< Psalms 17 >
1 A prayer of David. Listen, O Lord of my righteousness, attend to my petition; give ear to my prayer not [uttered] with deceitful lips.
Libondeli ya Davidi. Oh Yawe, yoka ngai! Kolela na ngai ezali sembo! Yoka koganga na ngai! Landa malamu libondeli na ngai, oyo ezali kobimela te na bibebu ya lokuta.
2 Let my judgment come forth from your presence; let mine eyes behold righteousness.
Tika ete, na mitindo na Yo, bosembo na ngai emonisama solo mpe miso na Yo emona oyo ezali alima!
3 You has proved mine heart; you have visited [me] by night; you have tried me as with fire, and unrighteousness has not been found in me: [I am purposed] that my mouth shall not speak [amiss].
Soki otali malamu motema na ngai, soki olandeli ngai ata na butu mpe omeki ngai, okomona ete nasalaki mabongisi ya mabe te, monoko na ngai ebukaki mobeko te.
4 As for the works of men, by the words of your lips I have guarded [myself from] hard ways.
Ata tango bato bamekaki kopesa ngai kanyaka, nabatelaki kaka maloba na Yo mpo ete natambola te na banzela ya bato ya masumu.
5 Direct my steps in your paths, that my steps slip not.
Matambe na ngai ezalaka kaka na banzela na Yo, napengwaka te.
6 I have cried, for you heard me, O God: incline your ear to me, and listen to my words.
Nzambe na ngai, nabelelaka Yo, pamba te oyanolaka ngai. Yoka libondeli na ngai.
7 Show the marvels of your mercies, you that save them that hope in you.
Yo oyo obikisaka mpe okangolaka, na nzela ya loboko na Yo ya mobali, bato oyo bazwaka Yo lokola ebombamelo na bango, lakisa ngai misala kitoko ya bolingo monene na Yo.
8 Keep me as the apple of the eye from those that resist your right hand: you shall screen me by the covering of your wings,
Batela ngai lokola mbuma ya liso, bomba ngai na se ya mapapu na Yo,
9 from the face of the ungodly that have afflicted me: mine enemies have compassed about my soul.
mosika ya bato mabe oyo bazali konyokola ngai, mosika ya banguna na ngai oyo bazingeli ngai.
10 They have enclosed [themselves with] their own fat: their mouth has spoken pride.
Bakomisi mitema na bango makasi, mpe bazali koloba na lolendo.
11 They have now cast me out and compassed me round about: they have set their eyes [so as] to bow them down to the ground.
Bazali kolanda ngai, basili kozingela ngai, mpe bazali koluka ndenge nini kobwaka ngai na mabele.
12 They laid wait for me as a lion ready for prey, and like a lion's whelp dwelling in secret [places].
Bazali lokola nkosi oyo etondi na posa makasi ya kokanga nyama, lokola nkosi ya kanda makasi kati na ebombamelo na yango.
13 Arise, O Lord, prevent them, and cast them down: deliver my soul from the ungodly: [draw] your sword,
Yawe, telema, kutana na bango mpe bebisa bango; na nzela ya mopanga na Yo, kangola ngai wuta na maboko ya bato mabe.
14 because of the enemies of your hand: O Lord, destroy them from the earth; scatter them in their life, though their belly has been filled with your hidden [treasures]: they have been satisfied with uncleanness, and have left the remnant [of their possessions] to their babes.
Yawe, na nzela ya nguya na Yo, kangola ngai wuta na maboko ya bato wana, kangola ngai wuta na maboko ya bato ya mokili oyo. Tika ete kufa ezala litomba na bango! Tika ete, bango mpe bana na bango, balia na lokoso, mpe mabumu na bango etonda na bikolo oyo obombaka mpo na bango; bongo babomba ndambo oyo ekotikala mpo na bakitani na bango!
15 But I shall appear in righteousness before your face: I shall be satisfied when your glory appears.
Mpo na ngai, sima na ngai kolonga, nakotala elongi na Yo; sima na ngai kolamuka, nakosepela na komona Yo!
