Nehemiah 10

1 And over them that sealed were Neemias the Artasastha, son of Achalia, and Zedekias,

೫ಹಾರಿಮ್, ಮೆರೇಮೋತ್, ಓಬದ್ಯ,

6 Daniel, Gannathon, Baruch,

೬ದಾನೀಯೇಲ್, ಗಿನ್ನೆತೋನ್, ಬಾರೂಕ್,

7 Mesulam, Abia, Miamin,

೭ಮೆಷುಲ್ಲಾಮ್, ಅಬೀಯ, ಮಿಯ್ಯಾಮೀನ್,

8 Maazia, Belgai, Samaia; these [were] priests.

೮ಮಾಜ್ಯ, ಬಿಲ್ಗೈ, ಶೆಮಾಯ ಎಂಬ ಯಾಜಕರು.

9 And the Levites; Jesus the son of Azania, Banaiu of the sons of Enadad, Cadmiel

೯ಲೇವಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ: ಅಜನ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೇಷೂವ, ಹೇನಾದಾದ್, ಬಿನ್ನೂಯ್, ಕದ್ಮೀಯೇಲ್ ಎಂಬುವರು.

10 and his brethren, Sabania, Oduia, Calitan, Phelia, Anan,

೧೦ಇವರ ಬಂಧುಗಳಾದ ಶೆಬನ್ಯ, ಹೋದೀಯ. ಕೆಲೀಟ, ಪೆಲಾಯ, ಹಾನಾನ್,

11 Micha, Roob, Asebias,

೧೧ಮೀಕ, ರೆಹೋಬ್, ಹಷಬ್ಯ,

೨೭ಮಲ್ಲೂಕ್, ಹಾರಿಮ್, ಬಾನ ಎಂಬುವರು.

28 And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the porters, the singers, the Nathinim, and every one who drew off from the nations of the land to the law of God, their wives, their sons, their daughters, every one who had knowledge and understanding,

೨೮ಯಾಜಕರು, ಲೇವಿಯರು, ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರು, ಗಾಯಕರು, ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಸೇವಕರು ಉಳಿದ ಜನರು ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಅನ್ಯದೇಶದವರ ಗೊಡವೆಯನ್ನು ತೊರೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರು, ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಶಕ್ತರಾದ ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಇವರೊಡನೆ ಬಂದರು.

29 were urgent with their brethren, and bound them under a curse, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in the law of God, which was given by the hand of Moses, the servant of God; to keep and to do all the commandments of the Lord, and his judgments, and his ordinances;

೨೯ಮುಖಂಡರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡು, ತಾವು ದೇವರ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ದೇವರ ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಮವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ನಡೆಯುವುದಾಗಿ ಆಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ:

30 and that we will not, [they said, ]give our daughters to the people of the land, nor will we take their daughters to our sons.

೩೦ಈ ದೇಶನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅವರಿಂದ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

31 And [as for] the people of the land who bring wares and all [manner of] merchandise to sell on the sabbath-day, we [will] not buy of them on the sabbath or on the holy day: and we will leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.

೩೧ದೇಶನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಮಾರುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ತರುವ ಯಾವ ಸರಕುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಧಾನ್ಯವನ್ನೂ, ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಪ್ರತಿ ಏಳನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಸಾಗುವಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ಇತರರು ಕೊಡಬೇಕಾದ ಸಾಲವನ್ನೂ ಮನ್ನಾ ಮಾಡಿಬಿಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.

32 And we will impose ordinances upon ourselves, to levy on ourselves the third part of a didrachm yearly for the service of the house of our God;

೩೨ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಶೆಕೆಲಿನ ಮೂರನೆಯ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂಬ ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.

33 the show bread, and the continual meat-offering, and for the continual whole burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moon, for the feast, and for the holy things, and the sin-offerings, to make atonement for Israel, and for the works of the house of our God.

