Psalms 118
1 Alleluia. Give thanks to the Lord; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Luvutudila Yave matondo bila niandi widi wumboti; luzolo luandi lunzingilanga mu zithangu zioso.
2 Let now the house of Israel say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Bika Iseli katuba: luzolo luandi lunzingilanga mu zithangu zioso.
3 Let now the house of Aaron say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Bika nzo yi Aloni yituba: luzolo luandi lunzingilanga mu zithangu zioso.
4 Let now all that fear the Lord say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Bika bobo beti kinzika Yave batuba; luzolo luandi lunzingilanga mu zithangu zioso.
5 I called on the Lord out of affliction: and he listened to me, [so as to bring me] into a wide place.
Ku tsi ziphasi ziama, ndiyamikina kuidi Yave, ayi wuphana mvutu bu kaphuandisa mu kiphuanza.
6 The Lord is my helper; and I will not fear what man shall do to me.
Yave widi ku ndambuꞌama, ndilendi mona tsisi ko. Buna mutu mbi kalenda ku phanga e?
7 The Lord is my helper; and I shall see [my desire] upon mine enemies.
Yave widi ku ndambuꞌama, niandi nsadisi ama; buna ndiela nunga mu tala bambeni ziama.
8 [It is] better to trust in the Lord than to trust in man.
Bulutidi mboti mu suaminanga mu Yave viokila mu tula diana mu mutu.
9 [It is] better to hope in the Lord, than to hope in princes.
Bulutidi mboti mu suaminanga mu Yave viokila mu tula diana mu bana ba mintinu.
10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
Makanda moso manzungidila vayi mu dizina di Yave, ndilembo babungi.
11 They completely compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
Mawu manzungidila, ku ndambu ka ndambu vayi mu dizina di Yave, ndilembo babungi.
12 They compassed me about as bees [do] a honeycomb, and they burst into flame as fire among thorns: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
Mawu manzungidila banga ziniosi, vayi zifuidi mu nsualu banga zitsendi zinlema mbazu; mu dizina di Yave, ndilembo babungi
13 I was thrust, and sorely shaken, that I might fall: but the Lord helped me.
Bandunguna ku mbusa muingi ndibua vayi Yave wutsadisa.
14 The Lord is my strength and my song, and is become my salvation.
Yave niandi zingolo ziama ayi nkungꞌama; niandi wuyika phulusu ama.
15 The voice of exultation and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord has wrought mightily.
Yamikina ku khini ayi ku ndungunu kulembo wakana mu zinzo zi ngoto zi batu basonga: koko ku lubakala ku Yave kuvanga mambu ma lulendo.
16 The right hand of the Lord has exalted me: the right hand of the Lord has wrought powerfully.
Koko ku lubakala ku Yave kuidi ku zangama ngolo; koko ku lubakala ku Yave kuvanga mambu ma lulendo.
17 I shall not die, but live, and recount the works of the Lord.
Ndilendi fua ko vayi ndiela zinga ayi ndiela yamikisa momo Yave kavanga.
18 The Lord has chastened me sore: but he has not given me up to death.
Yave wuphana thumbudulu mu kingolo; vayi kasia kundiekula ko mu lufua.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and give praise to the Lord.
Nzibudila mielo mi busonga, ndiela kota ayi ndiela vutudila Yave matondo.
20 This is the gate of the Lord: the righteous shall enter by it.
Wawu, wawu muelo wu Yave, vawu basonga bafueti kotila.
21 I will give thanks to you; because you have heard me, and are become my salvation.
Ndiela kuvutudila matondo bila ngeyo wuphana mvutu wuyika phulusu ama.
22 The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner.
Ditadi diloza mintungi diyika ditadi dilutidi mfunu va fuma ki nzo.
23 This has been done of the Lord; and it is wonderful in our eyes.
Yave wuvanga diambu diodi ayi didi diambu ditsiminanga va meso meto.
24 This is the day which the Lord has made: let us exult and rejoice in it.
Kiaki kiawu lumbu kivanga Yave, bika tumona khini ayi tuyangalala mu lumbu beni.
25 O Lord, save now: O Lord, send now prosperity.
A Yave, wutuvukisa! A Yave, wutusadisa tuluta kuenda ku ntuala.
26 Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
Bika kasakumunu mutu wowo wunkuizila mu dizina di Yave; tona ku nzo Yave, tulembo kulusakumuna.
27 God is the Lord, and he has shined upon us: celebrate the feast with thick [branches, binding the victims] even to the horns of the altar.
Yave niandi Nzambi ayi niandi wutukienzula; ayi mangiemvo mu mioko, lukota mu ntanda; nate ku ziphoka zi diziku dimvikulungu makabu.
28 You are my God, and I will give you thanks: you are my God, and I will exalt you. I will give thanks to you, for you have heard me, and are become my salvation.
Ngeyo Nzambi ama ayi ndiela kuvutudila matondo. Ngeyo Nzambi ama ayi ndiela kuyayisa.
29 Give thanks to the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Luvutudila Yave matondo bila niandi widi wumboti, bila luzolo luandi lunzingilanga mu zithangu zioso.
