Psalms 100

1 A Psalm for Thanksgiving. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.

Salmo di lode. Mandate gridi di gioia all’Eterno, o abitanti di tutta la terra!

2 Serve the Lord with gladness; come before his presence with exultation.

Servite l’Eterno con gioia, venite al suo cospetto con canti!

3 Know that the Lord he is God; he made us, and not we ourselves; [we are] his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Riconoscete che l’Eterno è Dio; è lui che ci ha fatti, e noi siam suoi; siamo il suo popolo e il gregge ch’egli pasce.

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with hymns; give thanks to him, praise his name.

Entrate nelle sue porte con ringraziamento, e nei suoi cortili con lode; celebratelo, benedite il suo nome.

5 For the Lord is good, his mercy is for ever; and his truth [endures] to generation and generation.

Poiché l’Eterno è buono; la sua benignità dura in perpetuo, e la sua fedeltà per ogni età.
