Psalms 140
1 For the end, a Psalm of David. Rescue me, O Lord, from the evil man; deliver me from the unjust man.
Wuta na buku ya mokambi ya bayembi. Nzembo ya Davidi. Yawe, kangola ngai wuta na maboko ya bato ya misala mabe! Kokutanisa ngai te na bato na kanza.
2 Who have devised injustice in their hearts; all the day they prepared war.
Basalaka mabongisi mabe kati na mitema na bango mpe balukaka bitumba mikolo nyonso.
3 They have sharpened their tongue as [the tongue] of a serpent; the poison of asps is under their lips. (Pause)
Bapelisaka lolemo na bango lokola nyoka, bibebu na bango ezali na ngenge ya etupa.
4 Keep me, O Lord, from the hand of the sinner; rescue me from unjust men; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.
Yawe, batela ngai mosika ya maboko ya moto mabe; kokutanisa ngai te na bato na kanza oyo bazali kosala mabongisi ya kokweyisa ngai!
5 The proud have hid a snare for me, and have stretched out ropes [for] snares for my feet; they set a stumbling block for me near the path. (Pause)
Bato ya lofundu batieli ngai mitambo, batandi basinga ya minyama na nzela mpe batimoli mabulu mpo na kokanga ngai.
6 I said to the Lord, You are my God; listen, O Lord, to the voice of my supplication.
Nalobaka na Yawe: « Ozali Nzambe na ngai! » Yawe, yoka mabondeli na ngai.
7 O Lord God, the strength of my salvation; you have screened my head in the day of battle.
Oh Yawe, Nkolo na ngai, ozali makasi ya lobiko na ngai, obatelaka moto na ngai kati na mokolo ya etumba.
8 Deliver me not, O Lord, to the sinner, according to my desire: they have devised [mischief] against me; forsake me not, lest they should be exalted. (Pause)
Yawe, kokokisa te posa ya moto mabe, kolongisa te mabongisi na ye, noki te akokoma lolendo.
9 [As for] the head of them that compass me, the mischief of their lips shall cover them.
Tika ete pasi oyo bibebu na bango esili kobongisa ekweyela bato oyo bazingeli ngai.
10 Coals of fire shall fall upon them on the earth; and you shall cast them down in afflictions: they shall not bear up [under them].
Tika ete makala ya moto esopanela bango! Tika ete Nzambe atindika bango kati na moto, kati na mabulu ya potopoto epai wapi bakokoka kotelema lisusu te!
11 A talkative man shall not prosper on the earth: evils shall hunt the unrighteous man to destruction.
Batioli bakowumela te kati na mokili, pasi ekolanda bato na kanza na kolemba te.
12 I know that the Lord will maintain the cause of the poor, and the right of the needy ones.
Nayebi ete Yawe akotaka makambo ya babola mpe alongisaka bato oyo bakelela.
13 Surely the righteous shall give thanks to your name: the upright shall dwell in your presence.
Solo, bato ya sembo bakosanzola Kombo na Yo, bato ya alima bakovanda liboso na Yo.
