< Psalms 104 >

1 [A Psalm] of David. Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, you are very great; you have clothed yourself with praise and honor:
Beni SENYÈ a, O nanm mwen! O SENYÈ, Bondye mwen an, Ou tèlman gran. Ou abiye avèk bèlte ak majeste.
2 who do robe yourself with light as with a garment; spreading out the heaven as a curtain.
Li kouvri Li menm ak limyè kon yon manto. Ki ouvri syèl la tankou yon rido tant.
3 Who covers his chambers with waters; who makes the clouds his chariot; who walks on the wings of the wind.
Li poze gran travès wo chanm nan nan dlo. Li fè nwaj yo sèvi kon cha Li. Li mache sou zèl van an.
4 Who makes his angels spirits, and his ministers a flaming fire.
Li fè van yo vin mesaje Li. Flanm dife yo se minis Li.
5 Who establishes the earth on her sure foundation: it shall not be moved for ever.
Li te etabli tè a sou pwòp fondasyon li, pou l pa varye pou tout tan ni pou tout tan.
6 The deep, as it were a garment, is his covering: the waters shall stand on the hills.
Ou te kouvri li avèk fon an tankou yon vètman. Dlo yo te kanpe anwo mòn yo.
7 At your rebuke they shall flee; at the voice of your thunder they shall be alarmed.
Ak repwòch Ou, yo te sove ale. Lè vwa Ou te sone, yo te kouri ale.
8 They go up to the mountains, and down to the plains, to the place which you have founded for them.
Mòn yo te leve, vale yo te vin fon nan plas ke Ou te kòmande pou yo a.
9 You have set a bound which they shall not pass, neither shall they turn again to cover the earth.
Ou te plase yon limit pou dlo yo pa ta depase, pou yo pa retounen kouvri tè a.
10 He sends forth his fountains among the valleys: the waters shall run between the mountains.
Li fè sous yo vin koule nan vale yo. Yo koule antre mòn yo.
11 They shall give drink to all the wild beasts of the field: the wild asses shall take [of them] to [quench] their thirst.
Yo bay dlo pou bwè a tout bèt chan yo. Bourik mawon yo bwè pou satisfè swaf yo.
12 By them shall the birds of the sky lodge: they shall utter a voice out of the midst of the rocks.
Akote yo, zwazo syèl yo va poze kay. Yo va leve vwa yo pami branch bwa yo.
13 He waters the mountains from his chambers: the earth shall be satisfied with the fruit of your works.
Li awoze mòn yo soti nan chanm anwo yo. Latè satisfè avèk fwi a zèv Li yo.
14 He makes grass to grow for the cattle, and green herb for the service of men, to bring bread out of the earth;
Li fè zèb grandi pou bèt yo e vèdi pou zèv a lòm nan, pou li kab fè manje sòti nan tè a,
15 and wine makes glad the heart of man, to make his face cheerful with oil: and bread strengthens man's heart.
e diven ki fè kè a lòm kontan an, pou li kab fè figi li klere ak lwil, ak manje ki bay soutyen a kè lòm nan.
16 The trees of the plain shall be full [of sap]; [even] the cedars of Libanus which he has planted.
Pyebwa a SENYÈ yo bwè dlo jiskaske yo plen, pye sèd Liban ke Li te plante yo,
17 There the sparrows will build their nests; and the house of the heron takes the lead among them.
kote zwazo yo fè nich yo. Sigòy ki fè kay li nan pye sipre yo.
18 The high mountains are a refuge for the stags, [and] the rock for the rabbits.
Mòn wo yo se pou kabrit mawon yo. Gwo falèz yo se yon kote pou daman yo kache.
19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows his going down.
Li te fè lalin nan pou sezon yo. Solèy la konnen plas kote pou l vin kouche a.
20 You did make darkness, and it was night; in it all the wild beasts of the forest will be abroad:
Ou te chwazi tenèb la e li te devni lannwit, pou tout bèt forè yo mache toupatou.
21 [even] young lions roaring for prey, and to seek meat for themselves from God.
Jenn lyon yo rele fò dèyè viktim yo, e chache manje yo nan men Bondye.
22 The sun arises, and they shall be gathered together, and shall lie down in their dens.
Solèy la vin leve. Yo retire yo pou ale kouche nan tanyè yo.
23 Man shall go forth to his work, and to his labor till evening.
Lòm ale fè travay li. Li fè fòs jis lannwit rive.
24 How great are your works, O Lord! in wisdom have you wrought them all: the earth is filled with your creation.
O SENYÈ, a la zèv Ou yo anpil! Nan sajès, Ou te fè tout bagay. Latè ranpli ak byen Ou yo.
25 [So is] this great and wide sea: there are things creeping innumerable, small animals and great.
Genyen lanmè, gran e vast. Ladann, gen gwo ekip pwason ki pa kab menm konte gwo bèt, kòn ti bèt.
26 There go the ships; [and] this dragon whom you have made to play in it.
Genyen gwo bato k ap pase ladann, ak levyatan ke Ou te fòme pou fè spò ladann nan.
27 All wait upon you, to give them [their] food in due season.
Yo tout ap tann Ou pou bay yo manje nan lè yo.
28 When you have given [it] them, they will gather [it]; and when you have opened your hand, they shall all be filled with good.
Ou bay yo, e yo ranmase li. Ou ouvri men Ou, e yo satisfè ak bonte.
29 But when you have turned away your face, they shall be troubled: you will take away their breath, and they shall fail, and return to their dust.
Ou kache figi Ou, e yo chagren nèt. Ou retire lespri yo; yo mouri e yo retounen nan pousyè yo.
30 You shall send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created; and you shall renew the face of the earth.
Ou voye Lespri Ou deyò; yo vin kreye. Konsa, Ou renouvle fas tè a.
31 Let the glory of the Lord be for ever: the Lord shall rejoice in his works;
Kite glwa SENYÈ a dire jis pou tout tan. Kite SENYÈ a rejwi nan zèv Li yo.
32 who looks upon the earth, and makes it tremble; who touches the mountains, and they smoke.
Li gade tè a e tè a vin tranble. Li touche mòn yo e yo fè lafimen.
33 I will sing to the Lord while I live; I will sing praise to my God while I exist.
Mwen va chante a SENYÈ a toutotan ke m ap viv. Mwen va chante lwanj a Bondye mwen an toutotan ke m la.
34 Let my meditation be sweet to him: and I will rejoice in the Lord.
Kite refleksyon mwen yo fè L plezi. Pou kont mwen, mwen va kontan nan SENYÈ a.
35 Let the sinners fail from off the earth, and transgressors, so that they shall be no more. Bless the Lord, O my soul.
Kite pechè yo vin disparèt sou tè a, E mechan yo vin pa la ankò. Beni SENYÈ a, O nanm mwen. Bay SENYÈ a lwanj!
