1 Alleluia. Blessed are the blameless in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
Alleluja. [Aleph Beati immaculati in via, qui ambulant in lege Domini.
2 Blessed are they that search out his testimonies: they will diligently seek him with the whole heart.
Beati qui scrutantur testimonia ejus; in toto corde exquirunt eum.
3 For they that work iniquity have not walked in his ways.
Non enim qui operantur iniquitatem in viis ejus ambulaverunt.
4 You have commanded [us] diligently to keep your precepts.
Tu mandasti mandata tua custodiri nimis.
5 O that my ways were directed to keep your ordinances.
Utinam dirigantur viæ meæ ad custodiendas justificationes tuas.
6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect to all your commandments.
Tunc non confundar, cum perspexero in omnibus mandatis tuis.
7 I will give you thanks with uprightness of heart, when I have learned the judgments of your righteousness.
Confitebor tibi in directione cordis, in eo quod didici judicia justitiæ tuæ.
8 I will keep your ordinances: O forsake me not greatly.
Justificationes tuas custodiam; non me derelinquas usquequaque.
9 Wherewith shall a young man direct his way? by keeping your words.
Beth In quo corrigit adolescentior viam suam? in custodiendo sermones tuos.
10 With my whole heart have I diligently sought you: cast me not away from your commandments.
In toto corde meo exquisivi te; ne repellas me a mandatis tuis.
11 I have hidden your oracles in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
In corde meo abscondi eloquia tua, ut non peccem tibi.
12 Blessed are you, O Lord: teach me your ordinances.
Benedictus es, Domine; doce me justificationes tuas.
13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of your mouth.
In labiis meis pronuntiavi omnia judicia oris tui.
14 I have delighted in the way of your testimonies, [as much] as in all riches.
In via testimoniorum tuorum delectatus sum, sicut in omnibus divitiis.
15 I will meditate on your commandments, and consider your ways.
In mandatis tuis exercebor, et considerabo vias tuas.
16 I will meditate on your ordinances: I will not forget your words.
In justificationibus tuis meditabor: non obliviscar sermones tuos.
17 Render a recompense to your servant: [so] shall I live, and keep your words.
Ghimel Retribue servo tuo, vivifica me, et custodiam sermones tuos.
18 Unveil you mine eyes, and I shall perceive wondrous things of your law.
Revela oculos meos, et considerabo mirabilia de lege tua.
19 I am a stranger in the earth: hide not your commandments from me.
Incola ego sum in terra: non abscondas a me mandata tua.
20 My soul has longed exceedingly for your judgments at all times.
Concupivit anima mea desiderare justificationes tuas in omni tempore.
21 You have rebuked the proud: cursed are they that turn aside from your commandments.
Increpasti superbos; maledicti qui declinant a mandatis tuis.
22 Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have sought out your testimonies.
Aufer a me opprobrium et contemptum, quia testimonia tua exquisivi.
23 For princes sat and spoke against me: but your servant was meditating on your ordinances.
Etenim sederunt principes, et adversum me loquebantur; servus autem tuus exercebatur in justificationibus tuis.
24 For your testimonies are my (meditation) and your ordinances are my counselors.
Nam et testimonia tua meditatio mea est, et consilium meum justificationes tuæ.
25 My soul has cleaved to the ground; quicken you me according to your word.
Daleth Adhæsit pavimento anima mea: vivifica me secundum verbum tuum.
26 I declared my ways, and you did hear me: teach me your ordinances.
Vias meas enuntiavi, et exaudisti me; doce me justificationes tuas.
27 Instruct me in the way of your ordinances; and I will meditate on your wondrous works.
Viam justificationum tuarum instrue me, et exercebor in mirabilibus tuis.
28 My soul has slumbered for sorrow; strengthen you me with your words.
Dormitavit anima mea præ tædio: confirma me in verbis tuis.
29 Remove from me the way of iniquity; and be merciful to me by your law.
Viam iniquitatis amove a me, et de lege tua miserere mei.
30 I have chosen the way of truth; and have not forgotten your judgments.
Viam veritatis elegi; judicia tua non sum oblitus.
31 I have cleaved to your testimonies, O Lord; put me not to shame.
Adhæsi testimoniis tuis, Domine; noli me confundere.
32 I ran the way of your commandments, when you did enlarge my heart.
Viam mandatorum tuorum cucurri, cum dilatasti cor meum.
