Joshua 18
1 And all the congregation of the children of Israel were assembled at Selo, and there they pitched the tabernacle of witness; and the land was subdued by them.
Y toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel se juntó en Silo, y asentaron allí el tabernáculo del testimonio: después que la tierra les fue sujeta.
2 And the sons of Israel remained, [even] those who [had] not received their inheritance, seven tribes.
Mas habían quedado en los hijos de Israel siete tribus, las cuales aun no habían partido su posesión.
3 And Joshua said to the sons of Israel, How long will you be slack to inherit the land, which the Lord our God has given you?
Y Josué dijo a los hijos de Israel: ¿Hasta cuando seréis negligentes para venir a poseer la tierra que os ha dado Jehová el Dios de vuestros padres?
4 Appoint of yourselves three men of each tribe, and let them rise up and go through the land, and let them describe it before me, as it will be proper to divide it.
Dad tres varones de cada tribu, para que yo los envíe; y que ellos se levanten y anden la tierra, y la dibujen conforme a sus heredades; y se tornen a mí.
5 And they came to him: and he divided to them seven portions, [saying], Juda shall stand to them a border southward, and the sons of Joseph shall stand to them northward.
Y repartirla han en siete partes, y Judá estará en su término al mediodía: y los de la casa de José estarán en el suyo al norte.
6 And do you divide the land into seven parts, and bring the description hither to me, and I will give you a lot before the Lord our God.
Vosotros pues dibujaréis la tierra en siete partes, y traerla heis a mí aquí: y yo os echaré las suertes aquí delante de Jehová nuestro Dios.
7 For the sons of Levi have no part among you; for the priesthood of the Lord [is] his portion; and Gad, and Ruben, and the half tribe of Manasse, have received their inheritance beyond Jordan eastward, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave to them.
Empero los Levitas ninguna parte tienen entre vosotros: porque el sacerdocio de Jehová es la heredad de ellos. Gad también y Rubén, y la media tribu de Manasés ya han recibido su heredad de la otra parte del Jordán al oriente, la cual les dio Moisés siervo de Jehová.
8 And the men rose up and went; and Joshua charged the men who went to explore the land, saying, Go and explore the land, and come to me, and I will bring you forth a lot here before the Lord in Selo.
Levantándose pues aquellos varones, fueron; y mandó Josué a los que iban para dibujar la tierra, diciéndoles: Id, y andád la tierra, y dibujádla: y tornád a mí, para que yo os eche las suertes aquí delante de Jehová en Silo.
9 And they went, and explored the land: and they viewed it, and described it according to the cities, seven parts in a book, and brought [the book] to Joshua.
Fueron pues aquellos varones, y pasearon la tierra dibujándola por las ciudades en siete partes en un libro, y tornaron a Josué al campo en Silo.
10 And Joshua cast the lot for them in Selo before the Lord.
Y Josué les echó las suertes delante de Jehová en Silo: y allí repartió Josué la tierra a los hijos de Israel por sus partes.
11 And the lot of the tribe of Benjamin came forth first according to their families: and the borders of their lot came forth between the children of Juda and the children of Joseph.
Y subió la suerte de la tribu de los hijos de Ben-jamín por sus familias: y salió el término de su suerte entre los hijos de Judá, y los hijos de José:
12 And their borders were northward: the borders shall go up from Jordan behind Jericho northward, and shall go up to the mountain westward, and the issue of it shall be Baethon of Mabdara.
Y fue el término de ellos al lado del norte desde el Jordán: y sube aquel término al lado de Jericó al norte; y sube al monte hacia el occidente, y viene a salir al desierto de Bet-aven:
13 And the borders will go forth thence to Luz, behind Luz, from the south of it; this is Baethel: and the borders shall go down to Maatarob Orech, to the hill country, which is southward of Baethoron the lower.
Y de allí pasa aquel término a Luza por el lado de Luza hacia el mediodía, esta es Bet-el. Y desciende este término de Atarotadar al monte que está al mediodía de Bet-orón la de abajo.
14 And the borders shall pass through and proceed to the part that looks toward the sea, on the south, from the mountain in front of Baethoron southward, and its termination shall be at Cariath-Baal, this is Cariath-Jarin, a city of the children of Juda; this is the part toward the west.
Y torna este término, y da vuelta al lado de la mar al mediodía hasta el monte que está delante de Bet-orón al mediodía: y viene a salir a Cariat-baal, que es Cariat-jarim, ciudad de los hijos de Judá. Este es el lado del occidente.
15 And the south side on the part of Cariath-Baal; and the borders shall go across to Gasin, to the fountain of the water of Naphtho.
Y el lado del mediodía es desde el cabo de Cariat-jarim: y sale el término al occidente, y sale a la fuente de las aguas de Neftoa.
16 And the borders shall extend down on one side, this is in front of the forest of Sonnam, which is on the side of Emec Raphain northward, and it shall come down to Gaeenna behind Jebusai southward: it shall come down to the fountain of Rogel.
Y desciende aqueste término al cabo del monte, que está delante del valle del hijo de Ennom que está en la campaña de los gigantes hacia el norte y desciende al valle de Ennom al lado del Jebuseo al mediodía, y de allí desciende a la fuente de Rogel,
17 And [the borders] shall go across to the fountain of Baethsamys:
Y del norte torna y sale a Ensemes, y de allí sale a Gelilot que está delante de la subida de Adommim, y descendía a la piedra de Boen hijo de Rubén:
18 and shall proceed to Galiloth, which is in front by the going up of Aethamin; and they shall come down to the stone of Baeon of the sons of Ruben; and shall pass over behind Baetharaba northward, and shall go down to the borders behind the sea northward.
Y pasa al lado que está delante de la campaña al norte, y desciende a los llanos.
19 And the termination of the borders shall be at the creek of the salt sea northward to the side of Jordan southward: these are their southern borders.
Y torna a pasar este término por el lado de Bet-hagla hacia el norte, y viene a salir el término a la lengua de la mar de la sal al norte, al cabo del Jordán al mediodía: este es el término de hacia el mediodía.
20 And Jordan shall be their boundary on the east: this [is] the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, these [are] their borders round about according to their families.
Y el Jordán acaba aqueste término al lado del oriente. Esta es la heredad de los hijos de Ben-jamín por sus términos al derredor conforme a sus familias.
21 And the cities of the children of Benjamin according to their families [were] Jericho, and Bethagaeo, and the Amecasis,
Las ciudades de la tribu de los hijos de Ben-jamín por sus familias, fueron, Jericó, Bet-hagla, y el valle de Casis,
22 and Baethabara, and Sara, and Besana,
Bet-araba, Samaraim, Bet-el,
23 and Aeein, and Phara, and Ephratha,
Avim, Afrara, Ofera,
24 and Carapha, and Cephira, and Moni, and Gabaa, twelve cities and their villages:
Cefer, Hermona, Ofni, y Gabee; doce ciudades con sus aldeas:
25 Gabaon, and Rama, and Beerotha;
Gabaón, Rama, Berot,
26 and Massema, and Miron, and Amoke;
Maspa, Chafara, Amosa,
27 and Phira, and Caphan, and Nacan, and Selecan, and Thareela,
Recem, Jarefel, Tarela,
28 and Jebus (this is Jerusalem); and Gabaoth, Jarim, thirteen cities, and their villages; this [is] the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin according to their families.
Sela, Elef, Jebús, que es Jerusalem, Gabaat, y Chariat; catorce ciudades con sus aldeas. Esta es la heredad de los hijos de Ben-jamín conforme a sus familias.
