Michaeas 3
1 And he shall say, Hear now these words, you heads of the house of Jacob, and you remnant of the house of Israel; is it not for you to know judgment?
Und ich sprach: Höret doch, ihr Häupter im Hause Jakob und ihr Fürsten im Hause Israel! Ihr solltet's billig sein, die das Recht wüßten.
2 [who] hate good, and seek evil; [who] tear their skins off them, and their flesh off their bones:
Aber ihr hasset das Gute und liebet das Arge; ihr schindet ihnen die Haut ab und das Fleisch von ihren Gebeinen
3 even as they devoured the flesh of my people, and stripped their skins off them, and broke their bones, and divided [them] as flesh for the caldron, and as meat for the pot,
und fresset das Fleisch meines Volkes; und wenn ihr ihnen die Haut abgezogen habt, zerbrecht ihr ihnen auch die Gebeine und zerlegt's wie in einen Topf und wie Fleisch in einen Kessel.
4 thus they shall cry to the Lord, but he shall not listen to them; and he shall turn away his face from them at that time, because they have done wickedly in their practices against themselves.
Darum, wenn ihr nun zum HERRN schreien werdet, wird er euch nicht erhören, sondern wird sein Angesicht vor euch verbergen zur selben Zeit, wie ihr mit euren bösen Wesen verdient habt.
5 Thus says the Lord concerning the prophets that lead my people astray, that bit with their teeth, and proclaim peace to them; and [when] nothing was put into their mouth, they raised up war against them:
So spricht der HERR wider die Propheten, so mein Volk verführen: Sie predigen es solle wohl gehen, wo man ihnen zu fressen gibt; wo man aber ihnen nichts ins Maul gibt, da predigen sie, es müsse Krieg kommen.
6 therefore there shall be night to you instead of a vision, and there shall be to you darkness instead of prophecy; and the sun shall go down upon the prophets, and the day shall be dark upon them.
Darum soll euer Gesicht zur Nacht und euer Wahrsagen zur Finsternis werden. Die Sonne soll über den Propheten untergehen und der Tag über ihnen finster werden.
7 And the seers of night-visions shall be ashamed, and the prophets shall be laughed to scorn: and all the people shall speak against them, because there shall be none to listen to them.
Und die Seher sollen zu Schanden und die Wahrsager zu Spott werden und müssen alle ihren Mund verhüllen, weil da kein Gotteswort sein wird.
8 Surely I will strengthen myself with the Spirit of the Lord, and of judgment, and of power, to declare to Jacob his transgressions, and to Israel his sins.
Ich aber bin voll Kraft und Geistes des HERRN, voll Rechts und Stärke, daß ich Jakob sein Übertreten und Israel seine Sünden anzeigen darf.
9 Hear now these words, you chiefs of the house of Jacob, and the remnant of the house of Israel, who hate judgment, and pervert all righteousness;
So hört doch dies, ihr Häupter im Hause Jakob und ihr Fürsten im Hause Israel, die ihr das Recht verschmäht und alles, was aufrichtig ist, verkehrt;
10 who build up Sion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.
die ihr Zion mit Blut baut und Jerusalem mit Unrecht:
11 The heads thereof have judged for gifts, and the priests thereof have answered for hire, and her prophets have divined for silver: and [yet] they have rested on the Lord, saying, Is not the Lord among us? no evil shall come upon us.
Ihre Häupter richten um Geschenke, ihre Priester lehren um Lohn, und ihre Propheten wahrsagen um Geld, verlassen sich auf den HERRN und sprechen: Ist nicht der HERR unter uns? Es kann kein Unglück über uns kommen.
12 Therefore on your account Sion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall be as a storehouse of fruits, and the mountain of the house as a grove of the forest.
Darum wird Zion um euretwillen wie ein Acker gepflügt werden, und Jerusalem wird zum Steinhaufen werden und der Berg des Tempels zu einer wilden Höhe.
