< Psalms 105 >
1 Alleluia. Give thanks to the Lord, and call upon his name; declare his works among the heathen.
O bay remèsiman a SENYÈ a! Rele non Li! Fè zèv Li yo rekonèt pami pèp yo.
2 Sing to him, yes, sing praises to him: tell forth all his wonderful works.
Chante a Li menm. Chante lwanj a Li. Pale sou tout mèvèy Li yo.
3 Glory in his holy name: let the heart of them that seek the Lord rejoice.
Bay non Li glwa! Kite kè a (sila) ki chache SENYÈ yo vin kontan.
4 Seek you the Lord, and be strengthened; seek his face continually.
Chache SENYÈ a ak fòs Li. Chache fas Li san rete.
5 Remember his wonderful works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
Sonje mèvèy ke Li te fè yo, mirak Li yo avèk jijman ke bouch Li te pale yo.
6 [you] seed of Abraam, his servants, [you] children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
O jèm Abraham, sèvitè Li a, O fis Jacob la, (sila) ke Li te chwazi yo!
7 He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
Li se SENYÈ a, Bondye nou an. Jijman Li yo nan tout latè.
8 He has remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded for a thousand generation:

9 which he established as a covenant to Abraam, and [he remembered] his oath to Isaac.
Akò ke Li te fè avèk Abraham nan, ak sèman ke Li te fè avèk Isaac la.
10 And he established it to Jacob for an ordinance, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant;
Li te konfime li a Jacob kon yon règleman, a Israël kon yon akò ki la pou tout tan.
11 saying To you will I give the land of Chanaan, the line of your inheritance:
Konsa Li te di: “A ou menm, Mwen va bay peyi Canaan kon pòsyon eritaj ou,”
12 when they were few in number, very few, and sojourners in it.
Sa te fèt lè se te sèlman kèk grenn moun ke yo te ye, pa anpil menm, mele ak moun etranje yo ladann l.
13 And they went from nation to nation, and from [one] kingdom to another people.
Yo t ap mache toupatou soti nan yon nasyon pou rive nan yon lòt, soti nan yon wayòm pou rive kote yon lòt pèp.
14 He suffered no man to wrong them; and he rebuked kings for their sakes:
Li pa t kite pèsòn peze yo. Wi, Li te repwoche wa yo pou koz a yo menm:
15 [saying], Touch not my anointed ones; and do my prophets no harm.
“Pa touche onksyone mwen yo! Pa fè pwofèt Mwen yo okenn mal!”
16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land; he broke the whole support of bread.

17 He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold for a slave.
Li te voye yon nonm devan yo, Joseph ki te vann kon esklav.
18 They hurt his feet with fetters; his soul passed into iron,
Yo te aflije pye li ak chenn. Joseph, pou kont li, te kouche nan fè yo,
19 until the time that his cause came on; the word of the Lord tried him as fire.
jiskaske pawòl li te vin acheve. Pawòl SENYÈ a te fè l kanpe janm.
20 The king sent and loosed him; [even] the prince of the people, and let him go free.
Wa a te voye lage li. Dirijan a pèp la menm, te bay li libète.
21 He made him Lord over his house, and ruler of all his substance;
Li te fè li mèt lakay li ak chèf sou tout byen li yo,
22 to chastise his rulers at his pleasure, and to teach his elders wisdom.
pou mete prens li yo nan prizon lè l te pito, pou l te kab enstwi ansyen sa yo sajès.
23 Israel also came into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Cham.
Israël osi te rive an Égypte. Konsa Jacob te vin demere nan peyi Cham nan.
24 And he increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their enemies.
SENYÈ a te fè pèp pa Li vin peple anpil. Li te fè yo vin pifò ke advèsè yo.
25 And he turned their heart to hate his people, to deal craftily with his servants.
Li te vire kè yo pou yo rayi pèp Li a, pou yo aji ak gwo mechanste avèk sèvitè Li yo.
26 He sent fort Moses his servant, [and] Aaron whom he had chosen.
Li te voye Moïse, sèvitè Li a, avèk Aaron ke Li te chwazi.
27 He established among them his signs, and [his] wonders in the land of Cham.
Yo te fè zèv mèvèy Li yo pami yo, avèk mirak nan peyi Cham yo.
28 He sent forth darkness, and made it dark; yet they rebelled against his words.
Li te voye tenèb e te fè l fènwa. Epi yo pa t fè rebèl kont pawòl Li yo.
29 He turned their waters into blood, and killed their fish.
Li te fè dlo yo devni san e te fè pwason yo mouri.
30 Their land produced frogs abundantly, in the chambers of their kings.
Peyi yo te ranvaye avèk krapo, menm jis rive nan chanm a wa yo.
31 He spoke, and the dog-fly came, and lice in all their coasts.
Li te pale e te vin rive yon epidemi mouch yo, ak vèmin nan tout teritwa yo.
32 He turned their rain into hail, [and sent] flaming fire in their land.
Li te bay yo lagrèl pou lapli, avèk dife brile nan peyi yo.
33 And he struck their vines and their fig trees; and broke every tree of their coast.
Li te frape fè desann tout chan fwi yo e te kraze fann pyebwa nan teritwa yo.
34 He spoke, and the locust came, and caterpillars innumerable,
Li te pale e krikèt volan yo te vini. Ak jenn krikèt san kontwòl.
35 and devoured all the grass in their land, and devoured the fruit of the ground.
Yo te manje tout sa ki te vèt nan peyi yo, e te manje fwi a teren yo.
36 He struck also every firstborn of their land, the first fruits of all their labor.
Anplis, Li te frape touye tout premye ne nan peyi yo, premye fwi a fòs yo.
37 And he brought them out with silver and gold; and there was not a feeble one among their tribes.
Li te fè yo sòti ak ajan ak lò. Pami pèp Li yo, pa t gen yon grenn ki te tonbe.
38 Egypt rejoiced at their departing; for the fear of them fell upon them.
Égypte te kontan lè yo te sòti, paske laperèz yo te fin tonbe sou yo.
39 He spread out a cloud for a covering to them, and fire to give them light by night.
Li te louvri yon nwaj kon kouvèti, avèk dife ki pou klere nan nwit la.
40 They asked, and the quail came, and he satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
Yo te mande e li te pote zòtolan pou te satisfè yo avèk pen syèl la.
41 He clave the rock, and the waters flowed, rivers ran in dry places.
Li te ouvri wòch la e dlo te sòti ladann. Li te koule kote sèch yo tankou yon rivyè.
42 For he remembered his holy word, which [he promised] to Abraam his servant.
Li te sonje pawòl sen Li yo avèk Abraham, sèvitè Li a.
43 And he brought out his people with exultation, and his chosen with joy;
Konsa, Li te mennen fè sòti pèp Li a avèk jwa, (sila) ke Li te chwazi avèk gwo kri ak kè kontan yo.
44 and gave them the lands of the heathen; and they inherited the labors of the people;
Li te bay yo, anplis, peyi a nasyon yo, Pou yo ta pran posesyon a zèv a pèp yo,
45 that they might keep his ordinances, and diligently seek his law.
pou yo te kab kenbe règleman Li yo, e swiv lwa Li yo. Louwe SENYÈ a!
