Psalms 131

1 A Song of Degrees. O Lord, my heart is not exalted, neither have mine eyes been [haughtily] raised: neither have I exercised myself in great [matters], nor in things too wonderful for me.

೧ಯಾತ್ರಾಗೀತೆ; ದಾವೀದನದು. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗರ್ವವಿಲ್ಲ; ನನಗೆ ಸೊಕ್ಕಿನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಲ್ಲ; ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೈಹಾಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

2 [I shall have sinned] if I have not been humble, but have exulted my soul: according to [the relation of] a weaned child to his mother, so will you recompense my soul.

೨ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಾನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ತಾಯಿಯ ಮಡಿಲಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮೊಲೆಬಿಡಿಸಿದ ಕೂಸಿನಂತೆ, ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮೊಲೆಬಿಡಿಸಿದ ಕೂಸಿನಂತೆ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯಿಂದಿದೆ.

3 Let Israel hope in the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.

೩ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲೇ, ಇಂದಿನಿಂದ ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನೇ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರು.
