Job 19
1 Then Job answered and said,
ಯೋಬನು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ:
2 How long will you vex my soul, and destroy me with words? only know that the Lord has dealt with me thus.
“ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ ನನ್ನ ನೋಯಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ಜಜ್ಜುವಿರಿ?
3 You speak against me; you do not feel for me, but bear hard upon me.
ಈಗ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾರಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿಂದಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ನಾಚಿಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಕ್ರಮಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ.
4 Yes verily, I have erred in truth, (but the error abides with myself) in having spoken words which it was not right [to speak]; and my words err, and are unreasonable.
ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ನಾನು ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿಮಗೇನು? ನನ್ನ ತಪ್ಪು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರಲಿ.
5 But alas! for you magnify yourselves against me, and insult me with reproach.
ನೀವು ನನಗಿಂತ ಉತ್ತಮರು ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ನನಗಾದ ಹೀನಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ.
6 Know then that it is the Lord that has troubled [me], and has raised his bulwark against me.
ದೇವರಿಂದಲೇ ನನಗೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ; ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಲೆಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಸಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿ.
7 Behold, I laugh at reproach; I will not speak: [or] I will cry out, but [there is] nowhere judgment.
“‘ಹಿಂಸೆ,’ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಕೂಗಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುವವರಿಲ್ಲ; ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟರೂ ನ್ಯಾಯ ದೊರಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
8 I am fenced round about, and can by no means escape: he has set darkness before my face.
ನಾನು ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗದಂತೆ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ದಾರಿಗೆ ಬೇಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನನ್ನ ಹಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಲು ಕವಿಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
9 And he has stripped me of my glory, and has taken the crown from my head.
ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಘನತೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನನ್ನ ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ತಲೆಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
10 He has torn me around about, and I am gone: and he has cut off my hope like a tree.
ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ದಾಳಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ನಾನು ಕ್ಷಯಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಮರವನ್ನು ಕೀಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತುಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
11 And he has dreadfully handled me in anger, and has counted me for an enemy.
ದೇವರ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿಯುತ್ತಿದೆ; ನಾನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವೈರಿಯಂತೆ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
12 His troops also came upon me with one accord, liars in wait compassed my ways.
ದೇವರ ಸೇನೆ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದಿಬ್ಬನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ, ನನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಇಳಿದಿವೆ.
13 My brethren have stood aloof from me; they have recognized strangers [rather] than me: and my friends have become pitiless.
“ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರನ್ನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಅಗಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಚಿತರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತೊರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
14 My nearest of kin have not acknowledged me, and they that knew my name, have forgotten me.
ನನ್ನ ಬಂಧುಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನನ್ನ ಆಪ್ತ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
15 [As for] my household, and my maidservants, I was a stranger before them.
ನನ್ನ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು, ನನ್ನ ದಾಸದಾಸಿಯರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯನೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಪರದೇಶದವನ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ.
16 I called my servant, and he listened not; and my mouth entreated [him].
ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನನ್ನು ಕರೆದರೂ, ಅವನು ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿತೆರೆದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ಅವನು ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
17 And I implored my wife, and earnestly entreated the sons of my concubines.
ನನ್ನ ಶ್ವಾಸವು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ, ನನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಹೇಸಿಕೆಯಾದೆ.
18 But they rejected me for ever; whenever I rise up, they speak against me.
ಚಿಕ್ಕವರೂ ಸಹ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನಾನು ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
19 They that saw me abhorred me: the very persons whom I had loved, rose up against me.
ನನ್ನ ಆಪ್ತ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅಸಹ್ಯಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನಾನು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡಿದವರೇ ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
20 My flesh is corrupt under my skin, and my bones are held in [my] teeth.
ನಾನು ಕೇವಲ ಎಲುಬೂ ತೊಗಲೂ ಆಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಹಲ್ಲು ಚರ್ಮದಿಂದಲೇ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆನು.
21 Pity me, pity me, O friends; for it is the hand of the Lord that has touched me.
“ಕನಿಕರಿಸಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕನಿಕರಿಸಿರಿ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರ ಕೈ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸಿದೆ.
22 Therefore do you persecute me as also the Lord [does], and are not satisfied with my flesh?
ದೇವರಂತೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ಹಿಂಸಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ? ನನಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದು ಸಾಲದೋ?
23 For oh that my words were written, and that they were recorded in a book forever,
“ಆಹಾ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ, ಆ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಸುರುಳಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದರೆ,
24 with an iron pen and lead, or graven in the rocks!
ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಉಳಿಯಿಂದ ಬಂಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆತ್ತಿ, ಸೀಸೆ ಎರೆದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಶಾಸನವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಒಳಿತು!
25 For I know that he is eternal who is about to deliver me,
ನನ್ನ ವಿಮೋಚಕರು ಜೀವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಕಡೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ವಿಮೋಚಕರು ಬಂದು ನಿಲ್ಲುವರೆಂದೂ ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
26 [and] to raise up upon the earth my skin that endures these [sufferings]: for these things have been accomplished to me of the Lord;
ನನ್ನ ಚರ್ಮವು ಬಿರಿದು ಹಾಳಾದ ಬಳಿಕವೂ, ನಾನು ದೇಹದಾರಿಯಾಗಿಯೇ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನೋಡುವೆನು.
27 which I am conscious of in myself, which mine eye has seen, and not another, but all have been fulfilled to me in [my] bosom.
ದೇವರನ್ನು ನಾನೇ ನೋಡುವೆನು; ಬೇರೆಯವರಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವೆನು; ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ನನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಹಂಬಲಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಹಾರೈಸುತ್ತಿದೆ!
28 But if you shall also say, What shall we say before him, and [so] find the root of the matter in him?
“‘ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರೇ, ಅವನ ದುರ್ಗತಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣ ಅವನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದೆ, ನಾವು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆಕೊಡೋಣ?’ ಎಂದು ನೀವು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ,
29 Do you also beware of deceit: for wrath will come upon transgressors; and then shall they know where their substance is.
ನೀವು ಖಡ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಕ್ರೋಧವು ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ತರುವುದು. ಆಗ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪು ಉಂಟೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುವುದು.”
