Psalms 125

1 A Song of Degrees. They that trust in the Lord [shall be] as mount Sion: he that dwells in Jerusalem shall never be moved.

१दाऊद की यात्रा का गीत जो यहोवा पर भरोसा रखते हैं, वे सिय्योन पर्वत के समान हैं, जो टलता नहीं, वरन् सदा बना रहता है।

2 The mountains are round about her, and [so] the Lord is round about his people, from henceforth and even for ever.

२जिस प्रकार यरूशलेम के चारों ओर पहाड़ हैं, उसी प्रकार यहोवा अपनी प्रजा के चारों ओर अब से लेकर सर्वदा तक बना रहेगा।

3 For the Lord will not allow the rod of sinners to be upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous should stretch forth their hands to iniquity.

३दुष्टों का राजदण्ड धर्मियों के भाग पर बना न रहेगा, ऐसा न हो कि धर्मी अपने हाथ कुटिल काम की ओर बढ़ाएँ।

4 Do good, O Lord, to them [that are] good, and to them [that are] upright in heart.

४हे यहोवा, भलों का और सीधे मनवालों का भला कर!

5 But them that turn aside to crooked ways the Lord will lead away with the workers of iniquity: [but] peace [shall be] upon Israel.

५परन्तु जो मुड़कर टेढ़े मार्गों में चलते हैं, उनको यहोवा अनर्थकारियों के संग निकाल देगा! इस्राएल को शान्ति मिले!
