Joshua 21
1 And the heads of the families of the sons of Levi drew near to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the [son] of Naue, and to the heads of families of the tribes of Israel.
Și capii părinților leviților s-au apropiat de preotul Eleazar, și de Iosua, fiul lui Nun, și de capii părinților triburilor fiilor lui Israel.
2 And they spoke to them in Selo in the land of Chanaan, saying, The Lord gave commandment by Moses to give us cities to dwell in, and the country round about for our cattle.
Și le-au vorbit în Șilo, în țara Canaanului, spunând: DOMNUL a poruncit prin mâna lui Moise să ni se dea cetăți de locuit, cu împrejurimile lor pentru vitele noastre.
3 So the children of Israel gave to the Levites in their inheritance by the command of the Lord the cities and the country round.
Și copiii lui Israel au dat leviților din moștenirea lor, după porunca DOMNULUI, aceste cetăți și împrejurimile lor.
4 And the lot came out for the children of Caath; and the sons of Aaron, the priests the Levites, had by lot thirteen cities out of the tribe of Juda, and out of the tribe of Symeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin.
Și sorțul a ieșit pentru familiile chehatiților; și fiilor preotului Aaron, dintre leviți, le-au căzut prin sorț treisprezece cetăți din tribul lui Iuda, din tribul lui Simeon și din tribul lui Beniamin.
5 And to the sons of Caath that were left were [given by] lot ten cities, out of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half tribe of Manasse.
Și ceilalți copii ai lui Chehat au avut prin sorț zece cetăți din familiile tribului lui Efraim și din tribul lui Dan și din jumătatea tribului lui Manase.
6 And the sons of Gedson had thirteen cities, out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Aser, and out of the tribe of Nephthali, and out of the half tribe of Manasse in Basan.
Și copiii lui Gherșon au avut prin sorț treisprezece cetăți din familiile tribului lui Isahar și din tribul lui Așer și din tribul lui Neftali și din jumătatea tribului lui Manase, în Basan.
7 And the sons of Merari according to their families had by lot twelve cities, out of the tribe of Ruben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zabulon.
Copiii lui Merari, după familiile lor, au avut douăsprezece cetăți din tribul lui Ruben și din tribul lui Gad și din tribul lui Zabulon.
8 And the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities and their suburbs, as the Lord commanded Moses, by lot.
Și copiii lui Israel au dat prin sorț leviților cetățile acestea cu împrejurimile lor, așa cum poruncise DOMNUL prin mâna lui Moise.
9 And the tribe of the children of Juda, and the tribe of the children of Symeon, and [part] of the tribe of the children of Benjamin gave these cities, and they were assigned
Și au dat din tribul copiilor lui Iuda și din tribul fiilor lui Simeon cetățile acestea care au fost menționate pe nume,
10 to the sons of Aaron of the family of Caath of the sons of Levi, for the lot fell to these.
Și care au fost ale copiilor lui Aaron, din familiile chehatiților, dintre copiii lui Levi (fiindcă al lor a fost primul sorți).
11 And they gave to them Cariatharboc the metropolis of the sons of Enac; this is Chebron in the mountain [country] of Juda, and the suburbs round it.
Și le-au dat cetatea lui Arba, tatăl lui Anac, care este Hebron, în ținutul muntos al lui Iuda, cu împrejurimile ei.
12 But the lands of the city, and its villages Joshua gave to the sons of Chaleb the son of Jephonne for a possession.
Iar câmpiile cetății și satele ei le-au dat lui Caleb, fiul lui Iefune, ca stăpânire a sa.