33 Teach me, O Lord, the way of your ordinances, and I will seek it out continually.
He Legem pone mihi, Domine, viam justificationum tuarum, et exquiram eam semper.
34 Instruct me, and I will search out your law, and will keep it with my whole heart.
Da mihi intellectum, et scrutabor legem tuam, et custodiam illam in toto corde meo.
35 Guide me in the path of your commandments; for I have delighted in it.
Deduc me in semitam mandatorum tuorum, quia ipsam volui.
36 Incline mine heart to your testimonies, and not to covetousness.
Inclina cor meum in testimonia tua, et non in avaritiam.
37 Turn away mine eyes that I may not behold vanity: quicken you me in your way.
Averte oculos meos, ne videant vanitatem; in via tua vivifica me.
38 Confirm your oracle to your servant, that he may fear you.
Statue servo tuo eloquium tuum in timore tuo.
39 Take away my reproach which I have feared: for your judgments are good.
Amputa opprobrium meum quod suspicatus sum, quia judicia tua jucunda.
40 Behold, I have desired your commandments: quicken me in your righteousness.
Ecce concupivi mandata tua: in æquitate tua vivifica me.
41 And let your mercy come upon me, O Lord; [even] your salvation, according to your word.
Vau Et veniat super me misericordia tua, Domine; salutare tuum secundum eloquium tuum.
42 And [so] I shall render an answer to them that reproach me: for I have trusted in your words.
Et respondebo exprobrantibus mihi verbum, quia speravi in sermonibus tuis.
43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in your judgments. So shall I keep your law continually, for ever and ever.
Et ne auferas de ore meo verbum veritatis usquequaque, quia in judiciis tuis supersperavi.
Et custodiam legem tuam semper, in sæculum et in sæculum sæculi.
45 I walked also at large: for I sought out your commandments.
Et ambulabam in latitudine, quia mandata tua exquisivi.
46 And I spoke of your testimonies before kings, and was not ashamed.
Et loquebar in testimoniis tuis in conspectu regum, et non confundebar.
47 And I meditated on your commandments, which I loved exceedingly.
Et meditabar in mandatis tuis, quæ dilexi.
48 And I lifted up my hands to your commandments which I loved; and I meditated in your ordinances.
Et levavi manus meas ad mandata tua, quæ dilexi, et exercebar in justificationibus tuis.
49 Remember your words to your servant, wherein you have made me hope.
Zain Memor esto verbi tui servo tuo, in quo mihi spem dedisti.
50 This has comforted me in mine affliction: for your oracle has quickened me.
Hæc me consolata est in humilitate mea, quia eloquium tuum vivificavit me.
51 The proud have transgressed exceedingly; but I swerved not from your law.
Superbi inique agebant usquequaque; a lege autem tua non declinavi.
52 I remembered your judgments of old, O Lord; and was comforted.
Memor fui judiciorum tuorum a sæculo, Domine, et consolatus sum.
53 Despair took hold upon me, because of the sinners who forsake your law.
Defectio tenuit me, pro peccatoribus derelinquentibus legem tuam.
54 Your ordinances were my songs in the place of my sojourning.
Cantabiles mihi erant justificationes tuæ in loco peregrinationis meæ.
55 I remembered your name, O Lord, in the night, and kept your law.
Memor fui nocte nominis tui, Domine, et custodivi legem tuam.
56 This I had, because I diligently sought your ordinances.
Hæc facta est mihi, quia justificationes tuas exquisivi.
57 You are my portion, O Lord: I said that I would keep your law.
Heth Portio mea, Domine, dixi custodire legem tuam.
58 I implored your favor with my whole heart: have mercy upon me according to your word.
Deprecatus sum faciem tuam in toto corde meo; miserere mei secundum eloquium tuum.
59 I thought on your ways, and turned my feet to your testimonies.
Cogitavi vias meas, et converti pedes meos in testimonia tua.
60 I prepared myself, (and was not terrified, ) to keep your commandments.
Paratus sum, et non sum turbatus, ut custodiam mandata tua.
61 The snares of sinners entangled me: but I forgot not your law.
Funes peccatorum circumplexi sunt me, et legem tuam non sum oblitus.
62 At midnight I arose, to give thanks to you for the judgments of your righteousness.
Media nocte surgebam ad confitendum tibi, super judicia justificationis tuæ.
