< Numbers 30 >
1 And Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, saying, This [is] the thing which the Lord has commanded.
Mosis kpọkọtara ndị ndu ebo Izrel niile gwa ha sị: “Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị nyere nʼiwu:
2 Whatsoever man shall vow a vow to the Lord, or swear an oath, or bind himself with an obligation upon his soul, he shall not break his word; all that shall come out of his mouth he shall do.
Mgbe nwoke ọbụla kwere Onyenwe anyị nkwa, maọbụ ṅụọ iyi ime ihe ọbụla, ọ gaghị emebi nkwa dị otu a. Kama ọ ga-emezu ihe niile dịka o kwuru ya.
3 And if a woman shall vow a vow to the Lord, or bind herself with an obligation in her youth in her father's house; and her father should hear her vows and her obligations, wherewith she has bound her soul, and her father should hold his peace at her, then all her vows shall stand,
“Ọ bụrụ na nwaagbọghọ nọ nʼụlọ nna ya ekwe Onyenwe anyị nkwa maọbụ ṅụọ iyi ime ihe ọbụla,
4 and all the obligations with which she has bound her soul, shall remain to her.
ọ bụrụ na nna ya anụ mgbe ọ na-ekwe nkwa maọbụ ṅụọ iyi ime ihe ahụ, ma gba ya nkịtị, onye dị otu a aghaghị imezu nkwa niile ndị ahụ o kwere.
5 But if her father straitly forbid [her] in the day in which he shall hear all her vows and her obligations, which she has contracted upon her soul, they shall not stand; and the Lord shall hold her guiltless, because her father forbade her.
Ma ọ bụrụ na nna ya ajụ mgbe ọ nụrụ banyere ya na ọ gaghị emezu nkwa dị otu ahụ, mgbe ahụ, nkwa ahụ maọbụ iyi ọ ṅụrụ ga-abụ ihe efu. Onyenwe anyị ga-agbaghakwara ya, nʼihi na nna ya jụrụ na ọ ga-emezu nkwa ya.
6 But if she should be indeed married, and her vows be upon her according to the utterance of her lips, [the obligations] which she has contracted upon her soul;
“Ọ bụrụ na o mesịa lụọ dị, mgbe ọ ṅụsịrị iyi, maọbụ kwee nkwa nzuzu o kwesiri imezu,
7 and her husband should hear, and hold his peace at her in the day in which he should hear, then thus shall all her vows be binding, and her obligations, which she has contracted upon her soul shall stand.
di ya nụ banyere ya ma gba ya nkịtị nʼụbọchị ahụ ọ nụrụ ya, nkwa ahụ ga-eguzogide, ọ ga-emezu ya.
8 But if her husband should straitly forbid [her] in the day in which he should hear her, none of her vows or obligations which she has contracted upon her soul shall stand, because her husband has disallowed her, and the Lord shall hold her guiltless.
Ma ọ bụrụ na di ya ajụ ịnabata nkwa ahụ, maọbụ ọṅụṅụ iyi nzuzu ahụ, ọjụjụ di ya jụrụ nkwa ahụ ga-eme ka iyi ahụ maọbụ nkwa ahụ ghara ịdị ire. Onyenwe anyị ga-agbaghakwara ya.
9 And the vow of a widow and of her that is put away, whatever she shall bind upon her soul, shall stand to her.
“Ma nkwa ọbụla nke nwanyị di ya nwụrụ maọbụ nwanyị ya na di ya kewara, ihe ọbụla nke o ji ọnụ ya kwuo ka ọ ghaghị imezu.
10 And if her vow [be made] in the house of her husband, or the obligation upon her soul with an oath,
“Ma ọ bụrụ na nwanyị ya na di ya bi e kwee nkwa maọbụ site na kwagide ṅụọ iyi,
11 and her husband should hear, and hold his peace at her, and not disallow her, then all her vows shall stand, and all the obligations which she contracted against her soul, shall stand against her.
di ya nụ ihe banyere ya, ma gba nkịtị maọbụ ogbochighị ya, mgbe ahụ, ịṅụ iyi na nkwa ndị ahụ niile nke o kwere ga-eguzo.
12 But if her husband should utterly cancel the vow in the day in which he shall hear it, none of the things which shall proceed out of her lips in her vows, and in the obligations [contracted] upon her soul, shall stand to her; her husband has cancelled them, and the Lord shall hold her guiltless.
Ma ọ bụrụ na di ya jụrụ ikwenye ka nkwa ahụ dịgide nʼụbọchị mbụ ọ nụrụ ya, nkwa ahụ maọbụ ọṅụṅụ iyi ahụ aghọọla ihe efu. Onyenwe anyị ga-agbaghakwara ya.
13 Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict her soul, her husband shall confirm it to her, or her husband shall cancel it.
Ya mere, di ya nwere ike ịjụ, maọbụ mesie nkwa ahụ, maọbụ iyi ahụ ọ ṅụrụ ike.
14 But if he be wholly silent at her from day to day, then shall he bind upon her all her vows; and he shall confirm to her the obligations [which she has bound] upon herself, because he held his peace at her in the day in which he heard her.
Ọ bụrụ na di ya ekwughị ihe ọbụla site nʼotu ụbọchị ruo nʼụbọchị ọzọ, mgbe ahụ, o gosiri na o kwenyere ka nwunye ya mezuo nkwa maọbụ iyi ndị ahụ niile.
15 And if her husband should in any wise cancel [them] after the day in which he heard [them], then he shall bear his iniquity.
Ọ bụrụ na o mesịa jụ na nwunye ya agaghị emezu nkwa ahụ ọ kwere, ikpe ọmụma niile dị nʼihi emezughị nkwa ahụ dị ya nʼisi.”
16 These [are] the ordinances which the Lord commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, and between a father and daughter in [her] youth in the house of [her] father.
Ndị a bụ usoro iwu Onyenwe anyị nyere Mosis banyere mmekọrịta nke nwoke na nwunye ya. Ọ metụtakwara nna na nwa ya nwanyị onye bi nʼụlọ ya.