13 And to the sons of Aaron he gave the city of refuge for the slayer, Chebron, and the suburbs belonging to it; and Lemna and the suburbs belonging to it;
Astfel au dat copiilor preotului Aaron cetatea de scăpare pentru ucigaș, Hebron, cu împrejurimile sale, și Libna cu împrejurimile sale,
14 and Aelom and its suburbs; and Tema and its suburbs;
Și Iatir cu împrejurimile sale și Eștemoa cu împrejurimile sale,
15 and Gella and its suburbs; and Dabir and its suburbs;
Și Holon cu împrejurimile sale și Debir cu împrejurimile sale,
16 and Asa and its suburbs; and Tany and its suburbs; and Baethsamys and its suburbs: nine cities from these two tribes.
Și Ain cu împrejurimile sale și Iuta cu împrejurimile sale și Bet-Șemeș cu împrejurimile sale; nouă cetăți din aceste două triburi.
17 And from the tribe of Benjamin, Gabaon and its suburbs; and Gatheth and its suburbs;
Și din tribul lui Beniamin: Gabaon cu împrejurimile sale și Gheba cu împrejurimile sale,
18 and Anathoth and its suburbs; and Gamala and its suburbs; four cities.
Și Anatot cu împrejurimile sale și Almon cu împrejurimile sale; patru cetăți.
19 All the cities of the sons of Aaron the priests, thirteen.
Toate cetățile fiilor lui Aaron, preoții, erau treisprezece cetăți cu împrejurimile lor.
20 And to the families, [even] the sons of Caath the Levites, that were left of the sons of Caath, there was [given] their priests' city,
Și familiilor fiilor lui Chehat, leviții rămași dintre copiii lui Chehat, li s-au dat cetățile din sorțul lor din tribul lui Efraim.
21 out of the tribe of Ephraim; and they gave them the slayer's city of refuge, Sychem, and its suburbs, and Gazara and its appendages, and its suburbs;
Și le-au dat cetatea de scăpare pentru ucigaș, Sihem, cu împrejurimile sale, în muntele lui Efraim și Ghezer cu împrejurimile sale,
22 and Baethoron and its suburbs: four cities:
Și Chibțaim cu împrejurimile sale și Bet-Horon cu împrejurimile sale; patru cetăți.
23 and the tribe of Dan, Helcothaim and its suburbs; and Gethedan and its suburbs:
Și din tribul lui Dan: Elteche cu împrejurimile sale și Ghibeton cu împrejurimile sale,
24 and Aelon and its suburbs; and Getheremmon and its suburbs: four cities.
Și Aialon cu împrejurimile sale și Gat-Rimon cu împrejurimile sale; patru cetăți.
25 And out of the half tribe of Manasse, Tanach and its suburbs; and Jebatha and its suburbs; two cities.
Și din jumătatea tribului lui Manase: Taanac cu împrejurimile sale și Gat-Rimon cu împrejurimile sale; două cetăți.
26 In all [were given] ten cities, and the suburbs of each belonging to them, to the families of the sons of Caath that remained.
Toate cetățile erau zece, cu împrejurimile lor, pentru familiile fiilor lui Chehat care au rămas.
27 And [Joshua gave] to the sons of Gedson the Levites out of the other half tribe of Manasse cities set apart for the slayers, Gaulon in the country of Basan, and its suburbs; and Bosora and its suburbs; two cities.
Și copiilor lui Gherșon, din familiile leviților, din cealaltă jumătate a tribului lui Manase le-au dat cetatea de scăpare pentru ucigaș, Golan, în Basan, cu împrejurimile sale și Beeștra cu împrejurimile sale; două cetăți.
28 And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kison and its suburbs; and Debba and its suburbs;
Și din tribul lui Isahar: Chișion cu împrejurimile sale, Dabarat cu împrejurimile sale,
29 and Remmath and its suburbs; and the well of Letters, and its suburbs; four cities.
Iarmut cu împrejurimile sale, En-Ganim cu împrejurimile sale; patru cetăți.
30 And out of the tribe of Aser, Basella and its suburbs; and Dabbon and its suburbs;
Și din tribul lui Așer: Mișeal cu împrejurimile sale, Abdon cu împrejurimile sale,
31 and Chelcat and its suburbs; and Raab and its suburbs; four cities.
