< Psalms 10 >

1 Why stand you afar off, O Lord? [why] do you overlook [us] in times of need, in affliction?
Bila mbi ngeyo Yave telimini thama e? Bila mbi wididi wusuama mu thangu ziphasi e?
2 While the ungodly one acts proudly, the poor is hotly pursued: [the wicked] are taken in the crafty counsels which they imagine.
Mu lunangu luandi, mutu wumbimbi wulembo landakana mutu wulebakana; bobo babuilamanga mu makani momo kakubikidi.
3 Because the sinner praises himself for the desires of his heart; and the unjust one blesses himself.
Bila mutu wumbimbi wulembo kiniemisa mu nzinunu zi ntima andi; ayi wulembo sakumuna nkua lukokoto, wulembo lenzi Yave.
4 The sinner has provoked the Lord: according to the abundance of his pride he will not seek after [him]: God is not before him.
Mu luniemo luandi, mutu wumbimbi kantombanga ko. Mu mayindu mandi, Nzambi kasi kadi buangu ko.
5 His ways are profane at all times; your judgments are removed from before him: he will gain the mastery over all his enemies.
Mu zithangu zioso, zinzila ziandi zidi zimboti widi nkua lunangu ayi mina miaku midi mitatuka kuidi niandi; wunsekininanga bambeni bandi zioso.
6 For he has said in his heart, I shall not be moved, [continuing] without evil from generation to generation.
Wuniungutanga mu ntimꞌandi: “Kuisi ko diambu dilenda ku ndikuna; Ndidi mu khini mu zithangu zioso ayi ndilendi ba mu phasi ko.”
7 Whose mouth is full of cursing, and bitterness, and fraud: under his tongue are trouble and pain.
Munu andi wuwedi tsingulu, luvunu ayi buivi. Ku tsi ludimi luandi kuidi ziphasi ayi mambimbi.
8 He lies in wait with rich [men] in secret places, in order to kill the innocent: his eyes are set against the poor.
Wumfielanga mu ndambu mala. Wumvondanga mutu kambulu zaba diambu mu bibuangu bisuama, meso mandi manfielanga mu kinsueki bobo katidi vanga mbimbi.
9 He lies in wait in secret as a lion in his den: he lies in wait to ravish the poor, to ravish the poor when he draws him [after him]: he will bring him down in his snare.
Wumfielanga banga bumfiedilanga khosi bu kadi mu nsuku wumfielanga mu diambu di buila batu bakambulu lusadusu.
10 He will bow down and fall when he has mastered the poor.
Weti kuba kosikisa, bawu beti tumbu vonga; beti bua ku tsi zingolo ziandi.
11 For he has said in his heart, God has forgotten: he has turned away his face so as never to look.
Wuniungutanga mu ntimꞌandi: “Nzambi zimbikini, fukidi zizi kiandi ayi kalendi mona ko.”
12 Arise, O Lord God; let your hand be lifted up: forget not the poor.
A Yave Nzambi, telama, vumuna koko kuaku; kadi zimbakana batu bakambulu lusadusu!
13 Therefore, has the wicked provoked God? for he has said in his heart, He will not require [it].
Bila mbi mutu wumbimbi keti lenzila Nzambi e? Bila mbi kalembo niungutina mu ntimꞌandi: “Kalendi tomba ko ti ndimvumbudila kipholo”
14 You see [it]; for you do observe trouble and wrath, to deliver them into your hands: the poor has been left to you; you were a helper to the orphan.
Muaki ngeyo Nzambi, wulembo moni ziphasi ayi mabienga; Wulembo tadi mawu muingi wumatula va koko kuaku. Nkua mabienga wukukiyekulanga kuidi ngeyo; ngeyo nsadisi wu muana sana.
15 Break you the arm of the sinner and wicked man: his sin shall be sought for, and shall not be found.
Kelula koko ku mutu wumbimbi ayi ku mutu weti vanga mambimbi, nkambi kavumbudila kipholo mu mambimbi mandi; nate wela kambu buela ku mamona.
16 The Lord shall reign for ever, even for ever and ever: you Gentiles shall perish out his land.
Yave niandi ntinu mu zithangu zioso ayi mu thangu yi kayimani Makanda mela bungana mu tsi andi.
17 The Lord has heard the desire of the poor: your ear has inclined to the preparation of their heart;
A Yave, ngeyo weti wa zitsatu zi batu badi mu phasi. Weti kuba kindisa; ayi dimba yamikina kuawu.
18 to plead for the orphan and afflicted, that man may no more boast upon the earth.
Mu diambu di nuanisa muana sana ayi mutu weti yamusu muingi mutu widi va ntoto kabika monisa tsisi.
