< Psalms 118 >

1 Alleluia. Give thanks to the Lord; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Andriaño t’Iehovà amy te Ie ro soa! nainai’e ty fiferenaiña’e.
2 Let now the house of Israel say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Anò ty hoe ry Israele: nainai’e ty fiferenaiña’e.
3 Let now the house of Aaron say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Anò ty hoe ry anjomba’ i Aharoneo: nainai’e ty fiferenaiña’e.
4 Let now all that fear the Lord say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Anò ty hoe ry mpañeveñe am’ Iehovà: nainai’e ty fiferenaiña’e.
5 I called on the Lord out of affliction: and he listened to me, [so as to bring me] into a wide place.
Nalovilovy iraho, le nitoreo am’ Ià; nanoiñe ahiko t’Ià, le navotra’e an-gadagadañe eo.
6 The Lord is my helper; and I will not fear what man shall do to me.
Amako t’Iehovà, tsy ho hemban-draho, ino ty hanoa’ondatio?
7 The Lord is my helper; and I shall see [my desire] upon mine enemies.
Amako t’Iehovà, mpañolotse ahiko, le ho sambaeko o malaiñ’ ahio.
8 [It is] better to trust in the Lord than to trust in man.
Hamake t’ie mipalitse am’ Iehovà, ta te misazok’ am’ ondatio.
9 [It is] better to hope in the Lord, than to hope in princes.
Kitra’e mitsolok’ am’ Iehovà, ta te mirampy amo roandriañeo.
10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
Hene miarikoboñe ahy o fifeheañeo fe iatoako ty tahina’ Iehovà.
11 They completely compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
Miarikatok’ ahy iereo, eka, toe misambory amako, fe iatoko ty tahina’ Iehovà.
12 They compassed me about as bees [do] a honeycomb, and they burst into flame as fire among thorns: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
Niropak’ amako hoe rene-tantele iereo, f’ie hakipike hoe fatike mirehetse; toe iatoako ty tahina’Iehovà.
13 I was thrust, and sorely shaken, that I might fall: but the Lord helped me.
Nanafasiotse ahy iereo hikorovohako, fe nañimb’ ahy t’Iehovà.
14 The Lord is my strength and my song, and is become my salvation.
Iehovà ro haozarako naho saboko, ie ro fandrombahañe ahy henane zao.
15 The voice of exultation and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord has wrought mightily.
Inao ty feom-pirebehañe naho fandrombahañe an-kivoho’ o vañoñeo ao: mavitrike ty fitoloñam-pitàn-kavana’ Iehovà.
16 The right hand of the Lord has exalted me: the right hand of the Lord has wrought powerfully.
Mizonjoñe ty fitàn-kavana’ Iehovà; mahimbañe ty fitàn-kavana’ Iehovà.
17 I shall not die, but live, and recount the works of the Lord.
Tsy hikenkan-draho fa ho veloñe, hataliliko o sata’ Iehovào.
18 The Lord has chastened me sore: but he has not given me up to death.
Nanilofe’ Ià am-pandilovan-draho, fe tsy natolo’e an-kavilasy.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and give praise to the Lord.
Sokafo ho ahy o lalam-bein-kavantañañeo, hizilihako, hañandriañako Iehovà.
20 This is the gate of the Lord: the righteous shall enter by it.
Intoy ty lalam-bei’ Iehovà, hiziliha’o vañoñeo.
21 I will give thanks to you; because you have heard me, and are become my salvation.
Andriañekoo amy te tinoi’o, fa Ihe ro fandrombahañe ahy.
22 The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner.
I vato nado’ o mpandrafitseoy le fa talèm-batolahy.
23 This has been done of the Lord; and it is wonderful in our eyes.
Sata’ Iehovà izay, le fiain-tane am-pihainon-tikañe.
24 This is the day which the Lord has made: let us exult and rejoice in it.
Itoy ty andro tsinene’ Iehovà, antao hirebeke naho hifale ama’e.
25 O Lord, save now: O Lord, send now prosperity.
Ry Iehovà, Ehe, rombaho zahay henaneo! ry Iehovà, Ehe, ampiraoraò henane zao!
26 Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
Andriañeñe ty mitotsak’ ami’ty tahina’ Iehovà! mañandriañe azo zahay boak’añ’anjomba’Iehovà ao.
27 God is the Lord, and he has shined upon us: celebrate the feast with thick [branches, binding the victims] even to the horns of the altar.
Andrianañahare t’Iehovà, Ie ty nanolotse hazavàñe amantika; mireketa reke-tsampañe amo mpamonje sabadidakeo, mivovotse mb’ an-tsifa’ i kitreliy mb’eo.
28 You are my God, and I will give you thanks: you are my God, and I will exalt you. I will give thanks to you, for you have heard me, and are become my salvation.
Ihe ro Andrianañahareko, le andriañekoo; Andrianañahareko irehe, ho zonjoñeko.
29 Give thanks to the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Andriaño t’Iehovà amy te ie ro soa! nainai’e ty fiferenaiña’e.