Helcat cu împrejurimile sale și Rehob cu împrejurimile sale; patru cetăți.
32 And of the tribe of Nephthali, the city set apart for the slayer, Cades in Galilee, and its suburbs; and Nemmath, and its suburbs; and Themmon and its suburbs; three cities.
Și din tribul lui Neftali, cetatea de scăpare pentru ucigaș: Chedeș, în Galileea, cu împrejurimile sale și Hamot-Dor cu împrejurimile sale și Cartan cu împrejurimile sale; trei cetăți.
33 All the cities of Gedson according to their families [were] thirteen cities.
Toate cetățile gherșoniților, după familiile lor, erau treisprezece cetăți cu împrejurimile lor.
34 And to the family of the sons of Merari the Levites that remained, [he gave] out of the tribe of Zabulon, Maan and its suburbs; and Cades and its suburbs,
Și familiilor fiilor lui Merari, celor rămași dintre leviți, le-au dat din tribul lui Zabulon: Iocneam cu împrejurimile sale, Carta cu împrejurimile sale,
35 and Sella and its suburbs: three cities.
Dimna cu împrejurimile sale, Nahalal cu împrejurimile sale; patru cetăți.
36 And beyond Jordan over against Jericho, out of the tribe of Ruben, the city of refuge for the slayer, Bosor in the wilderness; Miso and its suburbs; and Jazer and its suburbs; and Decmon and its suburbs; and Mapha and its suburbs; four cities.
Și, din tribul lui Ruben: Bețer cu împrejurimile sale și Iahța cu împrejurimile sale,
37 And out of the tribe of Gad the city of refuge for the slayer, both Ramoth in Galaad, and its suburbs; Camin and its suburbs; and Esbon and its suburbs; and Jazer and its suburbs: the cities [were] four in all.
Chedemot cu împrejurimile sale și Mefaat cu împrejurimile sale: patru cetăți.
Și din tribul lui Gad, cetatea de scăpare pentru ucigaș: Ramot, în Galaad, cu împrejurimile sale și Mahanaim cu împrejurimile sale,
Hesbon cu împrejurimile sale și Iaezer cu împrejurimile sale: în total patru cetăți.
40 All [these] cities [were given] to the sons of Merari according to the families of them that were left out of the tribe of Levi; and their limits were the twelve cities.
Toate cetățile copiilor lui Merari care au rămas din familiile leviților, după familiile lor și sorțul lor, erau douăsprezece cetăți.
41 All the cities of the Levites in the midst of the possession of the children of Israel, [were] forty-eight cities,
Toate cetățile leviților în mijlocul stăpânirii fiilor lui Israel au fost patruzeci și opt de cetăți cu împrejurimile lor.
42 and their suburbs round about these cities: a city and the suburbs round about the city to all these cities.
Fiecare dintre aceste cetăți își avea împrejurimile ei de jur-împrejur; așa erau toate cetățile acestea.
43 So the Lord gave to Israel all the land which he sware to give to their fathers: and they inherited it, and lived in it.
Și DOMNUL i-a dat lui Israel toată țara pe care jurase s-o dea părinților lor; și ei au stăpânit-o și au locuit în ea.
44 And the Lord gave them rest round about, as he sware to their fathers: not one of all their enemies maintained his ground against them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hands.
Și DOMNUL le-a dat odihnă de jur-împrejur, potrivit cu tot ce le jurase părinților lor; și, dintre toți dușmanii lor, nu a stat în picioare niciun om înaintea lor; DOMNUL i-a dat pe toți dușmanii lor în mâna lor.
45 There failed not one of the good things which the Lord spoke to the children of Israel; all came to pass.
Nu a eșuat niciun lucru din toate lucrurile bune pe care le spusese DOMNUL, casei lui Israel; toate s-au împlinit.