63 I am a companion of all them that fear you, and of them that keep your commandments.
Particeps ego sum omnium timentium te, et custodientium mandata tua.
64 O Lord, the earth is full of your mercy: teach me your ordinances.
Misericordia tua, Domine, plena est terra; justificationes tuas doce me.
65 You have wrought kindly with your servant, o Lord, according to your word.
Teth Bonitatem fecisti cum servo tuo, Domine, secundum verbum tuum.
66 Teach me kindness, and instruction, and knowledge: for I have believed your commandments.
Bonitatem, et disciplinam, et scientiam doce me, quia mandatis tuis credidi.
67 Before I was afflicted, I transgressed; therefore have I kept your word.
Priusquam humiliarer ego deliqui: propterea eloquium tuum custodivi.
68 Good are you, O Lord; therefore in your goodness teach me your ordinances.
Bonus es tu, et in bonitate tua doce me justificationes tuas.
69 The injustice of the proud has been multiplied against me: but I will search out your commandments with all my heart.
Multiplicata est super me iniquitas superborum; ego autem in toto corde meo scrutabor mandata tua.
70 Their heart has been curdled like milk; but I have meditated on your law.
Coagulatum est sicut lac cor eorum; ego vero legem tuam meditatus sum.
71 [It is] good for me that you have afflicted me; that I might learn your ordinances.
Bonum mihi quia humiliasti me, ut discam justificationes tuas.
72 The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.
Bonum mihi lex oris tui, super millia auri et argenti.
73 Your hands have made me, and fashioned me: instruct me, that I may learn your commandments.
Jod Manus tuæ fecerunt me, et plasmaverunt me: da mihi intellectum, et discam mandata tua.
74 They that fear you will see me and rejoice: for I have hoped in your words.
Qui timent te videbunt me et lætabuntur, quia in verba tua supersperavi.
75 I know, O Lord, that your judgments are righteousness, and [that] you in truthfulness have afflicted me.
Cognovi, Domine, quia æquitas judicia tua, et in veritate tua humiliasti me.
76 Let, I pray you, your mercy be to comfort me, according to your word to your servant.
Fiat misericordia tua ut consoletur me, secundum eloquium tuum servo tuo.
77 Let your compassions come to me, that I may live: for your law is my (meditation)
Veniant mihi miserationes tuæ, et vivam, quia lex tua meditatio mea est.
78 Let the proud be ashamed; for they transgressed against me unjustly: but I will meditate in your commandments.
Confundantur superbi, quia injuste iniquitatem fecerunt in me; ego autem exercebor in mandatis tuis.
79 Let those that fear you, and those that know your testimonies, turn to me.
Convertantur mihi timentes te, et qui noverunt testimonia tua.
80 Let mine heart be blameless in your ordinances, that I may not be ashamed.
Fiat cor meum immaculatum in justificationibus tuis, ut non confundar.
81 My soul faints for your salvation: I have hoped in your words.
Caph Defecit in salutare tuum anima mea, et in verbum tuum supersperavi.
82 Mine eyes failed [in waiting] for your word, saying, When will you comfort me?
Defecerunt oculi mei in eloquium tuum, dicentes: Quando consolaberis me?
83 For I am become as a bottle in the frost: [yet] I have not forgotten your ordinances.
Quia factus sum sicut uter in pruina; justificationes tuas non sum oblitus.
84 How many are the days of your servant? when will you execute judgment for me on them that persecute me?
Quot sunt dies servi tui? quando facies de persequentibus me judicium?
85 Transgressors told me [idle tales]; but not according to your law, O Lord.
Narraverunt mihi iniqui fabulationes, sed non ut lex tua.
86 All your commandments are truth; they persecuted me unjustly; help you me.
Omnia mandata tua veritas: inique persecuti sunt me, adjuva me.
87 They nearly made an end of me in the earth; but I forsook not your commandments.
Paulominus consummaverunt me in terra; ego autem non dereliqui mandata tua.
88 Quicken me according to your mercy; so shall I keep the testimonies of your mouth.
Secundum misericordiam tuam vivifica me, et custodiam testimonia oris tui.
89 Your word, O Lord, abides in heaven for ever.
Lamed In æternum, Domine, verbum tuum permanet in cælo.
