< Psalms 102 >
1 A Prayer for the Poor; when he is deeply afflicted, and pours out his supplication before the Lord. Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come to you.
Àdúrà olùpọ́njú tí àárẹ̀ mú, tí ó sí ọkàn rẹ̀ payá níwájú Olúwa. Gbọ́ àdúrà mi, Olúwa, jẹ́ kí igbe ẹ̀bẹ̀ mi kí ó wá sí ọ̀dọ̀ rẹ.
2 Turn not away your face from me: in the day [when] I am afflicted, incline your ear to me: in the day [when] I shall call upon you, speedily hear me.
Má ṣe pa ojú rẹ mọ́ kúrò lọ́dọ̀ mi ní ọjọ́ tí èmi wà nínú ìpọ́njú. Dẹ etí rẹ sí mi; nígbà tí mo bá pè, dá mi lóhùn kíákíá.
3 For my days have vanished like smoke, and my bones have been parched like a stick.
Nítorí tí ọjọ́ mi run bí èéfín; egungun mi sì jóná bí ààrò.
4 I am blighted like grass, and my heart is dried up; for I have forgotten to eat my bread.
Àyà mi lù, ó sì rọ bí i koríko; mo gbàgbé láti jẹ oúnjẹ mi.
5 By reason of the voice of my groaning, my bone has cleaved to my flesh.
Nítorí ohùn ìkérora mi, egungun mi lẹ̀ mọ́ ẹran-ara mi.
6 I have become like a pelican of the wilderness;
Èmi dàbí ẹyẹ igún ní ijù: èmi dàbí òwìwí ibi ahoro.
7 I have become like an owl in a ruined house. I have watched, and am become as a sparrow dwelling alone on a roof.
Èmi dìde; èmi dàbí ẹyẹ lórí ilé.
8 All the day long mine enemies have reproached me; and they that praised me have sworn against me.
Ní ọjọ́ gbogbo, àwọn ọ̀tá ológoṣẹ́ mi ń gàn mí; àwọn tí ń ṣe ìkanra sí mi ń fi orúkọ mi bú.
9 For I have eaten ashes as it were bread, and mingled my drink with weeping;
Èmi jẹ eérú gẹ́gẹ́ bí oúnjẹ mi, èmi sì da ohun mímu mi pọ̀ pẹ̀lú omijé.
10 because of your anger and your wrath: for you have lifted me up, and dashed me down.
Nítorí ìbínú ríru rẹ, nítorí ìwọ ti gbé mi sókè, ìwọ sì gbé mi ṣánlẹ̀.
11 My days have declined like a shadow; and I am withered like grass.
Ọjọ́ mi dàbí òjìji àṣálẹ́ èmi sì rọ bí koríko.
12 But you, Lord, endure for ever, and your memorial to generation and generation.
Ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ, Olúwa, ni yóò dúró láéláé; ìrántí rẹ láti ìran dé ìran.
13 You shall arise, and have mercy upon Sion: for [it is] time to have mercy upon her, for the set time is come.
Ìwọ ó dìde ìwọ ó sì ṣàánú fún Sioni, nítorí ìgbà àti ṣe ojúrere sí i; àkókò náà ti dé.
14 For your servants have taken pleasure in her stones, and they shall pity her dust.
Nítorí tí àwọn òkúta jẹ́ inú dídùn sí àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ; wọ́n sì káàánú erùpẹ̀ rẹ.
15 So the nations shall fear your name, O Lord, and all kings your glory.
Àwọn kèfèrí yóò bẹ̀rù orúkọ Olúwa, gbogbo ọba ayé yóò máa bẹ̀rù ògo rẹ.
16 For the Lord shall build up Sion, and shall appear in his glory.
Torí tí Olúwa yóò gbé Sioni ró, yóò farahàn nínú ògo rẹ̀.
17 He has had regard to the prayer of the lowly, and has not despised their petition.
Yóò dáhùn àdúrà àwọn aláìní; kì yóò sì gan ẹ̀bẹ̀ wọn.
18 Let this be written for another generation; and the people that shall be created shall praise the Lord.
Jẹ́ kí a kọ èyí fún ìran tí ń bọ̀, àwọn ènìyàn tí a kò tí ì dá yóò yin Olúwa:
19 For he has looked out from the height of his sanctuary; the Lord looked upon the earth from heaven;
“Olúwa wo ilẹ̀ láti òkè mímọ́ rẹ̀ wá láti ọ̀run wá ni ó bojú wo ayé,
20 to hear the groaning of the fettered ones, to loosen the sons of the slain;
láti gbọ́ ìrora ará túbú, láti tú àwọn tí a yàn sí ikú sílẹ̀.”
21 to proclaim the name of the Lord in Sion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
Kí a lè sọ orúkọ Olúwa ní Sioni àti ìyìn rẹ̀ ní Jerusalẹmu.
22 when the people are gathered together, and the kings, to serve the Lord.
Ní ìgbà tí a kó àwọn ènìyàn àti ìjọba pọ̀ láti máa sìn Olúwa.
23 He answered him in the way of his strength: tell me the fewness of my days.
Ní ipa ọ̀nà mi, ó rẹ agbára mi sílẹ̀, ó gé ọjọ́ mi kúrú.
24 Take me not away in the midst of my days: your years [are] through all generations.
Èmi sì wí pé: “Ọlọ́run mi, má ṣe mú mi kúrò ní agbede-méjì ọjọ́ mi; ọdún rẹ̀ ń lọ láti ìran dé ìran.
25 In the beginning you, O Lord, did lay the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of your hands.
Ní ìbẹ̀rẹ̀ ní ìwọ fi ìpìlẹ̀ ayé sọlẹ̀, ọ̀run sì jẹ́ iṣẹ́ ọwọ́ rẹ.
26 They shall perish, but you remain: and [they all] shall wax old as a garment; and as a vesture shall you fold them, and they shall be changed.
Wọn yóò ṣègbé, wọn yóò parun, ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ yóò wà; gbogbo wọn ni yóò gbó bí aṣọ. Bí ẹ̀wù ni ìwọ yóò pààrọ̀ wọn wọn yóò sì di àpatì.
27 But you are the same, and your years shall not fail.
Ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ wà digbí síbẹ̀, ọdún rẹ kò sì ní òpin.
28 The children of your servants shall dwell [securely], and their seed shall prosper for ever.
Àwọn ọmọ ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀ yóò dúró ní iwájú rẹ pẹ́; a ó sì fi ẹsẹ̀ irú-ọmọ wọn sọlẹ̀ ní iwájú rẹ.”
