Psalms 104
1 [A Psalm] of David. Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, you are very great; you have clothed yourself with praise and honor:
Благосиљај, душо моја, Господа! Господе, Боже мој, велик си веома, обукао си се у величанство и красоту.
2 who do robe yourself with light as with a garment; spreading out the heaven as a curtain.
Обукао си светлост као хаљину, разапео небо као шатор;
3 Who covers his chambers with waters; who makes the clouds his chariot; who walks on the wings of the wind.
Водом си покрио дворове своје, облаке начинио си да су Ти кола, идеш на крилима ветреним.
4 Who makes his angels spirits, and his ministers a flaming fire.
Чиниш ветрове да су Ти анђели, пламен огњени да су Ти слуге.
5 Who establishes the earth on her sure foundation: it shall not be moved for ever.
Утврдио си земљу на темељима њеним, да се не помести на век века.
6 The deep, as it were a garment, is his covering: the waters shall stand on the hills.
Безданом као хаљином оденуо си је; на горама стоје воде.
7 At your rebuke they shall flee; at the voice of your thunder they shall be alarmed.
Од претње Твоје беже, од громовног гласа Твог теку.
8 They go up to the mountains, and down to the plains, to the place which you have founded for them.
Излазе на горе и силазе у долине, на место које си им утврдио.
9 You have set a bound which they shall not pass, neither shall they turn again to cover the earth.
Поставио си међу, преко које не прелазе, и не враћају се да покрију земљу.
10 He sends forth his fountains among the valleys: the waters shall run between the mountains.
Извео си изворе по долинама, између гора теку воде.
11 They shall give drink to all the wild beasts of the field: the wild asses shall take [of them] to [quench] their thirst.
Напајају све звери пољске; дивљи магарци гасе жеђ своју.
12 By them shall the birds of the sky lodge: they shall utter a voice out of the midst of the rocks.
На њима птице небеске живе; кроз гране разлеже се глас њихов.
13 He waters the mountains from his chambers: the earth shall be satisfied with the fruit of your works.
Напајаш горе с висина својих, плодовима дела Твојих сити се земља.
14 He makes grass to grow for the cattle, and green herb for the service of men, to bring bread out of the earth;
Дајеш те расте трава стоци, и зелен на корист човеку, да би извадио хлеб из земље.
15 and wine makes glad the heart of man, to make his face cheerful with oil: and bread strengthens man's heart.
И вино весели срце човеку, и лице се светли од уља, и хлеб срце човеку крепи.
16 The trees of the plain shall be full [of sap]; [even] the cedars of Libanus which he has planted.
Сите се дрвета Божија, кедри ливански, које си посадио.
17 There the sparrows will build their nests; and the house of the heron takes the lead among them.
На њима птице вију гнезда; станак је родин на јелама.
18 The high mountains are a refuge for the stags, [and] the rock for the rabbits.
Горе високе дивокозама, камен је уточиште зечевима.
19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows his going down.
Створио си месец да показује времена, сунце познаје запад свој.
20 You did make darkness, and it was night; in it all the wild beasts of the forest will be abroad:
Стереш таму, и бива ноћ, по којој излази све зверје шумско;
21 [even] young lions roaring for prey, and to seek meat for themselves from God.
Лавови ричу за пленом, и траже од Бога хране себи.
22 The sun arises, and they shall be gathered together, and shall lie down in their dens.
Сунце гране, и они се сакривају и лежу у ложе своје.
23 Man shall go forth to his work, and to his labor till evening.
Излази човек на посао свој, и на рад свој до вечера.
24 How great are your works, O Lord! in wisdom have you wrought them all: the earth is filled with your creation.
Како је много дела Твојих, Господе! Све си премудро створио; пуна је земља блага Твог.
25 [So is] this great and wide sea: there are things creeping innumerable, small animals and great.
Гле, море велико и широко, ту гмижу без броја, животиња мала и велика;
26 There go the ships; [and] this dragon whom you have made to play in it.
Ту лађе плове, крокодил, ког си створио да се игра по њему.
27 All wait upon you, to give them [their] food in due season.
Све Тебе чека, да им дајеш пићу на време.
28 When you have given [it] them, they will gather [it]; and when you have opened your hand, they shall all be filled with good.
Дајеш им, примају; отвориш руку своју, сите се добра.
29 But when you have turned away your face, they shall be troubled: you will take away their breath, and they shall fail, and return to their dust.
Одвратиш лице своје, жалосте се; узмеш им дух, гину, и у прах свој враћају се.
30 You shall send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created; and you shall renew the face of the earth.
Пошаљеш дух свој, постају, и понављаш лице земљи.
31 Let the glory of the Lord be for ever: the Lord shall rejoice in his works;
Слава Господу увек; нек се весели Господ за дела своја!
32 who looks upon the earth, and makes it tremble; who touches the mountains, and they smoke.
Он погледа на земљу, и она се тресе; дотакне се гора, и диме се.
33 I will sing to the Lord while I live; I will sing praise to my God while I exist.
Певаћу Господу за живота свог; хвалићу Бога свог док сам год.
34 Let my meditation be sweet to him: and I will rejoice in the Lord.
Нека Му буде мила беседа моја! Веселићу се о Господу.
35 Let the sinners fail from off the earth, and transgressors, so that they shall be no more. Bless the Lord, O my soul.
Нека нестане грешника са земље, и безбожника нека не буде више! Благосиљај, душо моја, Господа! Алилуја!