90 Your truth [endures] to all generations; you have founded the earth, and it abides.
In generationem et generationem veritas tua; fundasti terram, et permanet.
91 The day continues by your arrangement; for all things are your servants.
Ordinatione tua perseverat dies, quoniam omnia serviunt tibi.
92 Were it not that your law is my (meditation) then I should have perished in mine affliction.
Nisi quod lex tua meditatio mea est, tunc forte periissem in humilitate mea.
93 I will never forget your ordinances; for with them you have quickened me.
In æternum non obliviscar justificationes tuas, quia in ipsis vivificasti me.
94 I am your, save me; for I have sought out your ordinances.
Tuus sum ego; salvum me fac: quoniam justificationes tuas exquisivi.
95 Sinners laid wait for me to destroy me; [but] I understood your testimonies.
Me exspectaverunt peccatores ut perderent me; testimonia tua intellexi.
96 have seen an end of all perfection; [but] your commandment is very broad.
Omnis consummationis vidi finem, latum mandatum tuum nimis.
97 How I have loved your law, O Lord! it is my meditation all the day.
Mem Quomodo dilexi legem tuam, Domine! tota die meditatio mea est.
98 You have made me wiser than mine enemies [in] your commandment; for it is mine for ever.
Super inimicos meos prudentem me fecisti mandato tuo, quia in æternum mihi est.
99 I have more understanding than all my teachers; for your testimonies are my medication.
Super omnes docentes me intellexi, quia testimonia tua meditatio mea est.
100 I understand more that the aged; because I have sought out your commandments.
Super senes intellexi, quia mandata tua quæsivi.
101 I have kept back my feet from every evil way, that I might keep your words.
Ab omni via mala prohibui pedes meos, ut custodiam verba tua.
102 I have not declined from your judgments; for you have instructed me.
A judiciis tuis non declinavi, quia tu legem posuisti mihi.
103 How sweet are your oracles to my throat! more so than honey to my mouth!
Quam dulcia faucibus meis eloquia tua! super mel ori meo.
104 I gain understanding by your commandments: therefore I have hated every way of unrighteousness.
A mandatis tuis intellexi; propterea odivi omnem viam iniquitatis.
105 Your law is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my paths.
Nun Lucerna pedibus meis verbum tuum, et lumen semitis meis.
106 I have sworn and determined to keep the judgments of your righteousness.
Juravi et statui custodire judicia justitiæ tuæ.
107 I have been very greatly afflicted, O Lord: quicken me, according to your word.
Humiliatus sum usquequaque, Domine; vivifica me secundum verbum tuum.
108 Accept, I pray you, O Lord, the free will offerings of my mouth, and teach me your judgments.
Voluntaria oris mei beneplacita fac, Domine, et judicia tua doce me.
109 My soul is continually in your hands; and I have not forgotten your law.
Anima mea in manibus meis semper, et legem tuam non sum oblitus.
110 Sinners spread a snare for me; but I erred not from your commandments.
Posuerunt peccatores laqueum mihi, et de mandatis tuis non erravi.
111 I have inherited your testimonies for ever; for they are the joy of my heart.
Hæreditate acquisivi testimonia tua in æternum, quia exsultatio cordis mei sunt.
112 I have inclined my heart to perform your ordinances for ever, in return [for your mercies].
Inclinavi cor meum ad faciendas justificationes tuas in æternum, propter retributionem.
113 I have hated transgressors; but I have loved your law.
Samech Iniquos odio habui, et legem tuam dilexi.
114 You are my helper and my supporter; I have hoped in your words.
Adjutor et susceptor meus es tu, et in verbum tuum supersperavi.
115 Depart from me, you evil-doers; for I will search out the commandments of my God.
Declinate a me, maligni, et scrutabor mandata Dei mei.
116 Uphold me according to your word, and quicken me; and make me not ashamed of my expectation.
Suscipe me secundum eloquium tuum, et vivam, et non confundas me ab exspectatione mea.
117 Help me, and I shall be saved; and I will meditate in your ordinances continually.
Adjuva me, et salvus ero, et meditabor in justificationibus tuis semper.
118 You have brought to nothing all that depart from your ordinances; for their inward thought is unrighteous.
Sprevisti omnes discedentes a judiciis tuis, quia injusta cogitatio eorum.
