< Leviticus 13 >

1 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses and to Aaron saying.
2 If any man should have in the skin of his flesh a bright clear spot, and there should be in the skin of his flesh a plague of leprosy, he shall be brought to Aaron the priest, or to one of his sons the priests.
Anyone if it will be on [the] skin of flesh his a swelling or flaking skin or a bright spot and it will become on [the] skin of flesh his a plague of a serious skin disease and he will be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of sons his the priests.
3 And the priest shall view the spot in the skin of his flesh; and [if] the hair in the spot be changed [to] white, and the appearance of the spot be below the skin of the flesh, it is a plague of leprosy; and the priest shall look upon it, and pronounce him unclean.
And he will see the priest the plague on [the] skin of the flesh and [the] hair in the plague it has turned - white and [the] appearance of the plague [is] deep more than [the] skin of flesh his [is] a plague of a serious skin disease it and he will see it the priest and he will declare unclean him.
4 But if the spot be clear and white in the skin of his flesh, yet the appearance of it be not deep below the skin, and its hair have not changed [itself for] white hair, but it is dark, then the priest shall separate [him that has] the spot seven days;
And if [is] a bright spot white it on [the] skin of flesh his and [is] deep not appearance its more than the skin and hair its not it has turned white and he will shut up the priest the plagued [person] seven days.
5 and the priest shall look on the spot the seventh day; and, behold, [if] the spot remains before him, [if] the spot has not spread in the skin, then the priest shall separate him the second time seven days.
And he will see it the priest on the day seventh and there! the plague it has stayed in view his not it has spread the plague in the skin and he will shut up him the priest seven days a second.
6 And the priest shall look upon him the second time on the seventh day; and, behold, [if] the spot be dark, [and] the spot have not spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; for it is a [mere] mark, and the man shall wash his garments and be clean.
And he will see the priest it on the day seventh a second [time] and there! it has become dull the plague and not it has spread the plague in the skin and he will declare pure him the priest [is] a skin rash it and he will wash garments his and he will be pure.
7 But if the bright spot should have changed and spread in the skin, after the priest has seen him for the purpose of purifying him, then shall he appear the second time to the priest,
And if certainly it will spread the skin rash in the skin after he has presented himself to the priest for purification his and he will present himself a second [time] to the priest.
8 and the priest shall look upon him; and, behold, [if] the mark have spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a leprosy.
And he will see the priest and there! it has spread the skin rash in the skin and he will declare unclean him the priest [is] a serious skin disease it.
9 And if a man have a plague of leprosy, then he shall come to the priest;
A plague of a serious skin disease if it will be on anyone and he will be brought to the priest.
10 and the priest shall look, and, behold, if it is a white spot in the skin, and it has changed the hair to white, and [there be] some of the sound part of the quick flesh in the sore—
And he will see the priest and there! a swelling white [is] in the skin and it it has turned [the] hair white and a raw spot of flesh living [is] in the swelling.
11 it is a leprosy waxing old in the skin of the flesh; and the priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall separate him, because he is unclean.
[is] a serious skin disease Grown old it in [the] skin of flesh his and he will declare unclean him the priest not he will shut up him for [is] unclean he.
12 And if the leprosy should have come out very evidently in the skin, and the leprosy should cover all the skin of the patient from the head to the feet, wherever the priest shall look;
And if certainly it will break out the serious skin disease on the skin and it will cover the serious skin disease all [the] skin of the plagued [person] from head his and to feet his to all [the] appearance of [the] eyes of the priest.
13 then the priest shall look, and, behold, the leprosy has covered all the skin of the flesh; and the priest shall pronounce him clean of the plague, because it has changed all to white, it is clean.
And he will see the priest and there! it has covered the serious skin disease all flesh his and he will declare pure the plagued [person] all of him it has turned white [is] pure he.
14 But on whatever day the quick flesh shall appear on him, he shall be pronounced unclean.
And on [the] day appears on him flesh living he will be unclean.
