Psalms 150

1 Alleluia. Praise God in his holy places: praise him in the firmament of his power.

Hallelúja! Lofið Drottin! Lofið hann í musteri hans, lofið hann á himnum.

2 Praise him on [account of] his mighty acts: praise him according to his abundant greatness.

Lofið hann fyrir máttarverk hans. Lofið hann fyrir mikilleik hátignar hans.

3 Praise him with the sound of a trumpet: praise him with lute and harp.

Lofið hann með lúðrablæstri, hörpu og gígju.

4 Praise him with timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and the organ.

Lofið hann með strengjaleik og hjarðpípum.

5 Praise him with melodious cymbals: praise him with loud cymbals.

Lofið hann með hljómandi skálabumbum, já og með hvellum skálabumbum!

6 Let every thing that has breath praise the Lord.

Allt sem andardrátt hefur lofi Drottin! Einnig þú! Hallelúja!
