Proverbs 7
1 [My] son, keep my words, and hide with you my commandments. [My] son, honor the Lord, and you shall be strong; and fear none but him:
၁ငါ့ သား ၊ ငါ့ စကား ကို စေ့စေ့ နားထောင်၍ ၊ ငါ့ ပညတ် တို့ကို သင် ၌ သိုထား လော့။
2 keep my commandments, and you shall live; and [keep] my words as the pupils of [your] eyes.
၂ငါ့ ပညတ် တို့ကို စောင့်ရှောက် ၍ အသက်ရှင် လော့။ ငါ ပေးသောတရား ကို ကိုယ် မျက် ဆန် ကဲ့သို့ စောင့်လော့။
3 And bind them on your fingers, and write [them] on the table of your heart.
၃သင် ၏လက် ချောင်းတို့၌ ချည် ထား၍၊ သင် ၏ နှလုံး အင်း စာရင်း၌ ရေးမှတ် လော့။
4 Say that wisdom is your sister, and gain prudence as an acquaintance for yourself;
၄ပညာ ကို ကိုယ် နှမ ဟူ၍၎င်း၊ ဉာဏ် ကို ကိုယ် ပေါက်ဘော် ဟူ၍၎င်း ခေါ် လော့။
5 that she may keep you from the strange and wicked woman, if she should assail you with flattering words.
၅သို့ပြုလျှင်သူတို့သည် အမျိုး ပျက်သောမိန်းမ ၊ နှုတ် နှင့် ချော့မော့ တတ်သော ပြည်တန်ဆာ မိန်းမလက်မှ သင့် ကို ကယ်တင် ကြလိမ့်မည်။
6 For she looks from a window out of her house into the streets, at one whom she may see of the senseless ones, a young man void of understanding,
၆ငါ့ အိမ် ပြတင်း ရွက်ကြားမှ ငါ ကြည့် ၍မြင်ရသောအမှု ဟူမူကား၊
7 passing by the corner in the passages near her house,
၇ဉာဏ် တိမ်သော အမျိုးသားချင်း စုကို ငါကြည့်ရှု စဉ်တွင်၊ ဉာဏ် မ ရှိသော လူ ပျို တယောက်သည်၊
8 and speaking, in the dark of the evening,
၈ထိုသို့သော မိန်းမ နေရာလမ်း ထောင့် အနား သို့ ရှောက်သွား သဖြင့် ၊
9 when there happens [to be] the stillness of night and of darkness:
၉မိုဃ်းချုပ် ၍ ညဦး အချိန် ၊ ညဉ့် နက် သော အချိန် ရောက်သောအခါ ၊ ထိုမိန်းမ နေရာ လမ်း သို့ လိုက် လေ၏။
10 and the woman meets him having the appearance of a harlot, that causes the hearts of young men to flutter.
၁၀ပြည်တန်ဆာ အဝတ်ကိုဝတ်၍ ၊ ဆန်းပြားသော မိန်းမ သည် ထိုသူ ကို ကြိုဆို ၏။
11 And she is fickle, and debauched, and her feet abide not at home.
၁၁ထို မိန်းမသည် ကျယ် သောအသံနှင့် ခိုင်မာ သောစိတ် သဘောရှိ၏။ ကိုယ် အိမ် ၌ မ နေ ၊ လည် တတ်၏။
12 For at one time she wanders without, and at [another] time she lies in wait in the streets, at every corner.
၁၂ခဏ အိမ် ပြင်၊ ခဏ လမ်း ထဲမှာနေလျက် ၊ လမ်း ထောင့် အရပ်ရပ် ၌ ချောင်းမြောင်း ၍ကြည့်တတ်၏။
13 Then she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said to him,
၁၃ထို လူပျိုကို တွေ့သောအခါ၊ ရဲ သောမျက်နှာ နှင့် ဘမ်း ဘက်နမ်းရှုပ် လျက်၊
14 I have a peace-offering; today I pay my vows:
၁၄ငါ ၌ မိဿဟာယ ပူဇော် သက္ကာရှိ၏။ ယနေ့ ငါ့ ဂတိ ဝတ်ကို ငါဖြေ ပြီ။
15 therefore I came forth to meet you, desiring your face; [and] I have found you.
