Psalms 141
1 A Psalm of David. O Lord, I have cried to you; hear me: attend to the voice of my supplication, when I cry to you.
¡Oh Yavé, a Ti clamo, apresúrate hacia mí! Presta oído a mi voz cuando te invoco.
2 Let my prayer be set forth before you as incense; the lifting up of my hands [as] an evening sacrifice.
Que mi oración sea contada como incienso delante de Ti, El levantamiento de mis manos como [la] ofrenda de la tarde.
3 Set a watch, O Lord, on my mouth, and a strong door about by lips.
Pon, oh Yavé, un guardia sobre mi boca. Vigila la puerta de mis labios.
4 Incline not my heart to evil things, to employ pretexts for sins, with me who work iniquity: and I will not. let me not unite with their choice ones.
No inclines mi corazón a alguna cosa perversa, Para que haga obras de perversidad Con hombres que practican iniquidad, Y no me dejes probar sus golosinas.
5 The righteous shall chasten me with mercy, and reprove me: but let not the oil of the sinner anoint my head: for yet shall my prayer also be in their pleasures.
Que el justo me castigue con bondad Y me reprenda. No permitas que el aceite del impío embellezca mi cabeza. Porque aun mi oración está contra las obras perversas.
6 Their mighty ones have been swallowed up near the rock: they shall hear my words, for they are sweet.
Sean lanzados sus jueces por las laderas de la peña. Y oigan mis palabras, porque son agradables.
7 As a lump of earth is crushed upon the ground, our bones have been scattered by the [mouth of] the grave. (Sheol h7585)
Como cuando uno ara y rompe la tierra, Nuestros huesos fueron esparcidos en la boca del Seol. (Sheol h7585)
8 For mine eyes are to you, O Lord God: I have hoped in you; take not away my life.
Pero mis ojos están hacia Ti, oh Yavé, ʼAdonay. En Ti me refugio. No me dejes indefenso.
9 Keep me from the snare which they have set for me, and from the stumbling blocks of them that work iniquity.
Guárdame de las trampas que me tendieron Y de las trampas de los que cometen iniquidad.
10 Sinners shall fall by their own net: I am alone until I shall escape.
Que los perversos caigan en sus propias redes Mientras yo paso con seguridad.
