Psalms 21
1 For the end, a Psalm of David. O Lord, the king shall rejoice in your strength; and in your salvation he shall greatly exult.
Псалом Давиду. Господи, силою Твоею возвеселится царь, и о спасении Твоем возрадуется зело.
2 You have granted him the desire of his soul, and have not withheld from him the request of his lips. (Pause)
Желание сердца его дал еси ему, и хотения устну его неси лишил его.
3 For you have prevented him with blessings of goodness: you has set upon his head a crown of precious stone.
Яко предварил еси его благословением благостынным, положил еси на главе его венец от камене честна.
4 He asked life of you, and you gave him length of days for ever and ever.
Живота просил есть у Тебе, и дал еси ему долготу дний во век века.
5 His glory is great in your salvation: you will crown him with glory and majesty.
Велия слава его спасением Твоим: славу и велелепие возложиши на него.
6 For you will give him a blessing for ever and ever: you will gladden him with joy with your countenance.
Яко даси ему благословение во век века: возвеселиши его радостию с лицем Твоим.
7 For the king trusts in the Lord, and through the mercy of the Highest he shall not be moved.
Яко царь уповает на Господа, и милостию Вышняго не подвижится.
8 Let your hand be found by all your enemies: let your right hand find all that hate you.
Да обрящется рука Твоя всем врагом Твоим, десница Твоя да обрящет вся ненавидящыя Тебе.
9 You shall make them as a fiery oven at the time of your presence: the Lord shall trouble them in his anger, and fire shall devour them.
Яко положиши их яко пещь огненную во время лица Твоего: Господь гневом Своим смятет я, и снесть их огнь.
10 You shall destroy their fruit from the earth, and their seed from [among] the sons of men.
Плод их от земли погубиши, и семя их от сынов человеческих.
11 For they intended evils against you; they imagined a device which they shall by no means be able to perform.
Яко уклониша на Тя злая, помыслиша советы, ихже не возмогут составити.
12 For you shall make them [turn their] back in your latter end, you will prepare their face.
Яко положиши я хребет: во избытцех Твоих уготовиши лице их.
13 Be you exalted, O Lord, in your strength: we will sing and praise your mighty acts.
Вознесися, Господи, силою Твоею: воспоем и поем силы Твоя.
