Numbers 10
1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
१फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा,
2 Make to yourself two silver trumpets: you shall make them of beaten work; and they shall be to you for the purpose of calling the assembly, and of removing the camps.
२“चाँदी की दो तुरहियां गढ़कर बनाई जाए; तू उनको मण्डली के बुलाने, और छावनियों के प्रस्थान करने में काम में लाना।
3 And you shall sound with them, and all the congregation shall be gathered to the door of the tabernacle of witness.
३और जब वे दोनों फूँकी जाएँ, तब सारी मण्डली मिलापवाले तम्बू के द्वार पर तेरे पास इकट्ठी हो जाएँ।
4 And if they shall sound with one, all the rulers even the princes of Israel shall come to you.
४यदि एक ही तुरही फूँकी जाए, तो प्रधान लोग जो इस्राएल के हजारों के मुख्य पुरुष हैं तेरे पास इकट्ठे हो जाएँ।
5 And you shall sound an alarm, and the camps pitched eastward shall begin to move.
५जब तुम लोग साँस बाँधकर फूँको, तो पूर्व दिशा की छावनियों का प्रस्थान हो।
6 And you shall sound a second alarm, and the camps pitched southward shall move; and you shall sound a third alarm, and the camps pitched westward shall move forward; and you shall sound a fourth alarm, and they that encamp toward the north shall move forward: they shall sound an alarm at their departure.
६और जब तुम दूसरी बार साँस बाँधकर फूँको, तब दक्षिण दिशा की छावनियों का प्रस्थान हो। उनके प्रस्थान करने के लिये वे साँस बाँधकर फूँकें।
7 And whenever you shall gather the assembly, you shall sound, but not an alarm.
७जब लोगों को इकट्ठा करके सभा करनी हो तब भी फूँकना परन्तु साँस बाँधकर नहीं।
8 And the priests the sons of Aaron shall sound with the trumpets; and it shall be a perpetual ordinance for you throughout your generations.
८और हारून के पुत्र जो याजक हैं वे उन तुरहियों को फूँका करें। यह बात तुम्हारी पीढ़ी-पीढ़ी के लिये सर्वदा की विधि रहे।
9 And if you shall go forth to war in your land against your enemies that are opposed to you, then shall you sound with the trumpets; and you shall be had in remembrance before the Lord, and you shall be saved from your enemies.
९और जब तुम अपने देश में किसी सतानेवाले बैरी से लड़ने को निकलो, तब तुरहियों को साँस बाँधकर फूँकना, तब तुम्हारे परमेश्वर यहोवा को तुम्हारा स्मरण आएगा, और तुम अपने शत्रुओं से बचाए जाओगे।
10 And in the days of your gladness, and in your feasts, and in your new moons, you shall sound with the trumpets at your whole burnt offerings, and at the sacrifices of your peace-offerings; and there shall be a memorial for you before your God: I [am] the Lord your God.
१०अपने आनन्द के दिन में, और अपने नियत पर्वों में, और महीनों के आदि में, अपने होमबलियों और मेलबलियों के साथ उन तुरहियों को फूँकना; इससे तुम्हारे परमेश्वर को तुम्हारा स्मरण आएगा; मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर यहोवा हूँ।”
11 And it came to pass in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud went up from the tabernacle of witness.
११दूसरे वर्ष के दूसरे महीने के बीसवें दिन को बादल साक्षी के निवास के तम्बू पर से उठ गया,
12 And the children of Israel set forward with their baggage in the wilderness of Sina; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Pharan.
१२तब इस्राएली सीनै के जंगल में से निकलकर प्रस्थान करके निकले; और बादल पारान नामक जंगल में ठहर गया।
13 And the first rank departed by the word of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
१३उनका प्रस्थान यहोवा की उस आज्ञा के अनुसार जो उसने मूसा को दी थी आरम्भ हुआ।
14 And they first set in motion the order of the camp of the children of Juda with their host; and over their host [was] Naasson, son of Aminadab.
१४और सबसे पहले तो यहूदियों की छावनी के झण्डे का प्रस्थान हुआ, और वे दल बाँधकर चले; और उनका सेनापति अम्मीनादाब का पुत्र नहशोन था।
15 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, [was] Nathanael son of Sogar.
१५और इस्साकारियों के गोत्र का सेनापति सूआर का पुत्र नतनेल था।
16 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Zabulon, [was] Eliab the son of Chaelon.
१६और जबूलूनियों के गोत्र का सेनापति हेलोन का पुत्र एलीआब था।
17 And they shall take down the tabernacle, and the sons of Gedson shall set forward, and the sons of Merari, who bear the tabernacle.
१७तब निवास का तम्बू उतारा गया, और गेर्शोनियों और मरारियों ने जो निवास के तम्बू को उठाते थे प्रस्थान किया।
18 And the order of the camp of Ruben set forward with their host; and over their host [was] Elisur the son of Sediur.
१८फिर रूबेन की छावनी के झण्डे का कूच हुआ, और वे भी दल बनाकर चले; और उनका सेनापति शदेऊर का पुत्र एलीसूर था।
19 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Symeon, [was] Salamiel son of Surisadai.