15 And the priest shall look upon the sound flesh, and the sound flesh shall prove him to be unclean; for it is unclean, it is a leprosy.
And he will see the priest the flesh living and he will declare unclean him the flesh living [is] unclean it [is] a serious skin disease it.
16 But if the sound flesh be restored and changed [to] white, then shall he come to the priest;
Or if it will return the flesh living and it will be turned to white and he will go to the priest.
17 and the priest shall see [him], and, behold, [if] the plague is turned white, then the priest shall pronounce the patient clean: he is clean.
And he will see it the priest and there! it has been turned the plague to white and he will declare pure the priest the plagued [person] [is] pure he.
18 And if the flesh should have become an ulcer in his skin, and should be healed,
And flesh if it will be on it on skin its a boil and it will be healed.
19 and there should be in the place of the ulcer a white sore, or [one] looking white and bright, or fiery, and it shall be seen by the priest;
And it will be in [the] place of the boil a swelling white or a bright spot white reddish and he will present himself to the priest.
20 then the priest shall look, and, behold, if the appearance be beneath the skin, and its hair has changed to white, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; because it is a leprosy, it has broken out in the ulcer.
And he will see the priest and there! appearance its [is] deep more than the skin and hair its it has turned white and he will declare unclean him the priest [is] a plague of a serious skin disease it in the boil it has broken out.
21 But if the priest look, and behold there is no white hair on it, and it be not below the skin of the flesh, and it be dark-colored; then the priest shall separate him seven days.
And if - he will see it the priest and there! there not in it [is] hair white and [is] deep not it more than the skin and it [is] dull and he will shut up him the priest seven days.
22 But if it manifestly spread over the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy; it has broken out in the ulcer.
And if certainly it will spread in the skin and he will declare unclean the priest him [is] a plague it.
23 But if the bright spot should remain in its place and not spread, it is the scar of the ulcer; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
And if in place its it will stay the bright spot not it has spread [is] [the] scar of the boil it and he will declare pure him the priest.
24 And if the flesh be in his skin [in a state of] fiery inflammation, and there should be in his skin the part which is healed of the inflammation, bright, clear, and white, suffused with red or very white;
Or flesh if it will be on skin its a burn of fire and it will be [the] raw spot of the burn a bright spot white reddish or white.
25 then the priest shall look upon him, and, behold, [if] the hair being white is changed to a bright color, and its appearance is lower than the skin, it is a leprosy; it has broken out in the inflammation, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy.
And he will see it the priest and there! it has been turned [the] hair white in the bright spot and appearance its [is] deep more than the skin [is] a serious skin disease it in the burn it has broken out and he will declare unclean him the priest [is] a plague of a serious skin disease it.
26 But if the priest should look, and, behold, there is not in the bright spot any white hair, and it should not be lower than the skin, and it should be dark, then the priest shall separate him seven days.
And if - he will see it the priest and there! there not in the bright spot [is] hair white and [is] deep not it more than the skin and it [is] dull and he will shut up him the priest seven days.
27 And the priest shall look upon him on the seventh day; and if the spot be much spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy, it has broken out in the ulcer.
And he will see it the priest on the day seventh certainly [if] it will spread in the skin and he will declare unclean the priest him [is] a plague of a serious skin disease it.
28 But if the bright spot remain stationary, and be not spread in the skin, but [the sore] should be dark, it is a scar of inflammation; and the priest shall pronounce him clean, for it is the mark of the inflammation.
And if in place its it will stay the bright spot not it has spread in the skin and it [is] dull [is] [the] swelling of the burn it and he will declare pure him the priest for [is] [the] scar of the burn it.
29 And if a man or a woman have in them a plague of leprosy in the head or the beard;
And man or a woman if it will be on him a plague on [the] head or in [the] beard.
30 then the priest shall look on the plague, and, behold, [if] the appearance of it be beneath the skin, and in it there be thin yellowish hair, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a scurf, it is a leprosy of the head or a leprosy of the beard.
