Joshua 21
1 And the heads of the families of the sons of Levi drew near to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the [son] of Naue, and to the heads of families of the tribes of Israel.
௧அப்பொழுது லேவியர்களின் வம்சப்பிதாக்களின் தலைவர்கள்; கானான்தேசத்தில் இருக்கிற சீலோவிலே ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாரிடமும், நூனின் மகனாகிய யோசுவாவிடமும், இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுடைய கோத்திரப் பிதாக்களில் உள்ள தலைவர்களிடமும் வந்து:
2 And they spoke to them in Selo in the land of Chanaan, saying, The Lord gave commandment by Moses to give us cities to dwell in, and the country round about for our cattle.
௨நாங்கள் குடியிருக்கும் பட்டணங்களையும், எங்களுடைய மிருகஜீவனுக்காக வெளிநிலங்களையும் எங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கும்படி, யெகோவா மோசேயைக்கொண்டு கட்டளையிட்டாரே என்றார்கள்.
3 So the children of Israel gave to the Levites in their inheritance by the command of the Lord the cities and the country round.
௩யெகோவாவுடைய கட்டளையின்படியே, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் தங்களுடைய பங்குகளிலே லேவியர்களுக்குப் பட்டணங்களையும் அவைகளின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்.
4 And the lot came out for the children of Caath; and the sons of Aaron, the priests the Levites, had by lot thirteen cities out of the tribe of Juda, and out of the tribe of Symeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin.
௪கோகாத்தியர்களின் வம்சங்களுக்குச் சீட்டு விழுந்தது; அந்தச் சீட்டின்படி லேவியர்களில் ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோனின் சந்ததிக்கு யூதா கோத்திரத்திலும், சிமியோன் கோத்திரத்திலும், பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்திலும் கிடைத்த பட்டணங்கள் பதின்மூன்று.
5 And to the sons of Caath that were left were [given by] lot ten cities, out of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half tribe of Manasse.
௫கோகாத்தின் மற்ற வம்சங்களுக்கு, எப்பிராயீம் கோத்திரத்தின் வம்சங்களுக்குள்ளும், தாண் கோத்திரத்திலும், மனாசேயின் பாதிக் கோத்திரத்திலும், சீட்டினால் கிடைத்த பட்டணங்கள் பத்து.
6 And the sons of Gedson had thirteen cities, out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Aser, and out of the tribe of Nephthali, and out of the half tribe of Manasse in Basan.
௬கெர்சோன் வம்சத்தின் மக்களுக்கு, இசக்கார் கோத்திரத்தின் வம்சங்களுக்குள்ளும், ஆசேர் கோத்திரத்திலும், நப்தலி கோத்திரத்திலும், பாசானில் இருக்கிற மனாசேயின் பாதிக் கோத்திரத்திலும், சீட்டினால் கிடைத்த பட்டணங்கள் பதின்மூன்று.
7 And the sons of Merari according to their families had by lot twelve cities, out of the tribe of Ruben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zabulon.
௭மெராரி வம்சத்தின் மக்களுக்கு, அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படியே, ரூபன் கோத்திரத்திலும், காத் கோத்திரத்திலும், செபுலோன் கோத்திரத்திலும் கிடைத்த பட்டணங்கள் பன்னிரண்டு.
8 And the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities and their suburbs, as the Lord commanded Moses, by lot.
௮இந்தப் பட்டணங்களையும் அவைகளின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள், யெகோவா மோசேயைக்கொண்டு கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, சீட்டுப்போட்டு லேவியர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்.
9 And the tribe of the children of Juda, and the tribe of the children of Symeon, and [part] of the tribe of the children of Benjamin gave these cities, and they were assigned
௯லேவியின் கோத்திரத்தில் முதலாம் சீட்டைப்பெற்ற கோகாத்தியர்களின் வம்சங்களிலே இருக்கிற ஆரோனின் சந்ததியினர்களுக்கு,
10 to the sons of Aaron of the family of Caath of the sons of Levi, for the lot fell to these.
௧0யூதா கோத்திரத்திலும், சிமியோன் கோத்திரத்திலும், அவர்கள் கொடுத்தவைகளும் பெயர்பெயராகச் சொல்லப்பட்டவைகளுமான பட்டணங்களின் பெயர்களாவன:
11 And they gave to them Cariatharboc the metropolis of the sons of Enac; this is Chebron in the mountain [country] of Juda, and the suburbs round it.
௧௧யூதாவின் மலைத்தேசத்தில் ஆனாக்கின் தகப்பனாகிய அர்பாவின் பட்டணமான எபிரோனையும் அதைச் சுற்றியுள்ள வெளிநிலங்களையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்.