၁၅ထိုကြောင့် သင့် ကို ကြိုဆို အံ့သောငှါ ငါထွက် လာပြီ။ သင့် မျက်နှာ ကို ကြိုးစားရှာ ၍ တွေ့ ပြီ။
16 I have spread my bed with sheets, and I have covered it with double tapestry from Egypt.
၁၆ငါ့ ခုတင် ကိုချယ် လှယ်သော အိပ်ရာခင်း နှင့်၎င်း၊ အဲဂုတ္တု ပိတ်ချော နှင့်၎င်း ပြင်ဆင် ပြီ။
17 I have sprinkled my couch with saffron, and my house with cinnamon.
၁၇ငါ့ မွေ့ရာ ကို မုရန် ၊ အကျော် ၊ သစ်ကြံပိုး နှင့် ထုံ ပြီ။
18 Come, and let us enjoy love until the morning; come, and let us embrace in love.
၁၈လာ ပါ၊ မိုဃ်းလင်း သည်တိုင်အောင် ကာမ ရာဂ စိတ်ကို ဖြေ ကြကုန်အံ့။ မေထုန် ပြု၍ မွေ့လျော်ကြကုန်အံ့။
19 For my husband is not at home, but is gone on a long journey,
၁၉ငါ့အရှင် သည် အိမ် မှာ မ ရှိ။ ငွေ အိတ် ကို ဆောင် လျက်ဝေး သော အရပ် သို့ သွား ပြီ။
20 having taken in his hand a bundle of money: after many days he will return to his house.
၂၀ပွဲ နေ့ ရောက်မှသာ ပြန် လာလိမ့်မည်ဟု၊
21 So with much converse she prevailed on him to go astray, and with the snares of her lips forced him from [the right path].
၂၁ချစ် ဘွယ်သော စကားနှင့် ထိုသူ ကို သွေးဆောင် ၍ ချော့မော့ တတ်သောနှုတ်ခမ်းနှင့် နိုင် သဖြင့်၊
22 And he followed her, being gently led on, and [that] as an ox is led to the slaughter, and as a dog to bonds, or as a hart shot in the liver with an arrow:
၂၂နွား သည်အသေခံ ရာသို့ လိုက် သကဲ့သို့ ၎င်း ၊ သမင်ဒရယ်သည် မိမိ အသည်း ၌ မြှား မ ထိုး မှီတိုင်အောင်၊ ဘမ်းမိရာထဲသို့ ဝင်သကဲ့သို့ ၎င်း၊
23 and he hastens as a bird into a snare, not knowing that he is running for [his] life.
၂၃ငှက် သည် မိမိ အသက် ဆုံးစေခြင်းငှါ ထောင် မှန်းကိုမ ရိပ်မိ ဘဲ၊ ကျော့ကွင်း ထဲသို့ အလျင် အမြန်ဝင်သကဲ့သို့ ၎င်း၊ လူပျိုသည် ထိုမိန်းမ နောက် သို့ ချက်ခြင်း လိုက်သွား တတ်၏။
24 Now then, [my] son, listen to me, and attend to the words of my mouth.
၂၄သို့ဖြစ်၍ ငါ့သား တို့၊ ငါ့ စကားကို နားထောင် ၍ ငါ ဟောပြော ချက်တို့ကို မှတ် ကျုံးကြလော့။
25 Let not your heart turn aside to her ways:
၂၅ထိုသို့သော မိန်းမ နေရာလမ်း ကို စိတ် မ ငဲ့ကွက် နှင့်။ သူ ကျင်လည်သော လမ်း ခရီးသို့ လွှဲ ၍မ လိုက်နှင့်။
26 for she has wounded and cast down many, and those whom she has slain are innumerable.
၂၆အကြောင်း မူကား၊ သူသည်စစ်သူရဲ အများ တို့ကို လှဲ လေပြီ။ ခွန်အား ကြီးသော သူအများ တို့ကိုသတ် လေပြီ။