१९और शिमोनियों के गोत्र का सेनापति सूरीशद्दै का पुत्र शलूमीएल था।
20 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad, [was] Elisaph the son of Raguel.
२०और गादियों के गोत्र का सेनापति दूएल का पुत्र एल्यासाप था।
21 And the sons of Caath shall set forward bearing the holy things, and [the others] shall set up the tabernacle until they arrive.
२१तब कहातियों ने पवित्र वस्तुओं को उठाए हुए प्रस्थान किया, और उनके पहुँचने तक गेर्शोनियों और मरारियों ने निवास के तम्बू को खड़ा कर दिया।
22 And the order of the camp of Ephraim shall set forward with their forces; and over their forces [was] Elisama the son of Semiud.
२२फिर एप्रैमियों की छावनी के झण्डे का कूच हुआ, और वे भी दल बनाकर चले; और उनका सेनापति अम्मीहूद का पुत्र एलीशामा था।
23 And over the forces of the tribes of the sons of Manasse, [was] Gamaliel the [son] of Phadassur.
२३और मनश्शेइयों के गोत्र का सेनापति पदासूर का पुत्र गम्लीएल था।
24 And over the forces of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, [was] Abidan the [son] of Gadeoni.
२४और बिन्यामीनियों के गोत्र का सेनापति गिदोनी का पुत्र अबीदान था।
25 And the order of the camp of the sons of Dan shall set forward the last of all the camps, with their forces: and over their forces [was] Achiezer the [son] of Amisadai.
२५फिर दानियों की छावनी जो सब छावनियों के पीछे थी, उसके झण्डे का प्रस्थान हुआ, और वे भी दल बनाकर चले; और उनका सेनापति अम्मीशद्दै का पुत्र अहीएजेर था।
26 And over the forces of the tribe of the sons of Aser, [was] Phageel the son of Echran.
२६और आशेरियों के गोत्र का सेनापति ओक्रान का पुत्र पगीएल था।
27 And over the forces of the tribe of the sons of Nephthali, [was] Achire the son of Aenan.
२७और नप्तालियों के गोत्र का सेनापति एनान का पुत्र अहीरा था।
28 These [are] the armies of the children of Israel; and they set forward with their forces.
२८इस्राएली इसी प्रकार अपने-अपने दलों के अनुसार प्रस्थान करते, और आगे बढ़ा करते थे।
29 And Moses said to Obab the son of Raguel the Madianite, the father-in-law of Moses, We are going forward to the place concerning which the Lord said, This will I give to you: Come with us, and we will do you good, for the Lord has spoken good concerning Israel.
२९मूसा ने अपने ससुर रूएल मिद्यानी के पुत्र होबाब से कहा, “हम लोग उस स्थान की यात्रा करते हैं जिसके विषय में यहोवा ने कहा है, ‘मैं उसे तुम को दूँगा’; इसलिए तू भी हमारे संग चल, और हम तेरी भलाई करेंगे; क्योंकि यहोवा ने इस्राएल के विषय में भला ही कहा है।”
30 And he said to him, I will not go, but [I will go] to my land and to my kindred.
३०होबाब ने उसे उत्तर दिया, “मैं नहीं जाऊँगा; मैं अपने देश और कुटुम्बियों में लौट जाऊँगा।”
31 And he said, Leave us not, because you have been with us in the wilderness, and you shall be an elder among us.
३१फिर मूसा ने कहा, “हमको न छोड़, क्योंकि जंगल में कहाँ-कहाँ डेरा खड़ा करना चाहिये, यह तुझे ही मालूम है, तू हमारे लिए आँखों का काम करना।
32 And it shall come to pass if you will go with us, it shall even come to pass that in whatever things the Lord shall do us good, we will also do you good.
३२और यदि तू हमारे संग चले, तो निश्चय जो भलाई यहोवा हम से करेगा उसी के अनुसार हम भी तुझ से वैसा ही करेंगे।”
33 And they departed from the mount of the Lord a three days' journey; and the ark of the covenant of the Lord went before them a three days' journey to provide rest for them.
३३फिर इस्राएलियों ने यहोवा के पर्वत से प्रस्थान करके तीन दिन की यात्रा की; और उन तीनों दिनों के मार्ग में यहोवा की वाचा का सन्दूक उनके लिये विश्राम का स्थान ढूँढ़ता हुआ उनके आगे-आगे चलता रहा।
34 And the cloud overshadowed them by day, when they departed from the camp.
३४और जब वे छावनी के स्थान से प्रस्थान करते थे तब दिन भर यहोवा का बादल उनके ऊपर छाया रहता था।
35 And it came to pass when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Arise, O Lord, and let your enemies be scattered: let all that hate you flee.
३५और जब जब सन्दूक का प्रस्थान होता था तब-तब मूसा यह कहा करता था, “हे यहोवा, उठ, और तेरे शत्रु तितर-बितर हो जाएँ, और तेरे बैरी तेरे सामने से भाग जाएँ।”
36 And in the resting he said, Turn again, O Lord, the thousands [and] tens of thousands in Israel.
३६और जब जब वह ठहर जाता था तब-तब मूसा कहा करता था, “हे यहोवा, हजारों-हजार इस्राएलियों में लौटकर आ जा।”
