Nehemiah 11
1 And the chiefs of the people lived in Jerusalem: and the rest of the people cast lots, to bring one of [every] ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the [other] cities.
Voditelji ljudstva so prebivali pri Jeruzalemu. Ostali ljudje pa so prav tako metali žrebe, da privedejo enega izmed desetih, da prebiva v Jeruzalemu, svetemu mestu in devet delov, da prebivajo v drugih mestih.
2 And the people blessed all the men that volunteered to dwell in Jerusalem.
Ljudstvo je blagoslovilo vse može, ki so se voljno ponudili, da prebivajo v Jeruzalemu.
3 Now these [are] the chiefs of the province who lived in Jerusalem, and in the cities of Juda; [every] man lived in his possession in their cities: Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nathinim, and the children of the servants of Solomon.
Torej ti so vodje province, ki so prebivali v Jeruzalemu. Toda v judejskih mestih je vsak prebival na svoji posesti v svojih mestih, namreč Izrael, duhovniki, Lévijevci, Netinimci in otroci Salomonovih služabnikov.
4 And there lived in Jerusalem [some] of the children of Juda, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Juda; Athaia son of Azia, the son of Zacharia, the son of Samaria, the son of Saphatia, the son of Maleleel, and [some] of the sons of Phares;
V Jeruzalemu so prebivali nekateri izmed Judovih otrok in izmed Benjaminovih otrok. Izmed Judovih otrok: Atajá, sin Uzíjaha, sinú Zeharjá, sinú Amarjá, sinú Šefatjá, sinú Mahalaléla, izmed Perecovih otrok
5 and Maasia son of Baruch, son of Chalaza, son of Ozia, son of Adaia, son of Joarib, son of Zacharias, son of Seloni.
in Maasejája, sin Baruha, sinú Kolhozéja, sinú Hazajája, sinú Adajája, sinú Jojaríba, sinú Zeharjá, sinú Šilčana.
6 All the sons of Phares who lived in Jerusalem [were] four hundred and sixty-eight men of might.
Vseh Perecovih sinov, ki so prebivali v Jeruzalemu, je bilo štiristo oseminšestdeset hrabrih mož.
7 And these [were] the children of Benjamin; Selo son of Mesulam, son of Joad, son of Phadaia, son of Coleia, son of Maasias, son of Ethiel, son of Jesia.
To so Benjaminovi sinovi: Salú, sin Mešuláma, sinú Joéda, sinú Pedajá, sinú Kolajája, sinú Maasejája, sinú Itiéla, sinú Ješajája.
8 And after him Gebe, Seli, nine hundred and twenty-eight.
In za njim Gabáj, Saláj, devetsto osemindvajset.
9 And Joel son of Zechri [was] overseer over them: and Juda son of Asana was second in the city.
Zihríjev sin Joél je bil njihov nadzornik, Senuájev sin Juda pa je bil drugi nad mestom.
10 Of the priests: both Jadia son of Joarib, and Jachin.
Od duhovnikov: Jojaríbov sin Jedajá, Jahín.
11 Saraia, son of Elchia, son of Mesulam, son of Sadduc, son of Marioth, son of Aetoth, was over the house of God.
Serajá, sin Hilkijája, sinú Mešuláma, sinú Cadóka, sinú Merajóta, sinú Ahitúba, je bil poveljnik Božje hiše.
12 And their brethren doing the work of the house were eight hundred and twenty-two: and Adaia son of Jeroam, son of Phalalia, son of Amasi, son of Zacharia, son of Phassur, son of Melchia,
Njihovih bratov, ki so opravljali delo hiše, je bilo osemsto dvaindvajset. Adajá, sin Jeroháma, sinú Pelaljája, sinú Amcíja, sinú Zeharjá, sinú Pašhúrja, Malkijájevega sina
13 and his brethren, chiefs of families, two hundred and forty-two: and Amasia son of Esdriel, son of Mesarimith, son of Emmer,

14 and his brethren, mighty men of war, a hundred and twenty-eight: and [their] overseer [was] Badiel son of [one of the] great men.
in njihovi bratje, močni junaški možje, sto osemindvajset. Njihov nadzornik je bil Zabdiél, sin enega izmed velikih mož.
15 And of the Levites; Samaia, son of Esricam,
Tudi izmed Lévijevcev: Šemajá, sin Hašúba, sinú Azrikáma, sinú Hašabjája, sinú Buníja.
Šabetáj ter Jozabád izmed vodij Lévijevcev sta imela nadzor nad zunanjim poslom Božje hiše.
17 Matthanias son of Micha, and Jobeb son of Samui,
Matanjá, sin Miha, sinú Zabdíja, sinú Asáfa, je bil glavni, da prične zahvaljevanje v molitvi. Bakbukjá, drugi med njegovimi brati in Abdá, sin Šamúaja, sinú Galála, sinú Jedutúna.
18 two hundred and eighty-four.
Vseh Lévijevcev v svetem mestu je bilo dvesto štiriinosemdeset.
19 And the porters; Acub, Telamin, and their brethren, a hundred and seventy-two.
Poleg tega vratarji: Akúb, Talmón in njuni bratje, ki so varovali velika vrata, jih je bilo sto dvainsedemdeset.
Preostanek Izraela, od duhovnikov in Lévijevcev, je bil v vseh Judovih mestih, vsak v svoji dediščini.

22 And the overseer of the Levites [was] the son of Bani, son of Ozi, son of Asabia, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph the singers [some were] over the house of God,
Nadzornik Lévijevcev v Jeruzalemu je bil tudi Uzí, sin Baníja, sinú Hašabjája, sinú Matanjája, sinú Miha. Izmed Asáfovih sinov so bili pevci nad poslom Božje hiše.
23 For so was the king's commandment concerning them.
Kajti to je bila kraljeva zapoved glede njih, da naj bo določen delež za pevce, kar jim je pripadalo za vsak dan.
24 And Phathaia son of Baseza was in attendance on the king in every matter for the people,
Petahjá, sin Mešezabéla, izmed otrok Judovega sina Zeraha je bil pri kraljevi roki v vseh zadevah glede ljudstva.
25 and with regard to villages in their country district: and [some] of the children of Juda lived in Cariatharboc,
Glede vasi, z njihovimi polji, so nekateri izmed Judovih otrok prebivali pri Kirját Arbi in v njenih vaseh, pri Dibónu in v njegovih vaseh, pri Kabceélu in v njegovih vaseh,
26 and in Jesu,
pri Ješúi, pri Moládi, pri Bet Peletu,
27 and in Bersabee:
pri Hacár Šuál in pri Beeršébi in v njenih vaseh,
pri Ciklágu, pri Mehóni in v njegovih vaseh,
pri En Rimónu, pri Cori, pri Jarmútu,
30 And their villages [were] Lachis and her hands: and they pitched their tents in Bersabee.
Zanóahu, Adulámu in v njihovih vaseh, pri Lahíšu in njegovih poljih, pri Azéki in v njenih vaseh. In prebivali so od Beeršébe, do doline Hinóm.
31 And the children of Benjamin [lived] from Gabaa [to] Machmas.
Tudi otroci Benjamina iz Gebe so prebivali pri Mihmášu, Aji, Betelu in v njihovih vaseh
in pri Anatótu, Nobu, Ananjáju,
Hacórju, Rami, Gitájimu,
Hadídu, Cebojímu, Nebalátu,
Lodu in Onóju, dolini rokodelcev.
36 And of the Levites there were divisions to Juda [and] to Benjamin.
Izmed Lévijevcev so bili oddelki v Judu in v Benjaminu.
