< Numbers 10 >

1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Senyè a te pale avèk Moïse. Li te di li:
2 Make to yourself two silver trumpets: you shall make them of beaten work; and they shall be to you for the purpose of calling the assembly, and of removing the camps.
Fè pou ou menm de twonpèt an ajan, yon zèv ajan ki bat, ou va fè yo. Konsa, ou va sèvi ak yo pou fè tout asanble a rasanble, e pou fè kan yo pati.
3 And you shall sound with them, and all the congregation shall be gathered to the door of the tabernacle of witness.
Lè toude vin sone, tout kongregasyon an va rasanble yo menm anvè ou nan pòtay a tant asanble a.
4 And if they shall sound with one, all the rulers even the princes of Israel shall come to you.
Men si se yon sèl ki sone, alò, se chèf yo, tèt a dè milye an Israël yo ki va rasanble devan ou.
5 And you shall sound an alarm, and the camps pitched eastward shall begin to move.
Lè nou sone pou avèti, kan ki rete nan kote lès yo, va pati.
6 And you shall sound a second alarm, and the camps pitched southward shall move; and you shall sound a third alarm, and the camps pitched westward shall move forward; and you shall sound a fourth alarm, and they that encamp toward the north shall move forward: they shall sound an alarm at their departure.
Lè nou sone pou avèti yon dezyèm fwa, kan ki nan kote sid yo, va pati. Yon son avèti va soufle pou yo pati.
7 And whenever you shall gather the assembly, you shall sound, but not an alarm.
Sepandan, lè nou ap reyini asanble a, ou va soufle twonpèt yo, men pa avèk son avèti yo.
8 And the priests the sons of Aaron shall sound with the trumpets; and it shall be a perpetual ordinance for you throughout your generations.
Anplis, se prèt yo, fis a Aaron yo ki va soufle twonpèt yo. Konsa, sa va pou nou yon règleman pou tout tan pandan tout jenerasyon nou yo.
9 And if you shall go forth to war in your land against your enemies that are opposed to you, then shall you sound with the trumpets; and you shall be had in remembrance before the Lord, and you shall be saved from your enemies.
Lè nou fè lagè nan peyi nou kont advèsè ki vin atake nou yo, alò, nou va sone yon son avèti avèk twonpèt yo, pou nou kapab sonje devan SENYÈ a, Bondye nou an, e vin sove de lènmi nou yo.
10 And in the days of your gladness, and in your feasts, and in your new moons, you shall sound with the trumpets at your whole burnt offerings, and at the sacrifices of your peace-offerings; and there shall be a memorial for you before your God: I [am] the Lord your God.
“Osi, nan jou kè kontan yo, nan fèt apwente nou yo, ak nan premye jou nan mwa nou yo, nou va sone twonpèt yo sou ofrann brile nou yo, sou ofrann sakrifis lapè yo. Yo va tankou yon son pou nou menm devan Bondye nou an. Mwen se SENYÈ a, Bondye nou an.”
11 And it came to pass in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud went up from the tabernacle of witness.
Alò, nan dezyèm ane a, nan dezyèm mwa a, nan ventyèm nan mwa a, nwaj la te leve pa anwo tabènak temwayaj la.
12 And the children of Israel set forward with their baggage in the wilderness of Sina; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Pharan.
Konsa, fis Israël yo te pati nan vwayaj yo soti nan dezè a Sinaï a. Epi nwaj la te vin tan nan dezè Paran an.
13 And the first rank departed by the word of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
Konsa, yo te derape pou premye fwa selon kòmandman SENYÈ a, selon Moïse.
14 And they first set in motion the order of the camp of the children of Juda with their host; and over their host [was] Naasson, son of Aminadab.
Drapo kan Juda a selon lame pa yo, te sòti avan, avèk Nachschon, fis a Amminadab la sou lame pa li.

17 And they shall take down the tabernacle, and the sons of Gedson shall set forward, and the sons of Merari, who bear the tabernacle.
Tabènak la te vin demonte, epi fis a Guerschon yo avèk fis a Merari yo, ki t ap pote tabènak la, te pati.