12 But the lands of the city, and its villages Joshua gave to the sons of Chaleb the son of Jephonne for a possession.
௧௨பட்டணத்தின் வயல்களையும் அதினுடைய கிராமங்களையும் எப்புன்னேயின் மகனாகிய காலேபுக்குச் சொந்தமாகக் கொடுத்தார்கள்.
13 And to the sons of Aaron he gave the city of refuge for the slayer, Chebron, and the suburbs belonging to it; and Lemna and the suburbs belonging to it;
௧௩இப்படியே கொலைசெய்தவனுக்கு அடைக்கலப்பட்டணமாக ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோனின் சந்ததியார்களுக்கு எபிரோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், லிப்னாவையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
14 and Aelom and its suburbs; and Tema and its suburbs;
௧௪யாத்தீரையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், எஸ்தெமொவாவையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
15 and Gella and its suburbs; and Dabir and its suburbs;
௧௫ஓலோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், தெபீரையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
16 and Asa and its suburbs; and Tany and its suburbs; and Baethsamys and its suburbs: nine cities from these two tribes.
௧௬ஆயீனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், யுத்தாவையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், பெத்ஷிமேசையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; அந்த இரண்டு கோத்திரங்களில் இருக்கிற பட்டணங்கள் ஒன்பது.
17 And from the tribe of Benjamin, Gabaon and its suburbs; and Gatheth and its suburbs;
௧௭பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்திலே அவர்களுக்குக் கிபியோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கேபாவையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
18 and Anathoth and its suburbs; and Gamala and its suburbs; four cities.
௧௮ஆனதோத்தையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், அல்மோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நான்கு.
19 All the cities of the sons of Aaron the priests, thirteen.
௧௯ஆசாரியர்களான ஆரோனுடைய சந்ததியார்களின் பட்டணங்களெல்லாம் அவைகளின் வெளிநிலங்களும் உட்பட பதின்மூன்று.
20 And to the families, [even] the sons of Caath the Levites, that were left of the sons of Caath, there was [given] their priests' city,
௨0லேவியர்களான கோகாத்தின் குடும்பத்தார்களில் மீதியான அவர்களுடைய மற்ற வம்சங்களுக்கு எப்பிராயீம் கோத்திரத்திலே அவர்களுக்குப் பங்குவீதமாக அவர்கள் கொடுத்த பட்டணங்களாவன:
21 out of the tribe of Ephraim; and they gave them the slayer's city of refuge, Sychem, and its suburbs, and Gazara and its appendages, and its suburbs;
௨௧கொலைசெய்தவனுக்கு அடைக்கலப்பட்டணமான எப்பிராயீமின் மலைத்தேசத்தில் இருக்கிற சீகேமையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், கேசேரையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
22 and Baethoron and its suburbs: four cities:
௨௨கிப்சாயீமையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், பெத்தொரோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நான்கு.
23 and the tribe of Dan, Helcothaim and its suburbs; and Gethedan and its suburbs:
௨௩தாண் கோத்திரத்திலே எல்தெக்கேயையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், கிபெத்தோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
24 and Aelon and its suburbs; and Getheremmon and its suburbs: four cities.
௨௪ஆயலோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், காத்ரிம்மோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நான்கு.
25 And out of the half tribe of Manasse, Tanach and its suburbs; and Jebatha and its suburbs; two cities.
௨௫மனாசேயின் பாதிக் கோத்திரத்திலே தானாகையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், காத்ரிம்மோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் இரண்டு.
26 In all [were given] ten cities, and the suburbs of each belonging to them, to the families of the sons of Caath that remained.
௨௬கோகாத் வம்சத்தின் மீதியான வம்சங்களுக்கு உண்டான பட்டணங்களெல்லாம் அவைகளின் வெளிநிலங்களும் உட்பட பத்து.
27 And [Joshua gave] to the sons of Gedson the Levites out of the other half tribe of Manasse cities set apart for the slayers, Gaulon in the country of Basan, and its suburbs; and Bosora and its suburbs; two cities.
௨௭லேவியர்களின் வம்சங்களிலே கெர்சோன் வம்சத்தார்களுக்கு மனாசேயின் பாதிக் கோத்திரத்தில் கொலை செய்தவனுக்கு அடைக்கலப்பட்டணமான பாசானிலுள்ள கோலானையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், பெயேஸ்திராவையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் இரண்டு.
28 And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kison and its suburbs; and Debba and its suburbs;
௨௮இசக்காரின் கோத்திரத்திலே கீசோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், தாபராத்தையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
29 and Remmath and its suburbs; and the well of Letters, and its suburbs; four cities.
௨௯யர்மூத்தையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், என்கன்னீமையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நான்கு.
30 And out of the tribe of Aser, Basella and its suburbs; and Dabbon and its suburbs;
௩0ஆசேரின் கோத்திரத்திலே மிஷயாலையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், அப்தோனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
31 and Chelcat and its suburbs; and Raab and its suburbs; four cities.
