< Job 41 >

1 But will you catch the serpent with a hook, and put a halter about his nose?
Boni, okoki koloba ngando na ndobo? Okoki kokanga lolemo na yango na singa?
2 Or will you fasten a ring in his nostril, and bore his lip with a clasp?
Okoki kokanga yango singa ya kekele na zolo? Okoki kotobola mbanga na yango na ndobo?
3 Will he address you with a petition? softly, with the voice of a suppliant?
Boni, ekobondela yo mingi? Ekoloba na yo maloba ya boboto?
4 And will he make a covenant with you? and will you take him for a perpetual servant?
Ekoki kosala boyokani elongo na yo mpo ete ekoma mowumbu na yo mpo na libela?
5 And will you play with him as with a bird? or bind him as a sparrow for a child?
Okoki kosakana na yango lokola ndeke? Okoki kokanga yango na singa mpo na kosepelisa bana na yo ya basi?
6 And do the nations feed upon him, and the nations of the Phoenicians share him?
Boni, lisanga ya balobi mbisi bakoki kosala na yango mombongo? Bakoki kokabola yango epai ya bateki?
7 And all the ships come together would not be able to bear the mere skin of his tail; neither [shall they carry] his head in fishing vessels.
Okoki kotobola mokongo na yango na makonga? Okoki kotobola moto na yango na ndobo oyo bakangelaka bambisi?
8 But you shall lay your hand upon him [once], remembering the war that is waged by his mouth; and let it not be done any more.
Tia loboko na yo na likolo na yango: soki okanisi etumba oyo okutani na yango, okozongela lisusu te kotia loboko na yo na likolo na yango.
9 Hast you not seen him? and have you not wondered at the things said [of him]?
Liboso ya ngando yango, elikya nyonso ya kolonga ekomaka pamba; soki kaka omoni yango, okweyi na somo.
10 Do you not fear because preparation has been made by me? for who is there that resists me?
Moto moko te ya tembe akoki kotungisa yango; boye nani akoki kotelemela ngai?
11 Or who will resist me, and abide, since the whole [world] under heaven is mine?
Nani adefisaki ngai eloko mpo ete nafuta niongo na ye? Nyonso oyo ezali na se ya Lola ezali ya ngai.
12 I will not be silent because of him: though because of his power [one] shall pity his antagonist.
Nakoki kokanga monoko te mpo na kozanga kolobela biteni na yango ya nzoto, makasi na yango mpe kitoko ya nzoto na yango.
13 Who will open the face of his garment? and who can enter within the fold of his breastplate?
Nani asila kolongola ngando poso na yango ya nzoto? Nani asila kokatisa kati-kati ya milongo mibale ya minu na yango?
14 Who will open the doors of his face? terror is round about his teeth.
Nani asila kofungola bibebu ya monoko na yango? Minu na yango etonda na somo.
15 His inwards are as brazen plates, and the texture of his [skin] as a smyrite stone.
Mokongo na yango esalema na milongo mibale ya nguba, ekangama elongo na ezipelo ya mabanga.
16 One [part] cleaves fast to another, and the air can’t come between them.
Ekangama moko na mosusu, mpe mopepe ekoki koleka kati na yango te.
17 They will remain united each to the other: they are closely joined, and can’t be separated.
Ekangama moko na mosusu, esimbama elongo mpe ekoki kokabwana te.
18 At his sneezing a light shines, and his eyes are [as] the appearance of the morning star.
Soki ekosoli, zolo na yango ekobimisa pole; mbuma ya miso na yango ezali lokola moyi ya tongo.
19 Out of his mouth proceed as it were burning lamps, and as it were hearths of fire are cast abroad.
Moto makasi mpe moto mike-mike ebimaka na monoko na yango.
20 Out of his nostrils proceeds smoke of a furnace burning with fire of coals.
Milinga ebimaka na zolo na yango lokola na mbeki oyo ezali kotoka to lokola nzungu ya ebende ya moto.
21 His breath is [as] live coals, and a flame goes out of his mouth.
Pema na yango epelisaka makala ya moto, lolemo ya moto ebimaka na monoko na yango.
22 And power is lodged in his neck, before him destruction runs.
Makasi na yango evandi na kingo na yango, mpe somo ebimaka liboso na yango.
23 The flesh also of his body is joined together: [if one] pours [violence] upon him, he shall not be moved.
Masusa ya poso ya nzoto na yango ekangama elongo, elendisama makasi mpe eninganaka te.
24 His heart is firm as a stone, and it stands like an unyielding anvil.
Motema na yango ezali makasi lokola libanga, makasi lokola libanga oyo banikelaka bambuma.
25 And when he turns, [he is] a terror to the four-footed wild beasts which leap upon the earth.
Soki etelemi, bato ya makasi babangaka, mpe somo ekimisaka bango.
26 If spears should come against him, [men] will effect nothing, [either with] the spear or the breast-plate.
Soki obeti yango ezala mopanga, likonga to mbeli, ekosala yango eloko te.
27 For he considers iron as chaff, and brass as rotten wood.
Emonaka ebende lokola lititi, bronze lokola nzete epola.
28 The bow of brass shall not would him, he deems a slinger as grass.
Mbanzi ekimisaka yango te, mpe mabanga oyo babwakaka na nzela ya ebambelo mabanga ezali lokola poso ya loso mpo na yango.
29 Mauls are counted as stubble; and he laughs to scorn the waving of the firebrand.
Makonga ezali lokola matiti mpo na yango, mpe esekaka makelele ya makonga mike-mike.
30 His lair is [formed of] sharp points; and all the gold of the sea under him is an immense [quantity of] clay.
Se ya libumu na yango etonda na banzube, etambolaka lokola ebende oyo ebalolaka mabele.
31 He makes the deep boil like a brazen caldron; and he regards the sea as a pot of ointment,
Eningisaka mayi ya mozindo lokola mayi oyo ezali kotoka na nzungu, ekomisaka ebale monene lokola nzungu oyo batokiselaka malasi.
32 and the lowest part of the deep as a captive: he reckons the deep as [his] range.
Engengisaka nzela na sima na yango lokola suki ya pembe likolo ya mayi.
33 There is nothing upon the earth like to him, formed to be sported with by my angels.
Na mokili, nyama moko te ekokani na yango; mpe ebangaka te.
34 He beholds every high thing: and he is king of all that are in the waters.
Ebangaka te kobundisa banyama minene, ezali mokonzi ya banyama nyonso ya lolendo. »