And he will see the priest the plague and there! appearance its [is] deep more than the skin and [is] in it hair yellow thin and he will declare unclean him the priest [is] a scall it [is] a serious skin disease of the head or the beard it.
31 And if the priest should see the plague of the scurf, and, behold, the appearance of it be not beneath the skin, and there is no yellowish hair in it, then the priest shall set apart [him that has] the plague of the scurf seven days.
And if he will see the priest [the] plague of the scall and there! not appearance its [is] deep more than the skin and [is] hair black there not in it and he will shut up the priest [the] plagued [person] of the scall seven days.
32 And the priest shall look at the plague on the seventh day; and, behold, [if] the scurf be not spread, and there be no yellowish hair on it, and the appearance of the scurf is not hollow under the skin;
And he will see the priest the plague on the day seventh and there! not it has spread the scall and not it was in it hair yellow and [the] appearance of the scall not [is] deep more than the skin.
33 then the skin shall be shaven, but the scurf shall not be shaven; and the priest shall set aside the person having the scurf the second time for seven days.
And he will shave himself and the scall not he will shave and he will shut up the priest the scall seven days a second.
34 And the priest shall see the scurf on the seventh day; and, behold, [if] the scurf is not spread in the skin after the man's being shaved, and the appearance of the scurf is not hollow beneath the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; and he shall wash his garments, and be clean.
And he will see the priest the scall on the day seventh and there! not it has spread the scall in the skin and appearance its not it [is] deep more than the skin and he will declare pure him the priest and he will wash garments his and he will be pure.
35 But if the scurf be indeed spread in the skin after he has been purified,
And if certainly it will spread the scall in the skin after purification his.
36 then the priest shall look, and, behold, [if] the scurf be spread in the skin, the priest shall not examine concerning the yellow hair, for he is unclean.
And he will see it the priest and there! it has spread the scall in the skin not he will seek the priest for the hair yellow [is] unclean he.
37 But if the scurf remain before [him] in its place, and a dark hair should have arisen in it, the scurf is healed: he is clean, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
And if in view his it has stayed the scall and hair black it has sprouted in it it has been healed the scall [is] pure he and he will declare pure him the priest.
38 And if a man or woman should have in the skin of their flesh spots of a bright whiteness,
And a man or a woman if it will be on [the] skin of flesh their bright spots bright spots white.
39 then the priest shall look; and, behold, there [being] bright spots of a bright whiteness in the skin of their flesh, it is a tetter; it burst forth in the skin of his flesh; he is clean.
And he will see the priest and there! [are] on [the] skin of flesh their bright spots dull white [is] a skin rash it it has broken out on the skin [is] pure he.
40 And if any one's head should lose the hair, he is [only] bald, he is clean.
And anyone if it will become bare head his [is] bald he [is] pure he.
41 And if his head should lose the hair in front, he is forehead bald: he is clean.
And if from [the] side of face his it will become bare head his [is] bald he [is] pure he.
42 And if there should be in his baldness of head, or his baldness of forehead, a white or fiery plague, it is leprosy in his baldness of head, or baldness of forehead.
And if it will be on the bald spot or on the bald forehead a plague white reddish [is] a serious skin disease [which is] breaking out it on bald spot his or on bald forehead his.
43 And the priest shall look upon him, and, behold, if the appearance of the plague be white or inflamed in his baldness of head or baldness in front, as the appearance of leprosy in the skin of his flesh,
And he will see it the priest and there! [the] swelling of the plague [is] white reddish on bald spot his or on bald forehead his like [the] appearance of a serious skin disease of skin of flesh.
44 he is a leprous man: the priest shall surely pronounce him unclean, his plague is in his head.
[is] a person [who] has a serious skin disease He [is] unclean he surely he will declare unclean him the priest [is] on head his plague his.
45 And the leper in whom the plague is, let his garments be ungirt, and his head uncovered; and let him have a covering put upon his mouth, and he shall be called unclean.
The [one who] has a serious skin disease whom [is] on him the plague garments his they will be torn and head his it will be let loose and over a moustache he will cover and unclean! - unclean! he will call out.
