< Psalms 118 >

1 Alleluia. Give thanks to the Lord; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Keleenụ Onyenwe anyị nʼihi na ọ dị mma; ịhụnanya ya na-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
2 Let now the house of Israel say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Ka ụmụ Izrel kwupụta nʼonwe ha sị, “Ịhụnanya ya na-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.”
3 Let now the house of Aaron say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Ka ndị ezinaụlọ Erọn kwuokwa sị, “Ịhụnanya ya na-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.”
4 Let now all that fear the Lord say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Ka ndị niile na-atụ egwu Onyenwe anyị kwuo sị, “Ịhụnanya ya na-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.”
5 I called on the Lord out of affliction: and he listened to me, [so as to bring me] into a wide place.
Nʼọnọdụ oke ihe mgbu m, akpọkuru m Onyenwe anyị, ọ zara m, mee ka m nwere onwe m.
6 The Lord is my helper; and I will not fear what man shall do to me.
Onyenwe anyị nọnyeere m, agaghị m atụ egwu. Gịnị ka mmadụ pụrụ ime m?
7 The Lord is my helper; and I shall see [my desire] upon mine enemies.
Onyenwe anyị nọnyere m; ọ bụ onye na-enyere m aka. Aga m ele ndị iro m anya na mmeri.
8 [It is] better to trust in the Lord than to trust in man.
Ọ kachasị mma ịgbaba nʼime Onyenwe anyị karịa ịtụkwasị ụmụ mmadụ obi.
9 [It is] better to hope in the Lord, than to hope in princes.
Ọ kachasị mma ịgbaba nʼime Onyenwe anyị karịa ịtụkwasị ndị amara aha ha obi.
10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
Mba niile gbara m gburugburu ma site nʼaha Onyenwe anyị aga m ala ha nʼiyi.
11 They completely compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
Ha gbara m gburugburu, ma site nʼaha Onyenwe anyị ka m na-egbuda ha.
12 They compassed me about as bees [do] a honeycomb, and they burst into flame as fire among thorns: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
Ha gbara m gburugburu dịka aṅụ, ma e menyụọla ha dịka ogwu na-ere ọkụ; site nʼaha Onyenwe anyị, ka m na-egbuda ha.
13 I was thrust, and sorely shaken, that I might fall: but the Lord helped me.
Akwaghachiri m azụ, agaara m ada, ma Onyenwe anyị nyere m aka.
14 The Lord is my strength and my song, and is become my salvation.
Onyenwe anyị bụ ike m na abụ m; ọ ghọọla nzọpụta m.
15 The voice of exultation and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord has wrought mightily.
Olu iti mkpu ọṅụ na mmeri na-ada nʼime ụlọ ikwu ndị ezi omume: “Aka nri Onyenwe anyị emeela ọtụtụ ihe dị ukwuu!
16 The right hand of the Lord has exalted me: the right hand of the Lord has wrought powerfully.
Aka nri Onyenwe anyị bụ ihe e weliri elu; aka nri Onyenwe anyị emeela ọtụtụ ihe dị ukwuu!”
17 I shall not die, but live, and recount the works of the Lord.
Agaghị m anwụ, kama aga m adị ndụ kwusaara ndị ọzọ ọrụ ebube Onyenwe anyị rụrụ.
18 The Lord has chastened me sore: but he has not given me up to death.
Onyenwe anyị tara m ahụhụ nke ukwuu, ma o nyefeeghị m nʼaka ọnwụ.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and give praise to the Lord.
Megheere m ọnụ ụzọ ama nke ezi omume; aga m abanye nye Onyenwe anyị ekele.
20 This is the gate of the Lord: the righteous shall enter by it.
Nke a bụ ọnụ ụzọ ụlọnsọ Onyenwe anyị, ebe ndị ezi omume ga-esite na ya banye.
21 I will give thanks to you; because you have heard me, and are become my salvation.
Aga m enye gị ekele, nʼihi na ị zara m; ị ghọọla nzọpụta m.
22 The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner.
Nkume ahụ ndị na-ewu ụlọ jụrụ, aghọọla nkume isi ntọala ụlọ;
23 This has been done of the Lord; and it is wonderful in our eyes.
nke a bụ ọrụ aka Onyenwe anyị, ọ bụkwa ihe ịtụnanya nʼanya anyị.
24 This is the day which the Lord has made: let us exult and rejoice in it.
Nke a bụ ụbọchị Onyenwe anyị anyị mere, ka anyị ṅụrịa ọṅụ, nweekwa obi ụtọ nʼime ya.
25 O Lord, save now: O Lord, send now prosperity.
O Onyenwe anyị, zọpụta anyị; o Onyenwe anyị, mee ka ihe gaara anyị nke ọma.
26 Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
Onye a gọziri agọzi ka onye ahụ bụ, nke na-abịa nʼaha Onyenwe anyị. Anyị sitere nʼụlọ Onyenwe anyị na-agọzi gị.
27 God is the Lord, and he has shined upon us: celebrate the feast with thick [branches, binding the victims] even to the horns of the altar.
Onyenwe anyị bụ Chineke, ọ bụ ya mere ka ìhè ya mụkwasị anyị. Chịrị igu nkwụ nʼaka gị, soro ndị ji ọṅụ bata nʼogige Chineke bịaruo nʼebe ịchụ aja.
28 You are my God, and I will give you thanks: you are my God, and I will exalt you. I will give thanks to you, for you have heard me, and are become my salvation.
Ị bụ Chineke m, aga m eto gị; ị bụ Chineke m, aga m ebuli gị elu.
29 Give thanks to the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Keleenụ Onyenwe anyị nʼihi na ọ dị mma, ịhụnanya ya na-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
