< Psalms 17 >

1 A prayer of David. Listen, O Lord of my righteousness, attend to my petition; give ear to my prayer not [uttered] with deceitful lips.
MAING kom kotin ereki me pung o kotin mangi ai likwir o kotin kupura ai kapakap, me sota kin kowei sang nan kil en au likam eu.
2 Let my judgment come forth from your presence; let mine eyes behold righteousness.
Ai pung en pwili sang re omui, o kom kotin masan dong me pung.
3 You has proved mine heart; you have visited [me] by night; you have tried me as with fire, and unrighteousness has not been found in me: [I am purposed] that my mouth shall not speak [amiss].
Kom kotin kasaui mongiong i ni pong, o komui kotin sosong ia, ap sota me kom kotin diar. I inaukidi, me i sota pan sapung ni ai lokaia.
4 As for the works of men, by the words of your lips I have guarded [myself from] hard ways.
I kin rukila pan masan en silang omui sang mon tiak en aramas o al en men kamela.
5 Direct my steps in your paths, that my steps slip not.
Ni ai alialu wei i sota muei sang nan lip en aluwilu omui, ai kakawei sota katia sang.
6 I have cried, for you heard me, O God: incline your ear to me, and listen to my words.
I likwiri ong komui, Maing Kot, kom kotin mangi ia, o kapaike dong ia karong omui, o kotin ereki ai kapakap.
7 Show the marvels of your mercies, you that save them that hope in you.
Kom kotin kasaleda omui kalangan kapuriamui, pwe pali maun omui sauas pan ir, me kin liki komui, ong ir me palian ir.
8 Keep me as the apple of the eye from those that resist your right hand: you shall screen me by the covering of your wings,
Sinsila ia dueta por en mas eu, o kotin pera kin ia mot en lim omui,
9 from the face of the ungodly that have afflicted me: mine enemies have compassed about my soul.
Mon me sapung kan, me men kawe ia la, mon ai imwintiti, me kin kapil ia pena.
10 They have enclosed [themselves with] their own fat: their mouth has spoken pride.
Re kin kapiridi mongiong arail; o sang nan au arail re kin lokaia aklapalap.
11 They have now cast me out and compassed me round about: they have set their eyes [so as] to bow them down to the ground.
Wasa se kin kola ia, re kin kapil kit pena, mas arail kin masamasan, pwen kase kit di ong nan pwel.
12 They laid wait for me as a lion ready for prey, and like a lion's whelp dwelling in secret [places].
Dueta laien amen, me inong iong manga, o dueta laien pul amen, me wonon nan wasa rir.
13 Arise, O Lord, prevent them, and cast them down: deliver my soul from the ungodly: [draw] your sword,
Maing, kom kotida, kaloedi o kanamenokla i; dorela maur i sang me sapung kan ki omui kodlas,
14 because of the enemies of your hand: O Lord, destroy them from the earth; scatter them in their life, though their belly has been filled with your hidden [treasures]: they have been satisfied with uncleanness, and have left the remnant [of their possessions] to their babes.
Sang ren aramas akan ki lim omui, Maing Ieowa, sang ren aramas en sappa wet, me pwais arail ni maur et; kom kotin kadire kila kaped arail omui dipiso kan, me nairail seri ol me toto, o nairail akan me pan sosoki luan arail kapwa.
15 But I shall appear in righteousness before your face: I shall be satisfied when your glory appears.
A i pan ariri silang omui ni ai pung, o i pan medikila mom omui ni ai pan pirida.
