< Psalms 139 >

1 For the end, a Psalm of David. O Lord, you have proved me, and known me.
O Pakai nangin kalungthim nakholchil in neihechen sohkeitan ahi.’
2 You know my down-sitting and mine up-rising: you understand my thoughts long before.
Nangin katouthimpet hihen, kadindoh pet hijongle nahei. Gamlhatah a kaum jeng vang'in nangin kalunggel ngaito jouse nahei.
3 You have traced my path and my bed, and have foreseen all my ways.
Kakholjinpet hihen, in na katouthimpet hijongleh nangin neimun ahi, chuleh kabol jouse nahesoh kei e.
4 For there is no unrighteous word in my tongue: behold, O Lord, you have known all things,
Pakai kathusei got jonghi kasei masangin nahejitai.
5 the last and the first: you have fashioned me, and laid your hand upon me.
Kamasanga nachen, kanunga jong neijuijin ahi, naphatthei bohna khutchu kaluchungah nangam’in ahi.
6 The knowledge of you is too wonderful for me; it is very difficult, I can’t [attain] to it.
Hitobang hetna hi keidingin akidang val in, chuleh hitobang hatchet dinghi keidingin ahahsaval e.
7 Whither shall I go from your Spirit? and whither shall I flee from my presence?
Nalhagaova kon a iti kajam mang thei dingham? Nanga kon a keima iti kajam mang theiding ham?
8 If I should go up to heaven, you are there: if I should go down to hell, you are present. (Sheol h7585)
Keima van'a kaltou jongleng nangma naum in, mithigam ah lutjong leng nangma naum e. (Sheol h7585)
9 If I should spread my wings [to fly] straight forward, and sojourn at the extremity of the sea, [it would be vain],
Keima jingkah lhaving in lengdoh ingting twikhanglen gallang peh’a gacheng jong leng,
10 for even there your hand would guide me, and your right hand would hold me.
hichemun jenga jong chun nakhut in neikai hoi in natin nathahatm in nei dom in nate.
11 When I said, Surely the darkness will cover me; even the night [was] light in my luxury.
Keiman muthim jah’a neisel in tijongleng chuleh kavel a vahjeng jong muthim sosah jongleng,
12 For darkness will not be darkness with you; but night will be light as day: as its darkness, so shall its light [be to you].
muthimlah’a kiseljing jongleng nanga kon a kakisel mangthei louding ahi. Ajeh chu nang dingin ajing jongchu sun banga vahding ahi. Muthimleh vah jong nangdingin thakhat ahibouve.
13 For you, O Lord, have possessed my reins; you have helped me from my mother's womb.
Nangin ka oisung a thil umjuse jong najopmat mat mat a kanu naobu sunga neigontoh ahi.
14 I will give you thanks; for you are fearfully wondrous; wondrous are your works; and my soul knows [it] well.
Hitobanga thil kidangtah’a neina gontoh jeh’in kathangvah’e! Nanatoh nathilbol danhi datmo umtah ahi ti kalungthim apumpin kahe them e.
15 My bones, which you made in secret were not hidden from you, nor my substance, in the lowest parts of the earth.
Keima jatchombeh’a kanu naobu muthimlah’a eina kigontoh jeng jongchun nangman neinavesui jingin ahi.
16 Your eyes saw my unwrought [substance], and all [men] shall be written in your book; they shall be formed by day, though [there should for a time] be no one among them.
Kapen lhah masang a nangman neinamusa ahitai, nitin kahinkhoa ka kimanchah na ding daan, phatche dungjui a ana kigongtoh chu nikhatcha jengjong achelhah masanga nalekhabua ana kigoltohsa ahitai.
17 But your friends, O God, have been greatly honored by me; their rule has been greatly strengthened.
O Pakai kachung changa nalunggel nathilgon tohsaho chu iti mantam a hitam simjoujai ahipoi!
18 I will number them, and they shall be multiplied beyond the sand; I awake, and am still with you.
Asim jengjong keijo chi ahipoi, neldi halsiho sang in jong atamjoi. Kahung khahdoh gei injong nangin neina umpi jing nalai e!
19 Oh that you would kill the wicked, O God; depart from me, you men of blood.
O Pathen miphalouho hi nasuhmang hitavele ong! Tolthat ho kahinkhoa kon in potdoh’un.
20 For you will say concerning [their] thought, [that] they shall take your cities in vain.
Amahohin na suminseu ve, nagalmi hohin namin hi asamseu ve.
21 Have I not hated them, O Lord, that hate you? and wasted away because of your enemies?
O Pakai nangma nahotbolte hohi keiman jong kahot louding ham? Nangma nadouho hi kenjong kathet louding ham?
22 I have hated them with perfect hatred; they were counted my enemies.
Ahinai, nangman nathetho hi keiman pumthetna kathet ding ahi, ajeh chu nangma galmi ho chu keima galmi ho ahiuve.
23 Prove me, O God, and know my heart; examine me, and know my paths;
O Pakai neikhol chil in kalung neihet peh in; neipatep inlang kahina hi kilandoh sah sohtan.
24 and see if [there is any] way of iniquity in me, and lead me in an everlasting way.
Kasunga hi nangma douva thilse umnalai am nei kodoh peh inlang tonsot lompi a neipui tan.
