Job 34
1 And Elius continued, and said,
എലീഹൂ പിന്നെയും പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
2 Hear me, you wise men; listen, you that have knowledge.
ജ്ഞാനികളേ, എന്റെ വചനം കേൾപ്പിൻ; വിദ്വാന്മാരേ, എനിക്കു ചെവിതരുവിൻ.
3 For the ear tries words, and the mouth tastes meat.
അണ്ണാക്കു ആഹാരത്തെ രുചിനോക്കുന്നു; ചെവിയോ വചനങ്ങളെ ശോധന ചെയ്യുന്നു;
4 Let us choose judgment to ourselves: let us know amount ourselves what is right.
ന്യായമായുള്ളതു നമുക്കു തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കാം; നന്മയായുള്ളതു നമുക്കു തന്നേ ആലോചിച്ചറിയാം.
5 For Job has said, I am righteous: the Lord has removed my judgment.
ഞാൻ നീതിമാൻ, ദൈവം എന്റെ ന്യായം തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു; എന്റെ ന്യായത്തിന്നെതിരെ ഞാൻ ഭോഷ്കു പറയേണമോ?
6 And he has erred in my judgment: my wound is severe without unrighteousness [of mine].
ലംഘനം ഇല്ലാഞ്ഞിട്ടും എന്റെ മുറിവു പൊറുക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഇയ്യോബ് പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.
7 What man is as Job, drinking scorning like water?
ഇയ്യോബിനെപ്പോലെ ഒരാളുണ്ടോ? അവൻ പരിഹാസത്തെ വെള്ളംപോലെ കുടിക്കുന്നു;
8 [saying], I have not sinned, nor committed ungodliness, nor had fellowship with workers of iniquity, to go with the ungodly.
അവൻ ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരോടു കൂട്ടുകൂടുന്നു; ദുർജ്ജനങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു.
9 For you should not say, There shall be no visitation of a man, whereas [there is] a visitation on him from the Lord.
ദൈവത്തോടു രഞ്ജനയായിരിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു മനുഷ്യന്നു പ്രയോജനമില്ലെന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
10 Therefore hear me, you that are wise in heart: far be it from me to sin before the Lord, and to pervert righteousness before the almighty.
അതുകൊണ്ടു വിവേകികളേ, കേട്ടുകൊൾവിൻ; ദൈവം ദുഷ്ടതയോ സർവ്വശക്തൻ നീതികേടോ ഒരിക്കലും ചെയ്കയില്ല.
11 Yes, he renders to a man accordingly as each of them does, and in a man's path he will find him.
അവൻ മനുഷ്യന്നു അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു പകരം ചെയ്യും; ഓരോരുത്തന്നു അവനവന്റെ നടപ്പിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം കൊടുക്കും.
12 And think you that the Lord will do wrong, or will the Almighty who made the earth wrest judgment?
ദൈവം ദുഷ്ടത പ്രവർത്തിക്കയില്ല നിശ്ചയം; സർവ്വശക്തൻ ന്യായം മറിച്ചുകളകയുമില്ല.
13 And who is he that made [the whole world] under heaven, and all things therein?
ഭൂമിയെ അവങ്കൽ ഭരമേല്പിച്ചതാർ? ഭൂമണ്ഡലമാകെ സ്ഥാപിച്ചതാർ?
14 For if he would confine, and restrain his spirit with himself;
അവൻ തന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ മാത്രം ദൃഷ്ടിവെച്ചെങ്കിൽ തന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെയും ശ്വാസത്തെയും മടക്കി എടുത്തെങ്കിൽ
15 all flesh would die together, and every mortal would return to the earth, whence also he was formed.
സകലജഡവും ഒരുപോലെ കഴിഞ്ഞുപോകും; മനുഷ്യൻ പൊടിയിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിച്ചേരും.
16 Take heed lest he rebuke [you]: hear this, listen to the voice of words.
നിനക്കു വിവേകമുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഇതു കേട്ടുകൊൾക; എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകൊൾക;
17 Behold then the one that hates iniquities, and that destroys the wicked, who is for ever just.
ന്യായത്തെ പകെക്കുന്നവൻ ഭരിക്കുമോ? നീതിമാനും ബലവാനുമായവനെ നീ കുറ്റം വിധിക്കുമോ?
18 [He is] ungodly that says to a king, You are a transgressor, [that says] to princes, O most ungodly one.
രാജാവിനോടു: നീ വഷളൻ എന്നും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടു: നിങ്ങൾ ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ എന്നും പറയുമോ?
19 [Such a one] as would not reverence the face of an honorable man, neither knows how to give honor to the great, so as that their persons should be respected.
അവൻ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെ പക്ഷം എടുക്കുന്നില്ല; ദരിദ്രനെക്കാൾ ധനവാനെ ആദരിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല; അവരെല്ലാവരും തൃക്കൈയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയല്ലോ.
20 But it shall turn out vanity to them, to cry and beseech a man; for they dealt unlawfully, the poor being turned aside [from their right].