119 I have reckoned all the sinners of the earth as transgressors; therefore have I loved your testimonies.
Prævaricantes reputavi omnes peccatores terræ; ideo dilexi testimonia tua.
120 Penetrate my flesh with your fear; for I am afraid of your judgments.
Confige timore tuo carnes meas; a judiciis enim tuis timui.
121 I have done judgment and justice; deliver me not up to them that injure me.
Ain Feci judicium et justitiam: non tradas me calumniantibus me.
122 Receive your servant for good: let not the proud accuse me falsely.
Suscipe servum tuum in bonum: non calumnientur me superbi.
123 Mine eyes have failed for your salvation, and for the word of your righteousness.
Oculi mei defecerunt in salutare tuum, et in eloquium justitiæ tuæ.
124 Deal with your servant according to your mercy, and teach me your ordinances.
Fac cum servo tuo secundum misericordiam tuam, et justificationes tuas doce me.
125 I am your servant; instruct me, and I shall know your testimonies.
Servus tuus sum ego: da mihi intellectum, ut sciam testimonia tua.
126 [It is] time for the Lord to work: they have utterly broken your law.
Tempus faciendi, Domine: dissipaverunt legem tuam.
127 Therefore have I loved your commandments more than gold, or the topaz.
Ideo dilexi mandata tua super aurum et topazion.
128 Therefore I directed myself [according] to all your commandments: I have hated every unjust way.
Propterea ad omnia mandata tua dirigebar; omnem viam iniquam odio habui.
129 Your testimonies are wonderful: therefore my soul has sought them out.
Phe Mirabilia testimonia tua: ideo scrutata est ea anima mea.
130 The manifestation of your words will enlighten, and instruct the simple.
Declaratio sermonum tuorum illuminat, et intellectum dat parvulis.
131 I opened my mouth, and drew breath: for I earnestly longed after your commandments.
Os meum aperui, et attraxi spiritum: quia mandata tua desiderabam.
132 Look upon me and have mercy upon me, after the manner of them that love your name.
Aspice in me, et miserere mei, secundum judicium diligentium nomen tuum.
133 Order my steps according to your word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Gressus meos dirige secundum eloquium tuum, et non dominetur mei omnis injustitia.
134 Deliver me from the false accusation of men: so will I keep your commandments.
Redime me a calumniis hominum ut custodiam mandata tua.
135 Cause your face to shine upon your servant: and teach me your ordinances.
Faciem tuam illumina super servum tuum, et doce me justificationes tuas.
136 Mine eyes have been bathed in streams of water, because I kept not your law.
Exitus aquarum deduxerunt oculi mei, quia non custodierunt legem tuam.
137 Righteous are you, O Lord, and upright are your judgments.
Sade Justus es, Domine, et rectum judicium tuum.
138 You has commanded righteousness and perfect truth, [as] your testimonies.
Mandasti justitiam testimonia tua, et veritatem tuam nimis.
139 Your zeal has quite wasted me: because mine enemies have forgotten your words.
Tabescere me fecit zelus meus, quia obliti sunt verba tua inimici mei.
140 Your word [has been] very fully tried; and your servant loves it.
Ignitum eloquium tuum vehementer, et servus tuus dilexit illud.
141 I am young and despised: [yet] I have not forgotten your ordinances.
Adolescentulus sum ego et contemptus; justificationes tuas non sum oblitus.
142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and your law is truth.
Justitia tua, justitia in æternum, et lex tua veritas.
143 Afflictions and distresses found me: [but] your commandments [were] my (meditation)
Tribulatio et angustia invenerunt me; mandata tua meditatio mea est.
144 Your testimonies [are] an everlasting righteousness: instruct me, and I shall live.
Æquitas testimonia tua in æternum: intellectum da mihi, et vivam.
145 I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O Lord: I will search out your ordinances.
Coph Clamavi in toto corde meo: exaudi me, Domine; justificationes tuas requiram.
146 I cried to you; save me, and I will keep your testimonies.
Clamavi ad te; salvum me fac: ut custodiam mandata tua.
147 I arose before the dawn, and cried: I hoped in your words.
Præveni in maturitate, et clamavi: quia in verba tua supersperavi.
148 Mine eyes prevented the dawn, that I might meditate on your oracles.
Prævenerunt oculi mei ad te diluculo, ut meditarer eloquia tua.
