Psalms 123

1 A Song of Degrees. To you who dwell in heaven have I lifted up mine eyes.

登聖殿歌。居住在諸天上的大主，我向你仰起我的眼目。

2 Behold, as the eyes of servants [are directed] to the hands of their masters, [and] as the eyes of a maidservant to the hands of her mistress; so our eyes [are directed] to the Lord our God, until he have mercy upon us.

看，僕人的眼目，怎樣仰望主人的手，看，婢女的眼目，怎樣注視主婦的手；我們的眼目也就怎樣注視著上主，我們的天主，直到他憐憫我們才止。

3 Have pity upon us, O Lord, have pity upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.

上主，求你矜憐，矜憐我們！因為我們已嘗盡了欺凌；

4 [Yes], our soul has been exceedingly filled [with it]: [let] the reproach [be] to them that are at ease, and contempt to the proud.

我們的心靈已經飽受得太多了：即驕傲人的欺凌，富貴人的恥笑。
