< Psalms 16 >
1 A writing of David. Keep me, O Lord; for I have hoped in you.
Neihoibitnin O Elohim Pathen: ajeh chu nangahi kinem jing kahi.
2 I said to the Lord, You are my Lord; for you has no need of my goodness.
O Kalhagao, nangman Yahweh Pakai koma Nanghi ka Pakai nahi nati, thilpha kaneijouse hi nanga kon bou ahi;
3 On behalf of the saints that are in his land, he has magnified all his pleasure in them.
Leiset a Elohim Pathen lhentumte hi pachat umtah ahiuvin, amahohi keidinga kagal lamkai le kakipa thanop napen ahiuve.
4 Their weaknesses have been multiplied; afterward they hasted. I will by no means assemble their bloody meetings, neither will I make mention of their names with my lips.
Pathen dangho nung jui a delle ho chu alung khamnao kibejing ding ahi. Amaho thisan a kilhaina ganthat a pang ka hilou ding, a pathen nu jong kahoupeh loudiu ahi.
5 The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: you are he that restores my inheritance to me.
Yahweh Pakai hi ka chanding gou le ka phatthei channa khon chu ahi. Yahweh Pakai in ka ijakai eichintup peh e.
6 The lines have fallen to me in the best places, yes, I have a most excellent heritage.
Nangin neipeh gam jonghi gamphapen ahi, itobanga goupha kidang neipeh hitam!
7 I will bless the Lord who has instructed me; my reins too have chastened me even till night.
Ijakai eihilla ka Yahweh Pakai chu keiman thangvah inge; janteng jong le avel in eigeldoh sah jin eihil jie.
8 I foresaw the Lord always before my face; for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved.
Yahweh Pakai in eiumpi danhi keiman hetna kanei jinge. Amahi kakomma naichakhatna um ahi ti kahen hijeh chun keima lungthomhao ponge.
9 Therefore my heart rejoiced an my tongue exulted; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
Hijeh hin keima kalung amongsellin chuleh kipanan kadimmin Elohim Pathen kathangvah e.
10 because you will not leave my soul in hell, neither will you suffer your Holy One to see corruption. (Sheol )
Ajeh chu nangin thina mun a neidalha pon natin namitheng te jong lhankhuh a lhahlutsah pon nate. (Sheol )
11 You have made known to me the ways of life; you will fill me with joy with your countenance: at your right hand [there are] delights for ever.
Nangin hinnalampi chu neimusah'in natin, neiumpi jal a kipana le nei umpina tonsot nopna chu nei pen nate.
