിക്കുന്നു, ശിര്യോനെ ഒരു കാട്ടുകാളക്കിടാവിനെപ്പോലെയും.
7 [There is] a voice of the Lord who divides a flame of fire.
യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ദം അഗ്നിജ്വാലകളെ ഉതിർക്കുന്നു
8 A voice of the Lord who shakes the wilderness; the Lord will shake the wilderness of Cades.
യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ദം മരുഭൂമിയെ പ്രകമ്പനംകൊള്ളിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ കാദേശ് മരുഭൂമിയെ നടുക്കുന്നു.
9 The voice of the Lord strengthens the hinds, and will uncover the thickets: and in his temple every one speaks [of his] glory.
യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ദം വന്മരങ്ങളെ ചുഴറ്റുന്നു വനത്തെ തോലുരിച്ച് നഗ്നമാക്കുന്നു. കർത്താവിന്റെ ആലയത്തിൽ എല്ലാവരും “മഹത്ത്വം!” എന്ന് ആർപ്പിടുന്നു.
10 The Lord will dwell on the waterflood: and the Lord will sit a king for ever.
യഹോവ ജലപ്രളയത്തിനുമീതേ സിംഹാസനസ്ഥനായിരിക്കുന്നു യഹോവ എന്നേക്കും രാജാവായി വാഴുന്നു.
11 The Lord will give strength to his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.
യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തിനു ശക്തിനൽകുന്നു; യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തിനു സമാധാനമരുളി അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.
