Psalms 132
1 A Song of Degrees. Lord, remember David, and all his meekness:
একটি আরোহণ সংগীত। হে সদাপ্রভু, দাউদকে আর তার সব আত্মত্যাগ মনে রেখো।
2 how he sware to the Lord, [and] vowed to the God of Jacob, [saying],
তিনি সদাপ্রভুর কাছে এক শপথ করেছিলেন, তিনি যাকোবের পরাক্রমী ব্যক্তির কাছে মানত করেছিলেন:
3 I will not go into the tabernacle of my house; I will not go up to the couch of my bed;
“আমি নিজের গৃহে প্রবেশ করব না অথবা নিজের বিছানায় শয়ন করব না,
4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes, nor slumber to mine eyelids, nor rest to my temples,
আমি নিজের চোখে ঘুম আসতে দেব না অথবা চোখের পাতায় তন্দ্রা আসতে দেব না,
5 until I find a place for the Lord, a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.
যতদিন না পর্যন্ত আমি সদাপ্রভুর জন্য এক স্থান, যাকোবের পরাক্রমী ব্যক্তির জন্য এক আবাস খুঁজে পাই।”
6 Behold, we heard of it in Ephratha; we found it in the fields of the wood.
দেখো, আমরা ইফ্রাথায় তাঁর সংবাদ শুনেছিলাম জায়ারের ক্ষেতে তাঁর সন্ধান পেয়েছিলাম:
7 Let us enter into his tabernacles: let us worship at the place where his feet stood.
“চলো, আমরা তাঁর আবাসে যাই, তাঁর পাদপীঠে এই বলে আমরা তাঁর আরাধনা করি,
8 Arise, O Lord, into your rest; you, and the ark of your holiness.
‘হে সদাপ্রভু, ওঠো, আর তোমার বিশ্রামস্থানে এসো, তুমি ও তোমার পরাক্রমের সিন্দুক।
9 Your priests shall clothe themselves with righteousness; and your saints shall exult.
তোমার পুরোহিতবৃন্দ যেন তোমার ধার্মিকতায় বিভূষিত হয়, তোমার বিশ্বস্ত লোকেরা তোমার আনন্দগান করুক।’”
10 For the sake of your servant David turn not away the face of your anointed.
তোমার দাস দাউদের কারণে তোমার অভিষিক্ত ব্যক্তিকে পরিত্যাগ কোরো না।
11 The Lord sware [in] truth to David, and he will not annul it, [saying], Of the fruit of your body will I set [a king] upon your throne.
সদাপ্রভু দাউদের কাছে এক শপথ, এক সুনিশ্চিত শপথ করেছিলেন, যা তিনি ভাঙবেন না: “তোমার বংশে জাত এক সন্তানকে আমি তোমার সিংহাসনে বসাব।
12 If your children will deep my covenant, and these my testimonies which I shall teach them, their children also shall sit upon your throne for ever.
যদি তোমার সন্তানেরা আমার নিয়ম এবং বিধিবিধান মান্য করে যা আমি তাদের শিক্ষা দিয়েছি, তবে তাদের সন্তানেরা চিরকাল ধরে তোমার সিংহাসনে বসবে।”
13 For the Lord has elected Sion, he has chosen her for a habitation for himself, [saying],
সদাপ্রভু জেরুশালেমকে মনোনীত করেছেন, তিনি তাঁর নিবাসের জন্য তা এই বলে বাসনা করেছেন যে,
14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have chosen it.
“এই আমার চিরকালের বিশ্রামস্থান; আমি এই স্থানেই অধিষ্ঠিত রইব, কারণ আমি এই বাসনা করেছি।
15 I will surely bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
আমি এই স্থানকে আশীর্বাদ করব আর সমৃদ্ধশালী করব; তার দরিদ্রদের আমি খাবার দিয়ে পরিতৃপ্ত করব।
16 I will clothe her priests with salvation; and her saints shall greatly exult.
আমি তার যাজকদের পরিত্রাণ দিয়ে আবৃত করব, আর তার বিশ্বস্ত দাসেরা আনন্দগান গাইবে।
17 There will I cause to spring up a horn to David: I have prepared a lamp for mine anointed.
“আমি এখানে দাউদের জন্য এক শিং উত্থাপন করব এবং আমার অভিষিক্ত ব্যক্তির জন্য একটি প্রদীপ জ্বেলে দেবো।
18 His enemies will I clothe with a shame; but upon himself shall my holiness flourish.
আমি তাঁর শত্রুদের লজ্জায় আবৃত করব, কিন্তু তাঁর মাথা উজ্জ্বল মুকুটে সুশোভিত হবে।”
