Psalms 138

1 A Psalm for David, of Aggaeus and Zacharias. I will give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart; and I will sing psalms to you before the angels; for you have heard all the words of my mouth.

David ƒe ha. O! Yehowa, makafu wò kple nye dzi blibo; madzi wò kafukafuha le mawuwo ŋkume.

2 I will worship toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your name, on account of your mercy and your truth; for you have magnified your holy name above every thing.

Made ta agu do ɖe wò gbedoxɔ kɔkɔe la gbɔ, eye makafu wò ŋkɔ, le wò lɔlɔ̃ kple nuteƒewɔwɔ ta, elabena èkɔ, wò ŋkɔ kple wò nya gbɔ nu sia nu ta sãsãsã.

3 In whatever day I shall call upon you, hear me speedily; you shall abundantly provide me with your power in my soul.

Ètɔ nam esi meyɔ wò, eye nède dzi ƒo nam, hedo ŋusẽ nye dzi.

4 Let all the kings of the earth, o Lord, give thanks to you; for they have heard all the words of your mouth.

O! Yehowa, anyigbadzifiawo katã akafu wò, ne wose wò numenya.

5 And let them sing in the ways of the Lord; for great is the glory of the Lord.

Na woadzi ha le Yehowa ƒe mɔwo ŋu, elabena Yehowa ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe lolo.

6 For the Lord is high, and [yet] regards the lowly; and he knows high things from afar off.

Togbɔ be Yehowa le dzi me ke hã la, ekpɔa ame dahewo gbɔ, ke edzea si dadala tso adzɔge.

7 Though I should walk in the midst of affliction, you will quicken me; you have stretched forth your hands against the wrath of mine enemies, and your right hand has saved me.

Togbɔ be mele zɔzɔm le xaxa me hã la, èkpɔ nye agbe ta, eye nèkɔ wò asi dzi do ɖe nye futɔwo ƒe dɔmedzoe ŋu, hetsɔ wò nuɖusi xɔ nam.

8 O Lord, you shall recompense [them] on my behalf: your mercy, O Lord, [endures] for ever: overlook not the works of your hands.

Yehowa ana eƒe ta me si wòɖo ɖe ŋunye la nava eme. O! Yehowa, wò lɔlɔ̃ li ɖaa, mègagblẽ wò asinudɔwɔwɔwo ɖi o.