46 All the days in which the plague shall be upon him, being unclean, he shall be [esteemed] unclean; he shall dwell apart, his place of sojourn shall be without the camp.
All [the] days which the plague [is] on him he will be unclean [is] unclean he alone he will dwell [will be] from [the] outside of the camp dwelling his.
47 And if a garment have in it the plague of leprosy, a garment of wool, or a garment of flax,
And the clothing if it will be in it a plague of a serious disease in clothing of wool or in clothing of linen.
48 either in the warp or in the woof, or in the linen, or in the woollen threads, or in a skin, or in any workmanship of skin,
Or in warp or in woof of the linen and of the wool or in a hide or in every work of hide.
49 and the plague be greenish or reddish in the skin, or in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any utensil of skin, it is a plague of leprosy, and he shall show it to the priest.
And it will be the plague greenish - or reddish in the clothing or in the hide or in the warp or in the woof or in every article of hide [is] a plague of a serious disease it and it will be shown to the priest.
50 And the priest shall look upon the plague, and the priest shall set apart [that which has] the plague seven days.
And he will see the priest the plague and he will shut up the plague seven days.
51 And the priest shall look upon the plague on the seventh day; and if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp or in the woof, or in the skin, in whatever things skins may be used in their workmanship, the plague is a confirmed leprosy; it is unclean.
And he will see the plague on the day seventh if it has spread the plague in the clothing or in the warp or in the woof or in the hide to all that it will be made the hide into a product [is] a serious disease malignant the plague [is] unclean it.
52 He shall burn the garment, either the warp or woof in woollen garments or in flaxen, or in any utensil of skin, in which there may be the plague; because it is a confirmed leprosy; it shall be burnt with fire.
And he will burn the garment or the warp - or the woof in the wool or in the linen or every article of hide which it will be in it the plague for [is] a serious disease malignant it with fire it will be burned.
53 And if the priest should see, and the plague be not spread in the garments, either in the warp or in the woof, or in any utensil of skin,
And if he will see the priest and there! not it has spread the plague in the garment or in the warp or in the woof or in every article of hide.
54 then the priest shall give directions, and [one] shall wash that on which there may have been the plague, and the priest shall set it aside a second time for seven days.
And he will command the priest and they will wash [that] which [is] in it the plague and he will shut up it seven days a second.
55 And the priest shall look upon it after the plague has been washed; and [if] this, even the plague, has not changed its appearance, and the plague does not spread, it is unclean; it shall be burnt with fire: it is fixed in the garment, in the warp, or in the woof.
And he will see the priest after - was washed out the plague and there! not it has turned the plague eye its and the plague not it has spread [is] unclean it with fire you will burn it [is] a mildew it on bald spot its or on bald forehead its.
56 And if the priest should look, and the spot be dark after it has been washed, he shall tear it off from the garment, either from the warp or from the woof, or from the skin.
And if he has seen the priest and there! it has become dull the plague after was washed out it and he will tear it from the clothing or from the hide or from the warp or from the woof.
57 And if it should still appear in the garment, either in the warp or in the woof, or in any article of skin, it is a leprosy bursting forth: that wherein is the plague shall be burnt with fire.
And if it will appear again in the garment or in the warp or in the woof or in every article of hide [is] breaking out it with fire you will burn it [that] which [is] in it the plague.
58 And the garment, or the warp, or the woof, or any article of skin, which shall be washed, and the plague depart from it, shall also be washed again, and shall be clean.
And the garment or the warp or the woof or every article of hide which you will wash and it will depart from them the plague and it will be washed a second [time] and it will be pure.
59 This is the law of the plague of leprosy of a woollen or linen garment, either of the warp, or woof, or any leather article, to pronounce it clean or unclean.
This [is] [the] legal [procedure] of [the] plague of [the] serious disease of [the] clothing of wool - or of linen or the warp or the woof or every article of hide to declare pure it or to declare unclean it.
