Psalms 112

1 Alleluia. Blessed is the man that fears the Lord: he will delight greatly in his commandments.

По еврейски азбучен псалом. Алилуя. Блажен оня човек, който се бои от Господа, Който много се възхищава от заповедите Му.

2 His seed shall be mighty in the earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

Потомството му ще бъде силно на земята; Родът на праведните ще се благослови.

3 Glory and riches shall be in his house; and his righteousness endures for evermore.

Изобилие и богатство ще има в дома му; И правдата му ще трае до века.

4 To the upright light has sprung up in darkness: he is pitiful, and merciful, and righteous.

Виделина изгрява в тъмнината за праведните; Той е благ, и милостив, и праведен.

5 The good man is he that pities and lends: he will direct his affairs with judgment.

Блазе на човека, който показва милост и дава на заем; Ще поддържа делото си в съда

6 For he shall not be moved for ever; the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

Наистина никога няма да се поклати; Праведният е вечен паметник.

7 He shall not be afraid of [any] evil report: his heart is ready to trust in the Lord.

От лош слух не ще се бои; Сърцето му е непоколебимо понеже уповава на Господа.

8 His heart is established, he shall not fear, till he shall see [his desire] upon his enemies.

Утвърдено е сърцето му; той не ще се бои До тогаз, до когато води повелението на неприятелите си.

9 He has dispersed abroad; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures for evermore: his horn shall be exalted with honor.

Разпръсна, даде на сиромасите; Правдата му трае до века; Рогът му ще се издигне на почит.

10 The sinner shall see and be angry, he shall gnash his teeth, and consume away: the desire of the sinner shall perish.

Нечестивият ще види това и ще се наскърби, Ще поскърца със зъби, и ще се стопи; Желаното от нечестивите ще погине.
