< Psalms 131 >
1 A Song of Degrees. O Lord, my heart is not exalted, neither have mine eyes been [haughtily] raised: neither have I exercised myself in great [matters], nor in things too wonderful for me.
Kathutkung: Devit Oe BAWIPA, kai teh ka pouknae rasang hoeh, ka mit hai kâ rasang hoeh, kai hanelah kalenpounge hno hoi, ka ru poung e hno dawk ka nuen hoeh.
2 [I shall have sinned] if I have not been humble, but have exulted my soul: according to [the relation of] a weaned child to his mother, so will you recompense my soul.
Atangcalah, kai teh sanu pâphei e camo patetlah, ka lungroum teh, ka lungthin teh sanu pâphei e camo patetlah ao.
3 Let Israel hope in the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.
