Psalms 115
1 Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, because of your mercy and your truth;
Dili kanamo, Oh Jehova, dili kanamo, Kondili sa imong ngalan ihatag ang himaya, Tungod sa imong mahigugmaong-kalolot, ug tungod sa imong kamatuoran.
2 lest at any time the nations should say, Where is their God?
Busa, ngano ba nga magaingon ang mga nasud, Hain man karon ang ilang Dios?
3 But our God has done in heaven and on earth, whatever he has pleased.
Apan ang among Dios anaa sa mga langit: Gibuhat niya ang tanang nakapahimuot kaniya.
4 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the works of men's hands.
Ang ilang mga dios-dios mao ang salapi ug bulawan Binuhat sa mga kamot sa mga tawo.
5 They have a mouth, but they can’t speak; they have eyes, but they can’t see:
(Sila) adunay baba, apan (sila) dili makasulti; (Sila) adunay mga mata, apan (sila) dili makakita;
6 they have ears, but they can’t hear; they have noses, but they can’t smell;
Adunay mga igdulungog (sila) apan (sila) dili makadungog; (Sila) adunay mga ilong, apan (sila) dili makapanimaho;
7 they have hands, but they can’t handle; they have feet, but they can’t walk: they can’t speak through their throat.
(Sila) adunay mga kamot, apan (sila) dili makahikap; (Sila) adunay mga tiil, apan (sila) dili makalakaw; Ni makasulti (sila) pinaagi sa ilang totonlan.
8 Let those that make them become like to them, and all who trust in them.
Ang mga nanagbuhat kanila nahisama kanila; Oo, sama kanila, ang tagsatagsa nga mosalig kanila.
9 The house of Israel trusts in the Lord: he is their helper and defender.
Oh Israel, sumalig ka kang Jehova: Siya mao ang ilang tabang ug ang ilang kalasag.
10 The house of Aaron trusts in the Lord: he is their helper and defender.
Oh panimalay ni Aaron, sumalig kamo kang Jehova: Siya mao ang ilang tabang ug ang ilang kalasag.
11 They that fear the Lord trust in the Lord: he is their helper and defender.
Kamong mga nangahadlok kang Jehova sumalig kamo kang Jehova: Siya mao ang ilang tabang ug ang ilang kalasag.
12 The Lord has remembered us, and blessed us: he has blessed the house of Israel, he has blessed the house of Aaron.
Si Jehova nahinumdum kanato; siya magapanalangin kanato: Magapanalangin siya sa panimalay sa Israel; Magapanalangin siya sa panimalay ni Aaron.
13 He has blessed them that fear the Lord, both small and great.
Siya magapanalangin kanila nga may kahadlok kang Jehova, Sa mga gagmay ug sa mga dagku.
14 The Lord add [blessings] to you and to your children.
Si Jehova magadugang sa pagpadaghan kaninyo, Kaninyo ug sa inyong mga anak.
15 Blessed are you of the Lord, who made the heaven and the earth.
Mga gibulahan kamo ni Jehova, Nga nagbuhat sa langit ug sa yuta.
16 The heaven of heavens [belongs] to the Lord: but he has given the earth to the sons of men.
Ang kalangitan mao ang mga langit ni Jehova; Apan gihatag niya ang yuta alang sa mga anak sa mga tawo.
17 The dead shall not praise you, O Lord, nor any that go down to Hades.
Ang mga minatay dili magadayeg kang Jehova, Ni may mausa niadtong mga nanganaug ngadto sa hilum;
18 But we, the living, will bless the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.
Apan pagadayegon nato si Jehova Sukad karon ngadto sa umalabut ug sa walay katapusan. Dayegon ninyo si Jehova.
