< Psalms 123 >
1 A Song of Degrees. To you who dwell in heaven have I lifted up mine eyes.
Nkunga wunyimbudulu mu nzila yikuendila ku nzo Yave. Ndimvumbula meso mama kuidi ngeyo Yave ngeyo beki kundu kiaku ki Kipfumu mu diyilu.
2 Behold, as the eyes of servants [are directed] to the hands of their masters, [and] as the eyes of a maidservant to the hands of her mistress; so our eyes [are directed] to the Lord our God, until he have mercy upon us.
Banga meso ma bavika meti tala mioko mi bapfumu bawu; banga meso ma kisadi kinketo mantalanga mioko mi pfumu andi wu nketo; buawu bobo meso meto mantadilanga kuidi Yave, Nzambi eto, nate kela kutumona kiadi.
3 Have pity upon us, O Lord, have pity upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
Wutumoni kiadi, a Yave, wutumoni kiadi bila nlenzo wuwombo tutambudi.
4 [Yes], our soul has been exceedingly filled [with it]: [let] the reproach [be] to them that are at ease, and contempt to the proud.
Mvuezolo wuwombo tutambula kuidi bankua luniemo; nlenzo wuwombo kuidi bankua lunangu.
