Leviticus 24
1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮೋಶೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,
2 Charge the children of Israel, and let them take for you pure olive oil beaten for the light, to burn a lamp continually,
“ಬೆಳಕಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೀಪಗಳು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಉರಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವಂತೆ ಅವರು ಕುಟ್ಟಿದ ಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಓಲಿವ್ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತರುವಂತೆ ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಬೇಕು.
3 outside the veil in the tabernacle of witness; and Aaron and his sons shall burn it from evening until morning before the Lord continually, a perpetual statute throughout your generations.
ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ಇರುವ ಪರದೆಯ ಹೊರಗೆ, ಆರೋನನು ಸಂಜೆಯಿಂದ ಉದಯದವರೆಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ದೀಪವನ್ನು ಸರಿಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಉರಿಸುತ್ತಿರಬೇಕು. ಈ ನಿಯಮವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ನಿಯಮವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
4 You shall burn the lamps on the pure lamp-stand before the Lord till the morrow.
ದೀಪಗಳು ಚೊಕ್ಕ ಬಂಗಾರದ ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಇರುವಂತೆ ಅವನು ಕ್ರಮಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು.
5 And you shall take fine flour, and make of it twelve loaves; each loaf shall be of two tenth parts.
“ನೀನು ನಯವಾದ ಹಿಟ್ಟನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಡಬೇಕು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಎರಡೆರಡು ಓಮರನಷ್ಟು ಇರಬೇಕು.
6 And you shall put them [in] two rows, each row [containing] six loaves, on the pure table before the Lord.
ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಚೊಕ್ಕ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಮೇಜಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆರರಂತೆ, ಎರಡು ಸಾಲುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಇಡಬೇಕು.
7 And you shall put on [each] row pure frankincense and salt; and [these things] shall be for loaves for a memorial, set forth before the Lord.
ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಇರುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಸಾಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಸಾಂಬ್ರಾಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಕಬೇಕು.
8 On the sabbath-day they shall be set forth before the Lord continually before the children of Israel, for an everlasting covenant.
ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕ್ರಮಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ಇದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
9 And they shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat them in the holy place: for this is their most holy portion of the offerings made to the Lord, a perpetual statute.
ಅದು ಆರೋನನ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಪುತ್ರರದಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ಅವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದು ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ನಿಯಮವಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಹಾಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವುದು.”
10 And there went forth a son of an Israelitish woman, and he was son of an Egyptian man among the sons of Israel; and they fought in the camp, the son of the Israelitish woman, and a man who was an Israelite.
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನವಳಾದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೂ, ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನವನಾದ ಪುರುಷನಿಗೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮಗನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಪಾಳ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನವಳಾದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಈ ಮಗನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪಾಳೆಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಗಳವಾಡಿದರು.
11 And the son of the Israelitish woman named THE NAME and curse; and they brought him to Moses: and his mother's name was Salomith, daughter of Dabri of the tribe of Dan.
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಮಗನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ದೂಷಿಸಿ, ಶಪಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದರು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಶೆಲೋಮಿತ್. ಇವಳು ದಾನ್ ಕುಲದ ದಿಬ್ರೀಯನ ಮಗಳು.
12 And they put him in ward, to judge him by the command of the Lord.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವಂತೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಾವಲಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
13 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮೋಶೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,
14 Bring forth him that cursed outside the camp, and all who heard shall lay their hands upon his head, and all the congregation shall stone him.
“ಶಪಿಸಿದವನನ್ನು ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಆಚೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿರಿ, ಅವನಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನಿಡಲಿ, ಸಭೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯಲಿ.
15 And speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them, Whosoever shall curse God shall bear his sin.
ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು, ‘ತನ್ನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸುವವನು, ತನ್ನ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
16 And he that names the name of the Lord, let him die the death: let all the congregation of Israel stone him with stones; whether he be a stranger or a native, let him die for naming the name of the Lord.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ದೂಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುವವನಿಗೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಮರಣವನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸಬೇಕು. ಸಭೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯಬೇಕು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸ್ವದೇಶೀಯನಾಗಿರಲಿ, ಪರಕೀಯನಾಗಿರಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ದೂಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ, ಅವನನ್ನು ಮರಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು.
17 And whoever shall strike a man and he die, let him die the death.
“‘ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದರೆ, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಡಬೇಕು.
18 And whoever shall strike a beast, and it shall die, let him render life for life.
ಪಶುವನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವವರು, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಪಶುವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು.
19 And whoever shall inflict a blemish on his neighbor, as he has done to him, so shall it be done to himself in return;
ಯಾರಾದರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಗೆ ಊನವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ, ಅವರು ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
20 bruise for bruise, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as any one may inflict a blemish on a man, so shall it be rendered to him.
ಮುರಿತಕ್ಕೆ ಮುರಿತ, ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣು, ಹಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹಲ್ಲು, ಅವರು ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಊನ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
21 Whosoever shall strike a man, and he shall die, let him die the death.
ಪಶುವನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವವರು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲುಕೊಡಬೇಕು. ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವವರನ್ನು ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು.
22 There shall be one judgment for the stranger and the native, for I [am] the Lord your God.
ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ವಿಧವಾದ ನಿಯಮವಿರಬೇಕು. ಸ್ವದೇಶಸ್ಥನಿಗೆ ಇರುವಂತೆಯೇ ಪರಕೀಯನಿಗೂ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಾನೇ.’”
23 And Moses spoke to the children of Israel, and they brought him that had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones: and the children of Israel did as the Lord commanded Moses.
ಶಪಿಸಿದವನನ್ನು ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದು, ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದನು. ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