പെട്ടെന്നു അർദ്ധരാത്രിയിൽ തന്നേ അവർ മരിക്കുന്നു; ജനം കുലുങ്ങി ഒഴിഞ്ഞു പോകുന്നു; കൈ തൊടാതെ ബലശാലികൾ നീങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നു.
21 For he surveys the works of men, and nothing of what they do has escaped him.
അവന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടി മനുഷ്യന്റെ വഴികളിന്മേൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ നടപ്പു ഒക്കെയും അവൻ കാണുന്നു.
22 Neither shall there be a place for the workers of iniquity to hide themselves.
ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാർക്കു ഒളിച്ചുകൊള്ളേണ്ടതിന്നു അവിടെ ഇരുട്ടുമില്ല അന്ധതമസ്സുമില്ല.
23 For he will not lay upon a man more [than right].
മനുഷ്യൻ ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ ന്യായവിസ്താരത്തിന്നു ചെല്ലേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ അവനിൽ അധികം ദൃഷ്ടിവെപ്പാൻ ആവശ്യമില്ല.
24 For the Lord looks down upon all men, who comprehends unsearchable things, glorious also and excellent things without number.
വിചാരണ ചെയ്യാതെ അവൻ ബലശാലികളെ തകർത്തുകളയുന്നു; അവർക്കു പകരം വേറെ ആളുകളെ നിയമിക്കുന്നു.
25 Who discovers their works, and will bring night about [upon them], and they shall be brought low.
അങ്ങനെ അവൻ അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ അറിയുന്നു; രാത്രിയിൽ അവരെ മറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവർ തകർന്നുപോകുന്നു.
26 And he quite destroys the ungodly, for they are seen before him.
കാണികൾ കൂടുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു അവൻ അവരെ ദുഷ്ടന്മാരെപ്പോലെ ശിക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
27 Because they turned aside from the law of God, and did not regard his ordinances,
അവർ, എളിയവരുടെ നിലവിളി അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ എത്തുവാനും പീഡിതന്മാരുടെ നിലവിളി അവൻ കേൾപ്പാനും തക്കവണ്ണം
28 so as to bring before him the cry of the needy; for he will hear the cry of the poor.
അവനെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു പിന്മാറിക്കളകയും അവന്റെ വഴികളെ ഗണ്യമാക്കാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്തുവല്ലോ.
29 And he will give quiet, and who will condemn? and he will hide his face, and who shall see him? whether [it be done] against a nation, or against a man also:
വഷളനായ മനുഷ്യൻ വാഴാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും ജനത്തെ കുടുക്കുവാൻ ആരും ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും
30 causing a hypocrite to be king, because of the waywardness of the people.
അവൻ സ്വസ്ഥത നല്കിയാൽ ആർ കുറ്റം വിധിക്കും? ഒരു ജാതിക്കായാലും ഒരാൾക്കായാലും അവൻ മുഖം മറെച്ചുകളഞ്ഞാൽ ആർ അവനെ കാണും?
31 For [there is] one that says to the Mighty One, I have received [blessings]; I will not take a pledge:
ഞാൻ ശിക്ഷ സഹിച്ചു; ഞാൻ ഇനി കുറ്റം ചെയ്കയില്ല;
32 I will see apart from myself: do you show me if I have done unrighteousness; I will not do [so] any more.
ഞാൻ കാണാത്തതു എന്നെ പഠിപ്പിക്കേണമേ; ഞാൻ അന്യായം ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഇനി ചെയ്കയില്ല എന്നു ആരെങ്കിലും ദൈവത്തോടു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ടോ?
33 Will he take vengeance for it on you, whereas you will put [it] far [from you]? for you shall choose, and not I; and what you know, speak you.
നീ മുഷിഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ നിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ പകരം ചെയ്യേണമോ? ഞാനല്ല, നീ തന്നേ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കേണ്ടതല്ലോ; ആകയാൽ നീ അറിയുന്നതു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചുകൊൾക.
34 Because the wise in heart shall say this, and a wise man listens to my word.
ഇയ്യോബ് അറിവില്ലാതെ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ വാക്കുകളിലും ജ്ഞാനമില്ല എന്നു വിവേകമുള്ള പുരുഷന്മാരും
35 But Job has not spoken with understanding, his words are not [uttered] with knowledge.
എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുന്ന ഏതു ജ്ഞാനിയും എന്നോടു പറയും.
36 Howbeit do you learn, Job: no longer make answer as the foolish:
ഇയ്യോബ് ദുഷ്ടന്മാരെപ്പോലെ പ്രതിവാദിക്കകൊണ്ടു അവനെ ആദിയോടന്തം പരിശോധിച്ചാൽ കൊള്ളാം.
37 that we add not to our sins: for iniquity will be reckoned against us, if [we] speak many words before the Lord.
അവൻ തന്റെ പാപത്തോടു ദ്രോഹം ചേർക്കുന്നു; അവൻ നമ്മുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ കൈ കൊട്ടുന്നു; ദൈവത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി വാക്കു വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