௩௧எல்காத்தையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், ரேகோபையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நான்கு.
32 And of the tribe of Nephthali, the city set apart for the slayer, Cades in Galilee, and its suburbs; and Nemmath, and its suburbs; and Themmon and its suburbs; three cities.
௩௨நப்தலி கோத்திரத்திலே கொலைசெய்தவனுக்கு அடைக்கலப்பட்டணமாக கலிலேயாவிலுள்ள கேதேசையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், அம்மோத்தோரையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், கர்தானையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் மூன்று.
33 All the cities of Gedson according to their families [were] thirteen cities.
௩௩கெர்சோனியர்களுக்கு அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படி உண்டான பட்டணங்களெல்லாம் அவைகளின் வெளிநிலங்களும் உட்பட பதின்மூன்று.
34 And to the family of the sons of Merari the Levites that remained, [he gave] out of the tribe of Zabulon, Maan and its suburbs; and Cades and its suburbs,
௩௪மற்ற லேவியர்களாகிய மெராரி வம்சங்களுக்குச் செபுலோன் கோத்திரத்திலே யொக்னியாமையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், கர்தாவையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
35 and Sella and its suburbs: three cities.
௩௫திம்னாவையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், நகலாலையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நான்கு.
36 And beyond Jordan over against Jericho, out of the tribe of Ruben, the city of refuge for the slayer, Bosor in the wilderness; Miso and its suburbs; and Jazer and its suburbs; and Decmon and its suburbs; and Mapha and its suburbs; four cities.
௩௬ரூபன் கோத்திரத்திலே பேசேரையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், யாகசாவையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
37 And out of the tribe of Gad the city of refuge for the slayer, both Ramoth in Galaad, and its suburbs; Camin and its suburbs; and Esbon and its suburbs; and Jazer and its suburbs: the cities [were] four in all.
௩௭கெதெமோத்தையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், மெபாகாத்தையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நான்கு.
௩௮காத் கோத்திரத்திலே கொலை செய்தவனுக்கு அடைக்கலப்பட்டணமாக, கீலேயாத்திலுள்ள ராமோத்தையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், மகனாயீமையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும்,
௩௯எஸ்போனையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும், யாசேரையும் அதினுடைய வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நான்கு.
40 All [these] cities [were given] to the sons of Merari according to the families of them that were left out of the tribe of Levi; and their limits were the twelve cities.
௪0இவைகளெல்லாம் லேவியர்களின் மற்ற வம்சங்களாகிய மெராரி வம்சத்தார்களுக்கு, அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படி கிடைத்த பட்டணங்கள்; அவர்களுடைய பங்குவீதம் பன்னிரண்டு பட்டணங்கள்.
41 All the cities of the Levites in the midst of the possession of the children of Israel, [were] forty-eight cities,
௪௧இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் சொந்தமாக்கியிருந்த தேசத்தின் நடுவிலே இருக்கிற லேவியர்களின் பட்டணங்களெல்லாம், அவைகளின் வெளிநிலங்களும் உட்பட நாற்பத்தெட்டு.
42 and their suburbs round about these cities: a city and the suburbs round about the city to all these cities.
௪௨இந்தப் பட்டணங்களில் ஒவ்வொன்றிற்கும் அதைச் சுற்றியுள்ள வெளிநிலங்கள் இருந்தது; எல்லாப் பட்டணங்களுக்கும் அப்படியே இருந்தது.
43 So the Lord gave to Israel all the land which he sware to give to their fathers: and they inherited it, and lived in it.
௪௩இந்தவிதமாகக் யெகோவா இஸ்ரவேலுக்குக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று அவர்களுடைய முற்பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்ட தேசத்தையெல்லாம் கொடுத்தார்; அவர்கள் அவைகளைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொண்டு, அவைகளிலே குடியிருந்தார்கள்.
44 And the Lord gave them rest round about, as he sware to their fathers: not one of all their enemies maintained his ground against them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hands.
௪௪யெகோவா அவர்களுடைய முற்பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டபடியெல்லாம் அவர்களைச் சுற்றிலும் யுத்தமில்லாமல் ஓய்ந்திருக்கச்செய்தார்; அவர்களுடைய எல்லா எதிரிகளிலும் ஒருவரும் அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கவில்லை; அவர்கள் எதிரிகளையெல்லாம் யெகோவா அவர்களுடைய கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்.
45 There failed not one of the good things which the Lord spoke to the children of Israel; all came to pass.
௪௫யெகோவா இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பத்தார்களுக்குச் சொல்லியிருந்த நல்ல வார்த்தைகளிலெல்லாம் ஒரு வார்த்தையும் தவறிப்போகவில்லை; எல்லாம் நிறைவேறினது.
