Psalms 20

1 For the end, a Psalm of David. The Lord hear you in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend you.

౧ప్రధాన సంగీతకారుని కోసం దావీదు కీర్తన ఆపద సమయంలో యెహోవా నీకు జవాబిస్తాడు గాక. యాకోబు దేవుని నామం నిన్ను కాపాడుతుంది గాక.

2 Send you help from the sanctuary, and aid you out of Sion.

౨పరిశుద్ధ స్థలంలోనుంచి ఆయన నీకు సహాయం చేస్తాడు గాక. సీయోనులోనుంచి నిన్ను ఆదుకుంటాడు గాక.

3 Remember all your sacrifice, and enrich your whole burnt offering. (Pause)

౩ఆయన నీ అర్పణలు జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకుని, నీ దహన బలులు అంగీకరిస్తాడు గాక.

4 Grant you according to your heart, and fulfill all your desire.

౪నీ హృదయవాంఛను తీర్చి నీ ప్రణాళికలన్నీ నెరవేరుస్తాడు గాక.

5 We will exult in your salvation, and in the name of our God shall we be magnified: the Lord fulfil all your petitions.

౫అప్పుడు నీ రక్షణను బట్టి మేము ఆనందిస్తాము. దేవా, నీ పేరట జెండా ఎత్తుతాము. నీ అభ్యర్ధనలన్నీ యెహోవా మంజూరు చేస్తాడు గాక.

6 Now I know that the Lord has saved his Christ: he shall hear him from his holy heaven: the salvation of his right hand is mighty.

౬యెహోవా తన అభిషిక్తుణ్ణి రక్షిస్తాడని నాకిప్పుడు తెలిసింది. రక్షించగల తన కుడిచేతి బలంతో తన పవిత్రాకాశంలోనుంచి అతనికి జవాబిస్తాడు.

7 Some [glory] in chariots, and some in horses: but we will glory in the name of the Lord our God.

౭కొందరు రథాలను, కొందరు గుర్రాలను నమ్ముకుంటారు. కాని మనం మన దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు మొర పెడతాము.

8 They are overthrown and fallen: but we are risen, and have been set upright.

౮వాళ్ళు కుంగి నేల మీద పడిపోతారు, మనం లేచి తిన్నగా నిలిచి ఉంటాము!

9 O Lord, save the king: and hear us in whatever day we call upon you.

౯యెహోవా, రాజును రక్షించు. మేము మొరపెట్టినప్పుడు మాకు సహాయం చెయ్యి.
