Proverbs 2
1 [My] son, if you will receive the utterance of my commandment, and hide it with you;
Wiilkaygiiyow, haddaad erayadayda aqbashid, Oo aad amarradayda qalbigaaga ku haysatid,
2 your ear shall listen to wisdom; you shall also apply your heart to understanding, and shall apply it to the instruction of your son.
Si aad dhegta xigmadda ugu dhigtid, Oo aad qalbigaagana waxgarashada ugu qabatid;
3 For it you shall call to wisdom, and utter your voice for understanding;
Haddaad wax-kala-garashada ka daba qaylisid, Oo aad codkaaga waxgarashada kor ugu qaaddid;
4 and if you shall seek it as silver, and search diligently for it as for treasures;
Haddaad iyada u raadisid sida lacagta oo kale, Oo aad u doondoontid sida maal qarsoon,
5 then shall you understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
Markaas waxaad garan doontaa Rabbiga ka cabsashadiisa, Oo waxaad heli doontaa aqoonta Ilaah.
6 For the Lord gives wisdom; and from his presence [come] knowledge and understanding,
Waayo, Rabbigu isagaa bixiya xigmadda, Oo afkiisa waxaa ka soo baxa aqoonta iyo waxgarashada.
7 and he treasures up salvation for them that walk uprightly: he will protect their way;
Isagu kuwa xaqa ah xigmad buu u kaydiyaa, Oo kuwa daacadnimada u socdana waa u gaashaan.
8 that he may guard the righteous ways: and he will preserve the way of them that fear him.
Isagu wuxuu dhawraa waddooyinka garta, Oo wuxuu xannaaneeyaa jidka quduusiintiisa.
9 Then shall you understand righteousness, and judgment; and shall direct all your course aright.
Markaasaad garan doontaa xaqnimada, iyo garta, Iyo caaddilnimada, iyo jid kasta oo wanaagsan.
10 For if wisdom shall come into your understanding, and discernment shall seem pleasing to your soul,
Waayo, waxaa qalbigaaga soo geli doonta xigmadda, Oo aqoontuna waxay ka farxin doontaa naftaada;
11 good counsel shall guard you, and holy understanding shall keep you;
Digtoonaanta baa ku xanaanayn doonta, Oo waxaa ku dhawri doonta waxgarashada,
12 to deliver you from the evil way, and from the man that speaks nothing faithfully.
Si lagaaga samatabbixiyo jidka kan sharka ah, Iyo dadka waxyaalaha qalloocan ku hadla,
13 Alas [for those] who forsake right paths, to walk in ways of darkness;
Oo qummanaanta waddooyinkeeda ka taga, Si ay jidadka gudcurka ugu socdaan,
14 who rejoice in evils, and delight in wicked perverseness;
Oo ay ku reyreeyaan inay xumaan falaan, Oo ay qalloocnaanta kan sharkaa ku farxaan;
15 whose paths are crooked, and their courses winding;
Oo jidadkoodu maroorsan yihiin, Oo waddooyinkooduna qalloocan yihiin,
16 to remove you far from the straight way, and to estrange you from a righteous purpose. [My] son, let not evil counsel overtake you,
In lagaa samatabbixiyo naagta qalaad, Xataa naagta qalaad oo hadalladeeda kugu sasabata,
17 [of her] who has forsaken the instruction of her youth, and forgotten the covenant of God.
Taasoo ka tagta horseedkii yaraanteeda, Oo illowda axdigii Ilaaheeda;
18 For she has fixed her house near death, and [guided] her wheels near Hades with the giants.
Waayo, gurigeedu wuxuu ku foororaa dhimasho, Oo waddooyinkeeduna waxay ku dhaadhacaan kuwii dhintay.
19 None that go by her shall return, neither shall they take hold of right paths, for they are not apprehended of the years of life.
Kuwa iyada u gala midkoodna sooma noqdo, Oo waddooyinka noloshana ma ay helaan.
20 For had they gone in good paths, they would have found the paths of righteousness easy.
Waa inaad ku socotid jidka dadka wanaagsan, Oo aad dhawrtid waddooyinka kuwa xaqa ah.
21 For the upright shall dwell in the earth, and the holy shall be left behind in it.
Waayo, kuwa qummanu dhulkay fadhiyi doonaan, Oo kuwa kaamilka ahuna way sii joogi doonaan.
22 The paths of the ungodly shall perish out of the earth, and transgressors shall be driven away from it.
Laakiinse kuwa sharkaa waa laga gooyn doonaa dhulka, Oo khaayinnadana waa laga rujin doonaa.
