< Psalms 27 >
1 [A Psalm] of David, before he was anointed. The Lord is my light and my Saviour; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the defender of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Nataon’ i Davida.
2 When evil-doers drew near against me to eat up my flesh, my persecutors and mine enemies, they fainted and fell.
Raha manatona ahy hihinana ny nofoko ny ratsy fanahy, izay fahavaloko sy rafilahiko, dia izy ihany no tafintohina ka lavo.
3 Though an army should set itself in array against me, my heart shall not be afraid: though war should rise up against me, in this am I confident.
Na dia misy antokony mitoby hiady amiko aza, tsy hatahotra ny foko; na dia misy ady mihatra amiko aza, dia hatoky ihany aho.
4 One thing have I asked of the Lord, this will I earnestly seek: that I should dwell in the house of the Lord, all the days of my life, that I should behold the fair beauty of the Lord, and survey his temple.
Zavatra iray loha no nangatahiko tamin’ i Jehovah, izany no hotadiaviko, dia ny hitoetra ao an-tranon’ i Jehovah amin’ ny andro rehetra hiainako, mba ho faly mijery ny fahasoavan’ i Jehovah sy mandinika ny tempoliny.
5 For in the day of mine afflictions he hid me in his tabernacle: he sheltered me in the secret of his tabernacle; he set me up on a rock.
Fa hanafina ahy ao an-trano fialofany amin’ ny andro fahoriana Izy; hampiery ahy amin’ ny fierena ao an-dainy Izy; hanandratra ahy ho eny ambony vatolampy Izy.
6 And now, behold, he has lifted up mine head over mine enemies: I went round and offered in his tabernacle the sacrifice of joy; I will sing even sing psalms to the Lord.
Koa dia hisandratra ambonin’ ny fahavaloko manodidina ahy ny lohako, ka hanatitra fanatitra hihobiana ao an-dainy aho; hihira sy hankalaza an’ i Jehovah aho.
7 Hear, O Lord, my voice which I have uttered aloud: pity me, and listen to me.
Mihainoa, Jehovah ô, fa mitaraina mafy aho; ary mamindrà fo amiko, ka valio aho.
8 My heart said to you, I have diligently sought your face: your face, O Lord, I will seek.
Raha hoy Hianao: tadiavonareo ny tavako, dia hoy ny navalin’ ny foko: Eny, ny tavanao no tadiaviko, Jehovah ô;
9 Turn not your face away from me, turn not you away from your servant in anger: be you my helper, forsake me not; and, O God my Saviour, overlook me not.
Aza manafina ny tavanao amiko, aza mandroaka ny mpanomponao an-katezerana; efa famonjena ahy Hianao; aza manary na mahafoy ahy, ry Andriamanitry ny famonjena ahy.
10 For my father and my mother have forsaken me, but the Lord has taken me to himself.
Fa ny raiko aman-dreniko efa nahafoy ahy; fa Jehovah kosa no mandray ahy.
11 Teach me, O Lord, in your way, and guide me in a right path, because of mine enemies.
Ampianaro ny lalanao aho, Jehovah ô; ary tariho amin’ ny lalana marina aho noho ny fahavaloko.
12 Deliver me not over to the desire of them that afflict me; for unjust witnesses have risen up against me, and injustice has lied within herself.
Aza manolotra ahy ho amin’ ny sitrapon’ ny mpampahory ahy; fa vavolombelona mandainga sy izay mifofofofo loza no mitsangana hiampanga ahy.
13 I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Raha izay re aho no tsy nanantena hahita ny fahasoavan’ i Jehovah amin’ ny tanin’ ny velona.
14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and let your heart be strengthened: yes wait on the Lord.
Miandrasa an’ i Jehovah ianao; matokia, ary aoka hahery ny fonao; eny, miandrasa an’ i Jehovah.
