< Psalms 139 >
1 For the end, a Psalm of David. O Lord, you have proved me, and known me.
MAING, Ieowa, kom kotin kadiarokada lol i, ap kotin mangi ia.
2 You know my down-sitting and mine up-rising: you understand my thoughts long before.
Kom pil kotin mangi ma i momod de uda, ap kotin mangi ai lamelam ni ar kotin doo sang ia.
3 You have traced my path and my bed, and have foreseen all my ways.
Ir me kotin kupura ia ni ai potopoto sili, o ni ai wonon, ap kotin mangi ai tiak kan karos.
4 For there is no unrighteous word in my tongue: behold, O Lord, you have known all things,
Melel Maing Ieowa, sota ai poto sang ni lo i, me kom sota kotin mangi.
5 the last and the first: you have fashioned me, and laid your hand upon me.
Kom kin kotin ieiang ia wasa karos, o kom kin kapado lim omui po i.
6 The knowledge of you is too wonderful for me; it is very difficult, I can’t [attain] to it.
Mepukat meid kapuriamui ong ia, meid apwal, i sota kak dedeki.
7 Whither shall I go from your Spirit? and whither shall I flee from my presence?
Ia wasa, i pan kak ko sang mon ngen ar ia? O ia wasa, i pan kak piti sang silang ar ia?
8 If I should go up to heaven, you are there: if I should go down to hell, you are present. (Sheol )
Ma i piridala nanlang, kom kotikot wasa o, o ma i onop ong wendi nan wasan mela, kom pil kotikot ia. (Sheol )
9 If I should spread my wings [to fly] straight forward, and sojourn at the extremity of the sea, [it would be vain],
10 for even there your hand would guide me, and your right hand would hold me.
Lim ar pil pan kare ia wasa o, o lim ar maun pan kolekol ia.
11 When I said, Surely the darkness will cover me; even the night [was] light in my luxury.
12 For darkness will not be darkness with you; but night will be light as day: as its darkness, so shall its light [be to you].
Pwe rotorot so kin rotorot mo omui, o pong kin marain dueta nin ran, rotorot kin dueta marain.
13 For you, O Lord, have possessed my reins; you have helped me from my mother's womb.
14 I will give you thanks; for you are fearfully wondrous; wondrous are your works; and my soul knows [it] well.
I danke komui, duen kapuriamui en ai wiaui ia da, meid kapuriamui sapwilim ar dodok kan, ngen i pil dedeki melel mepukat.
15 My bones, which you made in secret were not hidden from you, nor my substance, in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unwrought [substance], and all [men] shall be written in your book; they shall be formed by day, though [there should for a time] be no one among them.
Silang ir mangi ia ni ai saikenta wiauier, o ran karos me kokodo, ap saikenta mia, me kileledier nan sapwilim omui puk o.
17 But your friends, O God, have been greatly honored by me; their rule has been greatly strengthened.
Maing Kot, meid kasampwal ong ia duen meakan karos, me komui kin kupukupura!
18 I will number them, and they shall be multiplied beyond the sand; I awake, and am still with you.
Ma i pan wadok ir, i sota pan kak ong, pwe re me toto sang pik en oror, ni ai pirida, i kin mimieta re omui.
19 Oh that you would kill the wicked, O God; depart from me, you men of blood.
O Maing Kot, kom sota men kamela me doo sang Kot akan; o me kin inong iong nta, en muei sang ia!
20 For you will say concerning [their] thought, [that] they shall take your cities in vain.
Pwe re kin lokaia sued duen komui, o sapwilim omui imwintiti kan kin kangudi ni sokarepa.
21 Have I not hated them, O Lord, that hate you? and wasted away because of your enemies?
I kin kailongki, Maing Ieowa, me kin kailongki komui, o i suedeki ar palian komui.
22 I have hated them with perfect hatred; they were counted my enemies.
I kin kailong kin ir melel, re wialar ai imwintiti.
23 Prove me, O God, and know my heart; examine me, and know my paths;
Maing Kot, kom kotin kasaui ia, o mangi duen mongiong i, kotin rapaki duen me i kin lamelame.
24 and see if [there is any] way of iniquity in me, and lead me in an everlasting way.