18 And the order of the camp of Ruben set forward with their host; and over their host [was] Elisur the son of Sediur.
Apre, drapo kan Ruben an, selon lame pa yo te pati avèk Élitsur, fis a Schedéur a sou lame pa li.
19 And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Symeon, [was] Salamiel son of Surisadai.
Schelumiel, fis a Tsurischaddaï a te sou lame tribi a fis Siméon yo.
20 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad, [was] Elisaph the son of Raguel.
Élisaph, fis a Déuel la te sou lame tribi a fis Gad yo.
21 And the sons of Caath shall set forward bearing the holy things, and [the others] shall set up the tabernacle until they arrive.
Epi Kehath yo te derape. Yo t ap pote bagay sen yo. Lòt yo te gen tan monte tabènak avan ke yo te rive.
22 And the order of the camp of Ephraim shall set forward with their forces; and over their forces [was] Elisama the son of Semiud.
Apre, drapo a kan Ephraïm nan te pati, selon lame pa yo. Élischama, fis a Ammihud la te sou tèt lame pa li a.
23 And over the forces of the tribes of the sons of Manasse, [was] Gamaliel the [son] of Phadassur.
Gamaliel, fis a Pedahstsur te sou tèt lame tribi a fis Manassé yo.
24 And over the forces of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, [was] Abidan the [son] of Gadeoni.
Abidan, fis a Guideoni te sou tèt lame a fis Benjamin yo.
25 And the order of the camp of the sons of Dan shall set forward the last of all the camps, with their forces: and over their forces [was] Achiezer the [son] of Amisadai.
Drapo kan fis a Dan nan, selon lame yo, te fòme gad an aryè pou tout kan yo. Yo derape avèk Ahiézer, fis a Ammischaddaï sou tèt lame pa li a.
26 And over the forces of the tribe of the sons of Aser, [was] Phageel the son of Echran.
Paguiel, fis a Ocran an te sou tèt lame tribi a fis Aser yo.
27 And over the forces of the tribe of the sons of Nephthali, [was] Achire the son of Aenan.
Ahira, fis a Énan an, te sou tèt lame tribi a fis Nephtali yo.
28 These [are] the armies of the children of Israel; and they set forward with their forces.
Konsa te lòd vwayaj la a pou fis Israël yo selon lame pa yo, lè yo te vin pati.
29 And Moses said to Obab the son of Raguel the Madianite, the father-in-law of Moses, We are going forward to the place concerning which the Lord said, This will I give to you: Come with us, and we will do you good, for the Lord has spoken good concerning Israel.
30 And he said to him, I will not go, but [I will go] to my land and to my kindred.
Men li te di li: “Mwen p ap vini, men olye de sa, m ap ale nan peyi pa m avèk fanmi pa mwen yo.”
31 And he said, Leave us not, because you have been with us in the wilderness, and you shall be an elder among us.
Alò li te di: “Souple, pa kite nou, kòmsi ou konnen kote nou dwe fè kan nan dezè a, e ou va pou nou tankou zye nou.
32 And it shall come to pass if you will go with us, it shall even come to pass that in whatever things the Lord shall do us good, we will also do you good.
Se konsa sa va ye, ke si ou ale avèk nou, ke nenpòt sa ki bon ke SENYÈ a fè pou nou, nou va fè pou ou tou.”
33 And they departed from the mount of the Lord a three days' journey; and the ark of the covenant of the Lord went before them a three days' journey to provide rest for them.
Konsa yo te pati soti nan mòn SENYÈ a, yon vwayaj twa jou avèk lach temwayaj SENYÈ a ki te vwayaje pandan twa jou devan yo pou chache yon kote pou yo kab poze.
34 And the cloud overshadowed them by day, when they departed from the camp.
Nwaj SENYÈ a te sou yo nan lajounen lè yo te kite kan an.
35 And it came to pass when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Arise, O Lord, and let your enemies be scattered: let all that hate you flee.
Epi li te vin rive ke lè lach la te derape ke Moïse te di: “Leve O SENYÈ! Kite sila ki rayi Ou yo Sove ale devan Ou.”
36 And in the resting he said, Turn again, O Lord, the thousands [and] tens of thousands in Israel.
Lè l te vin poze li te di: “Retounen, O SENYÈ a vè bokou milye de Israël yo.”