೩೩ಆ ಹಣವು ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡತಕ್ಕ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ, ನಿತ್ಯಧಾನ್ಯ, ನೈವೇದ್ಯ ಇವುಗಳಿಗಾಗಿಯೂ, ನಿತ್ಯ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮ, ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನ, ಅಮಾವಾಸ್ಯೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾತ್ರೆ ಉತ್ಸವ ಇವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮ, ಸಮಾಧಾನಯಜ್ಞ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಕ ಯಜ್ಞ ಇವುಗಳಿಗಾಗಿಯೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧವಾದ ಬೇರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಲಸಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗಾಗಿಯೂ ವೆಚ್ಚವಾಗಬೇಕು.

34 And we cast lots for the office of wood-bearing, [we] the priests, and the Levites, and the people, to bring [wood] into the house of our God, according to the house of our families, at certain set times, year by year, to burn on the altar of the Lord our God, as it is written in the law:

೩೪ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವಿಧಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಉರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ, ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷವೂ ನಿಯಮಿತ ಕಾಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ದೊರಕುವ ಹಾಗೆ, ಆಯಾ ಗೋತ್ರಾನುಸಾರ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ದಾನ ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕವರು ಇಂಥವರೇ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಯಾಜಕರೂ, ಲೇವಿಯರೂ, ಸಾಧಾರಣ ಜನರೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಚೀಟು ಹಾಕಿ ಗೊತ್ತುಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.

35 and to bring the first fruits of our land, and the first fruits of the fruit of every tree, year by year, into the house of the Lord:

೩೫ನಮ್ಮ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಬೆಳೆಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಮರಗಳ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷವೂ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದುಕೊಂಡುವೆವು.

36 the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstborn of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, for the priests that minister in the house of our God.

೩೬ನಮ್ಮ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಮಕ್ಕಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲೂ, ನಮ್ಮ ಪಶುಗಳ ಹಿಂಡುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಮರಿಗಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲೂ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವಿಧಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆವು. ನಮ್ಮ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಕರುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಆಡು, ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವೆವು.

37 And the first fruits of our corn, and the fruit of every tree, of wine, and of oil, will we bring to the priests to the treasury of the house of God; and a tithe of our land to the Levites: for the Levites themselves shall receive tithes in all the cities of the land we cultivate.

೩೭ನಾವು ದೇವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿ ಇಡತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರಥಮಫಲದ ಹಿಟ್ಟು, ಹಣ್ಣುಹಂಪಲು, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ, ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಮೊದಲಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾಜಕ ಸೇವೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದು ಇಡುವೆವು. ನಮ್ಮ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಹುಟ್ಟುವಳಿಯ ದಶಮಾಂಶವು ಲೇವಿಯರದಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಲೇವಿಯರು ತಾವೇ ಬಂದು, ನಮ್ಮ ಸಾಗುವಳಿಯ ಊರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಶೇಖರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

38 And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites in the tithe of the Levite: and the Levites shall bring up the tenth part of [their] tithe to the house of our God, into the treasuries of the house of God.

೩೮ಅವರು ದಶಮಾಂಶವನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವಾಗ ಆರೋನನ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಯಾಜಕನೊಬ್ಬನು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಲೇವಿಯರು ತಮಗೆ ದೊರಕಿರುವ ಭಾಗದ ದಶಮಾಂಶವನ್ನು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಭಂಡಾರದ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಬೇಕು.

39 For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring into the treasuries the first fruits of the corn, and wine, and oil; and there [are] the holy vessels, and the priests, and the ministers, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God.

೩೯ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೂ ಮತ್ತು ಲೇವಿಯರೂ ಧಾನ್ಯ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ, ಎಣ್ಣೆ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು, ದೇವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸತಕ್ಕ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದು ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಯಾಜಕರೂ, ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರು, ಗಾಯಕರು ಇರುವ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹಾಗು ಪವಿತ್ರಾಲಯದ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಇಡುವ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಎಂದೂ ಅಲಕ್ಷ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಬರೆದುಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