149 Hear my voice, O Lord, according to your mercy; quicken me according to your judgment.
Vocem meam audi secundum misericordiam tuam, Domine, et secundum judicium tuum vivifica me.
150 They have drawn near who persecuted me unlawfully; and they are far removed from your law.
Appropinquaverunt persequentes me iniquitati: a lege autem tua longe facti sunt.
151 You are near, O Lord; and all your ways are truth.
Prope es tu, Domine, et omnes viæ tuæ veritas.
152 I have known of old concerning your testimonies, that you have founded them for ever.
Initio cognovi de testimoniis tuis, quia in æternum fundasti ea.
153 Look upon mine affliction, and rescue me; for I have not forgotten your law.
Res Vide humilitatem meam, et eripe me, quia legem tuam non sum oblitus.
154 Plead my cause, and ransom me: quicken me because of your word.
Judica judicium meum, et redime me: propter eloquium tuum vivifica me.
155 Salvation is far from sinners: for they have not searched out your ordinances.
Longe a peccatoribus salus, quia justificationes tuas non exquisierunt.
156 Your mercies, O Lord, are many: quicken me according to your judgment.
Misericordiæ tuæ multæ, Domine; secundum judicium tuum vivifica me.
157 Many are they that persecute me and oppress me: [but] I have not declined from your testimonies.
Multi qui persequuntur me, et tribulant me; a testimoniis tuis non declinavi.
158 I saw men acting foolishly, and I pined away; for they kept not your oracles.
Vidi prævaricantes et tabescebam, quia eloquia tua non custodierunt.
159 Behold, I have loved your commandments, O Lord: quicken me in your mercy.
Vide quoniam mandata tua dilexi, Domine: in misericordia tua vivifica me.
160 The beginning of your words is truth; and all the judgments of your righteousness [endure] for ever.
Principium verborum tuorum veritas; in æternum omnia judicia justitiæ tuæ.
161 Princes persecuted me without a cause, but my heart feared because of your words.
Sin Principes persecuti sunt me gratis, et a verbis tuis formidavit cor meum.
162 I will exult because of your oracles, as one that finds much spoil.
Lætabor ego super eloquia tua, sicut qui invenit spolia multa.
163 I hate and abhor unrighteousness; but I love your law.
Iniquitatem odio habui, et abominatus sum, legem autem tuam dilexi.
164 Seven times in a day have I praised you because of the judgments of your righteousness.
Septies in die laudem dixi tibi, super judicia justitiæ tuæ.
165 Great peace have they that love your law: and there is no stumbling block to them.
Pax multa diligentibus legem tuam, et non est illis scandalum.
166 I waited for your salvation, O Lord, and have loved your commandments.
Exspectabam salutare tuum, Domine, et mandata tua dilexi.
167 My soul has kept your testimonies, and loved them exceedingly.
Custodivit anima mea testimonia tua, et dilexit ea vehementer.
168 I have kept your commandments and your testimonies; for all my ways are before you, O Lord.
Servavi mandata tua et testimonia tua, quia omnes viæ meæ in conspectu tuo.
169 Let my supplication come near before you, o Lord; instruct me according to your oracle.
Tau Appropinquet deprecatio mea in conspectu tuo, Domine; juxta eloquium tuum da mihi intellectum.
170 Let my petition come in before you, O Lord; deliver me according to your oracle.
Intret postulatio mea in conspectu tuo; secundum eloquium tuum eripe me.
171 Let my lips utter a hymn, when you shall have taught me your ordinances.
Eructabunt labia mea hymnum, cum docueris me justificationes tuas.
172 Let my tongue utter your oracles; for all your commandments are righteous.
Pronuntiabit lingua mea eloquium tuum, quia omnia mandata tua æquitas.
173 Let your hand be [prompt] to save me; for I have chosen your commandments.
Fiat manus tua ut salvet me, quoniam mandata tua elegi.
174 I have longed after your salvation, O Lord; and your law is my (meditation)
Concupivi salutare tuum, Domine, et lex tua meditatio mea est.
175 My soul shall live, and shall praise you; and your judgments shall help me.
Vivet anima mea, et laudabit te, et judicia tua adjuvabunt me.
176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant; for I have not forgotten your commandments.
Erravi sicut ovis quæ periit: quære servum tuum, quia mandata tua non sum oblitus.]
